The pool area was nasty, alot of bugs and dirt at the bottom of the pool. For the amount of money no sitting area to smoke and talk . No microwave in room. And parking prices was ridiculous. Bed sheets was nasty. Staff was nice and nice area.

Hotel was beautiful. Very clean and conveniently located. Staff were nice. The parking situation did catch us off guard. There is no off site parking, you are required to pay for onsite parking. Underground onsite parking is not set up for larger vehicles at all.

Staff were incredible - definitely a great experience & excellent customer service. Pool area was not as pictured & desperately needs updating. Elevators really slow. But again, the staff was top notch.

Decent stay. Only complaint I have is the access to parking garage. If you have a SUV, good luck with getting your vehicle in and out of the access point with hotel card...very tight.

The staff was extremely friendly as property, and we enjoyed our room as it was clean and well equipped, but one of the main reasons we booked the hotel was to hang out at the pool to find out when we got there that the pool was closed

I was celebrating my birthday so I booked this particular hotel, strictly based on them having an outdoor rooftop pool as well as a hot tub. After Getting comfortable in the room and putting on my swimsuit, I noticed that the pool area was down for a whole season. I really want my money back

Self-parking in the underground garage is secure, which is nice, but it is also $22 per night. Valet is $28. This is more common in bigger cities, but this still seems a little high for a Hoover/Birmingham property.

Bathroom was disgustingly dirty, with pink mold throughout the shower. Staff was friendly and accommodating, except for the onsite restaurant, whose employees seemed like they were doing you a favor to provide any kind of service. It was all in all, a very disappointing experience!

The room had mold in the bathroom We have stayed at a lot of Hyatts and this one was awful, mold in the bathroom no continental breakfast had to pay for ours but notice that the girls at the front desk would give certain people free food vouchers and they were not with a group it was two of them but we had to pay. For the price we paid for the rooms we should have had food vouchers. Pool was not opened. The pool looked really nice. But to have mold in your room topped it all. I thought this Hyatt was supposed to be the best. Such a disappointment and I have pictures of the mold ..

Overall it was okay. We arrived a little late as we stay a few hour away and were on our way to Orlando the following day. We are a streaming movie family and were really disappointed not have a smart tv or option for streaming services. Channels were not the best. The room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Our first room smelled like marijuana. It was no issue for front desk to give us a new room. We were appreciative. I paid for breakfast for the family. We headed down the following morning and quickly walked out after picking up multiple plates and realizing that NONE of them were clean. It was as if someone forgot to put them in the dishwasher or simply rinsed them once with water. The room itself served the main purpose. It provided a place to sleep for our extended travel.

The rooms were very well appointed. The staff were amazing. The reason gor the 4 stars in some categories was because the hot water in the sink was not very functional. Aside from that, I'd definitely return to this property.

Staff was amazing. Everything was fine. Except for 1 thing. They put us next to the elevator which is normally not an issue. But the elevators were so loud. Not the people on them. The actual elevators. You could hear them going up and down all day and night. And it wasn’t quiet at all. Couldn’t sleep and went to front but they were sold out. Paid for the higher room hoping to have quiet stay with no one above us but was kept up all night with the elevator. Loudest elevator I’ve ever stayed by

Nice hotel but was met with a strong smell of pot smoke when waiting for the elevator from the parking garage. Every staff member that I encountered was super friendly and helpful. The room was average and noisy traffic could be heard throughout the night (sounded like I was right next to the Daytona speedway).

Check-in was a nightmare - lots of confusion with booking references between Hotels.com and Hyatt. I had six booking references for my wedding party and it was difficult to understand and reconcile. David at Merks Bar was FIVE STARS and fantastic with our group.

Check in was rough due to computer problems but the room and hospitality was excellent. The prices in the mini mart are beyond gouging. You would think they'd treat customers fairly but instead they get all they can. Room was great comfortable and quiet. Bedding and towels all very clean or new. One lady at front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had coffee and a requested item. Front desk needs to conduct themselves professionally at all times. I watched a Manager chew out an employee which was embarrassing for both of us and in my opinion unnecessary.

