Very friendly staff. The car park is in the back of hotel and is not easy to find.

It was old and unique but there was no lift of any kind, and with people with mobility issues difficult at times to manage the lots of stairs in the hotel

Building itself is old and rather quirky. Room was small but very clean and adequate for stay. Food both in evening and breakfast was exceptional and there is a good choice of beers. Staff all very accommodating - my only gripe would be that listing should include directions to car park - hotel is on a one way system and the postcode takes you to front whereas car park is at rear. Bit of a mare, particularly arriving during rush hour.

Booked a table for 7pm and they drinks order taken at 7.20, food turned up which was ok. Comfortable room but a constant noise from cars in the town. Prefer their other hotel in Horncastle.

Very cute bed and breakfast! Do note that since it is a historical building there are no elevators so keep that in mind if you are an overpacker.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking is hard to find as the address takes you to the front of the property but found it in the end. Food was delicious both breakfast and dinner. I will book here again when I am in the area again for work

Beautiful hotel, inside and out, perfectly located in the centre of Boston, Lincolnshire. Beautiful and breathtaking decor and views of the river and Boston Stump. Rooms Beautiful and superbly kept, exceptionally well equipped with hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee making facilities. Fabulous breakfast, and all the staff, from reception, servers, chambermaids and porters were superb, friendly and very welcoming, we encountered Mark and Esti and many more. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! The shower was super efficient. We highly recommend a stay here, and will, no doubt, be staying again.

Lovely, historic hotel with a great bar an restaurant area. The food in the restaurant is of a very high quality. Staff were friendly and helpful in general, although a couple of the younger bar staff not quite as much as the more mature staff. The room was nicely decorated and well appointed, although the bathroom was a little "tired", but was clean and well stocked. Good selection of tea/coffee options and snacks in the room, with more available from reception at any time. The hotel is perfectly located in central Boston and handy for all main attractions/shops etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again.

The room was excellent. Clean, spacious, new bathroom. The bed was terrible. Rock hard mattress and pancake pillows.

Our first visit for a wedding. Booked classic room with breakfast. Room was spacious and lovely and warm. Hospitality tray included tea, coffee, hot chocolate and packs of biscuits. Bathroom very clean and looked modern. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Will visit again in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor area by the river. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Central location for the town and The Stump. One of the Faux Leather arm chairs had rips in the leather on both the seat and left hand arm. One of the bath towels had a number of holes in it. No bottled water in the room on arrival to go with the two glasses provided. Shower head needed a good clean and black mould evident around the bath seal in corner. Hot water was far too hot could be dangerous if not aware. Bar staff were very friendly and gave good service

Stay fine. Rooms a bit of a warren of corridors but well signposted. Beds comfortable. Double glazing reasonably sound proof except for revving engines - it was Friday night! All clean. Nice variety of breakfast food. We had to ask for hot milk to add to strong coffee - we were served it willingly but it involved the waiter going elsewhere to get it.

Ok let me start with the positives. Location of the hotel is excellent for the town centre. Everything is walkable and there is plenty of free parking. The hotel staff are friendly and the quality of the food is excellent and they have an extensive menu for both drinks and food options and cater well for allergies. The negative is the room. Having stayed in this hotel before we are aware the rooms are small compared to other hotels in the area. However the room we had was very small and had we been staying more than a couple days would have struggled with as literally three small drawers and a very small wardrobe-room on arrival was dusty with cobwebs in the corners and around lamps but the bathroom was very clean. The main issue with the room(and there was nothing to move us to) was the temperature. The hot water pipes off the boiler run through the room-these become very very hot-they are also unlagged so you can burn yourself on them. The room temperature exceeded 80 degrees and because of noise from the street it is not possible to open the windows. The small fan we were given just circulated warm air. Room was extremely uncomfortable to try and sleep in and there is nothing the staff can do-in there words it’s an old building. The boiler also kicks in at 5 am and the pipes bang loudly. Unlikely to use again unless they fit some sort of AC which is a shame as staff and food option are outstanding

Very clean, great staff, great hotel

A quiet en-suite room was requested and provided. The room was congested because it had a double bed in it. A single bed would be much better and there would be more space to move around.

Great hotel in a very convenient location! All the staff were super friendly, especially the waitresses at the bar and restaurant—they were attentive and kind throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast had plenty of great options to choose from. My room was comfortable, and the bed was just what I needed for a good night's sleep. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made the room a bit warm at times. Still, everything else was excellent—from the service to the amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent interior condition apart from bedroom window and rear exterior on 1st floor overlooking car park which were in extremely poor condition. No aircon in room on a very hot night where the fan provided had little effect. Food and service were excellent. However will be returning on our next visit to South Lincolnshire.

It was busy in the restaurant and we waited a lenghtly tine for our food and then it was wrong, but we ended up just eating it. I wouldnt stay at this hotel again during the weekend. Its not far from the night clubs and we lay listening to the thump of the music until 0400! Unfortunately, i had picked up a head cold and because of the lack of sleep we actually left the hotel a day earlier than booked. Shame really as it was our 35th Anniversary.

Lovely hotel and the room was superb with possibly the comfiest bed and pillows I have ever experienced in a hotel and I stay in a lot of hotels. The coffee machine was a nice addition.

