martas Hotel Berlin Mitte

There is no air conditioning in the hotel, so my initial room was oppressively hot because the blinds had been left open and the room was just heating up all day. The front desk kindly moved my room to a cooler one that was still quite hot. If you have a health condition that makes you sensitive to the heat, I would not stay here in a heat wave. The bathroom smelled very strongly of damp. Despite all these complaints this is a very nice hotel for the price.

The hotel was fairly expensive but did not have a safe or fridge in the room. No breakfast either. Also, it seemed very easy for potential thieves to get to the room as there is a direct access to the rooms that does not go past reception.