Very unprofessional. I came to check in at 4:45 pm and they said my room is not ready and when I came back I didn’t find my toddler crib in the room and unfortunately they said they ran out of cribs . I had to sleep on sofa to accommodate my toddler. Unprofessional , unorganized

I encountered rudeness from the staff at check-in, particularly from Jasmine. Additionally, the valet parking staff also exhibited discourteous behavior during checkout. Consequently, I have decided that I will not stay at the Hyatt again in the future.

We arrived at the Hotel around 5:45 in the evening. After waiting in line to check in for over 30 mins. I was informed that they did not have a room ready for us. The posted check in time is 4 o’clock. The put us into the Que and would text us when the room was ready. We received the text at 7:31. We the. Waited in line again for about 30 mins to finally check in. The check in process took another 20 mins. We did not get into our room until 8 PM. At no time did the staff do anything to make the situation better.

Overall it was okay. We arrived a little late as we stay a few hour away and were on our way to Orlando the following day. We are a streaming movie family and were really disappointed not have a smart tv or option for streaming services. Channels were not the best. The room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Our first room smelled like marijuana. It was no issue for front desk to give us a new room. We were appreciative. I paid for breakfast for the family. We headed down the following morning and quickly walked out after picking up multiple plates and realizing that NONE of them were clean. It was as if someone forgot to put them in the dishwasher or simply rinsed them once with water. The room itself served the main purpose. It provided a place to sleep for our extended travel.

My stay was pretty pleasant rooms were nice and comfy, bathrooms were pretty clean but the shampoo and conditioner holder in the shower was very rusty but that was nothing to ruin my stay , the best part of the stay was the entrance to the mall from the hotel lobby, now to breakfast it’s a very basic very limited buffet not worth $24.99 breakfast was from 6-11am we went down stairs bout 8:30 everything was half empty and not refilled , the pool was on the 4th floor room that’s was cool I didn’t get a chance to get in because it was a little crowded both days of my stay over all I will stay here again just want purchase breakfast next time.

Check in was easy. Had an issue with the tv - called front desk and was put on hold for 20 minutes. My partner came across concierge while waiting for front desk attendant who finally helped . Breakfast buffet - the servers ignored us - had to ask for water and glasses were slammed down. Had to argue to get the check liked that the hotel was hooked to the mall - that was different. Rooms were clean . I’m not sure if I would stay again .

We enjoyed our stay; however, we ate at the restaurant inside the hotel and the food was overpriced for the quality. Our bartender was an angel though. I had the pasta & I couldn’t eat it. I felt with the prices it would’ve been divine, but wasn’t. I was sick about the amount we paid for our food. It was terrible. Our room was clean and nice but we were disappointed that the fridge we had wasn’t really working and we didn’t have a microwave in it either. I will say we did not have our car valeted, but the staff there was super nice.

We had the BEST weekend getaway. My only complaint is the pool could definitely use a pool net as there was a lot floating around in it . But that being said everything else was absolutely wonderful!! I HAVE to take a second and brag on Jennifer at the front desk from the warm welcome to ensuring we had the best weekend!! And then David at the Merks bar was SO friendly SO attentive and became a friend that we will come back to see even if we’re not staying in the hotel!!

First, we were given keys to a room that was already occupied by another guest. Once we got into another room, the beds were not made properly and the mattress was bare at the bottom. There was a top sheet turned sideways which exposed the bottom part of the mattress, no fitted sheet on either bed. Both were flat sheets turned sideways. Shower had black mold in the corners.

Such a great place to stay! The people at the front desk were very helpful and kind. They switched my room to a higher floor and didn't mind me asking. The room was very clean and everything worked. Elevators were fast and no issues. Parking in the garage was good. The room keys worked every time. Overall it was a great place to stay and I will be glad to come back.