Lovely room, and comfortable bed. Great to have a DAB radio in there to listen to. Also plenty of plug sockets close enough to the bed to allow overnight charging and keep the phones within reach. Slightly marred by our room being above kitchen/cellar and the constant noise of the extractor/cooler fans/motor was intrusive overnight. However, that wouldnt be an issue in a sifferent toom.

I stayed at the White Hart on Wednesday as part of business trip. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Free parking to the rear of the property was available to use. I also had breakfast which was excellent. The only issues I found was that the soundproofing in my room wasn't great. I was positioned at the main road side of the hotel. The traffic noise was very loud and kept me awake till the early hours. Also the room temperature was cold throughout the night, my phone measured the temperature at 16.5 degrees which is not comfortable and there was no heating control in the room to adjust it.

Both were excellent and not over-priced. The hotel is old but oozes old-world charm. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is right in the centre of town. The hotel is by the river (the Witham, maybe?) with the magnificent Boston Stump (St Botolph's Church Tower) across the river. Being old, the hotel layout is 'interesting' but characterful. It was quite a fair walk to our room, back and forth and up several sets of stairs but the room was clean and modern, as was the bathroom. We would definitely consider staying there again.

I have stayed here several times before and the staff are lovely however on this visit there just didn't seem to be enough of them. We waited for food orders to be taken, drinks to arrive and extras such as gravy to come to the table. This is not the staffs fault as they are great just understaffed.

If you can find the carpark let me know. Ending up having to shove it in an NCP. Couldn’t get hold of staff at reception to ask as it kept going to answerphone. Not the best first impression

This is a great hotel with great rooms, great staff and an excellent restaurant. The Hotel staff are some of the most friendly and attentive i have come across across many trips home and abroad and the management team deserve great credit in having such a good team onboard

Breakfast each day was great, with plenty of choice and consistently good quality. I also had the lovely surprise of receiving a free two-course meal after registering on the hotel’s website, as it happened to be my birthday—such a thoughtful touch that really made my stay feel special. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and am already looking forward to returning in the next few months. Highly recommended!

A pleasant break at this Coaching Inn. Good location in Boston with private car park. Food good at breakfast and dinner.

Liked the fact that breakfast was included. Serving staff were helpful, and good in dealing with odd requests for food and drinks. Food and drinks were of good standard at breakfast and dining. Rooms on the top floor, which we had, was both tiring to get too, and extremely hot on warm days(A fan was provided) We do not class ourselves as disabled, but found the climb difficult for us, as pensioners. Location by the river should have been idyllic, but was spoiled by seagull noise in the mornings, and boy racers charging by in the evenings. Admittedly not the hotels fault, but did not help the ambience, and would definitely not have eaten outside for fear of gulls. Parking was good, with two car parks availble with fair amount of spaces. Would certainly book a bigger room on a lower floor if we stayed again, but would maybe stay at a hotel that was further out from the river and main roads.

Such a beautiful river side hotel with a lovely little court yard as well as a bar, restaurant and coffee shop . Great choice of comfy seating either inside or on the out door terrace by the side of the river in a lovely setting with a view of the beautiful church which unfortunately wasnt open.We had breakfast and dinner which were excellent and reasonably priced too. Lovely comfy clean and spacious room with complimentary tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits.The only downside: our room was at the back and due to the very warm weather we left our window open. Unfortunately we could hear the noise of the local night club making it very difficult to sleep . Although if the window had been closed it probably woudnt have been as bad. The areas surrounding dont do the hotel justice as it has seen better days with a lot of either empty or derelict shops/ buildings which is such a shame.

The White Hart is in a lovely spot, beside the river and close to the beautiful St Botolph's church, which is well worth a visit. Inside the hotel, there are several different public areas to have a coffee, to read and relax, as well as the more formal dining, breakfast and bar areas , and with riverside tables outside. All of the staff were incredibly well trained and helpful. I had one of a handful of rooms which was hit by an electrical fault late on my last night. The young lady who was duty manager dealt with this in textbook fashion--checking the fuseboard, immediately offering me a different room (I declined as it was late and I just wanted to sleep!), and showing calmness, capability and concern, and a determination to solve the problem. I'm so sorry that I didn't take her name, but she was a shining example of brilliant customer service!

Nice hotel in central area of Boston, with convenient parking and very good staff area around hotel is a little run down, but lots to see and do in Boston. Would recommend getting a local guide of town centre to enable you to appreciate the history of the town.

Staff was great, however my room was unbearably hot and the windows had been made "safe" so it couldn't Open very much. I stayed in room 108 and at 5am in the morning some one was rolling barrels below my room and having a good old chin wag whilst he did it. So that was me awake at that point. The restaurant food wasn't great, the starter was good (scotch egg) but the main was not worth the money at all. There was not very much of the belly pork but it turned out to be a good thing as it was under cooked and fatty. The breakfast apart from the Bacon and the beans was inedible, Have a look at my egg for example. Real shame as the location was great.

Superb. Comfortable and friendly with loads of nice little touches. Restaurant was good too. Don't be put off by the rather bland sounding menu, which really doesn't do justice to the food. The food is excellent. Wine is a bit on the pricey side, but you can't have everything! Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.

We enjoyed our visit to The White Hart, the staff made us very welcome. However, we only wanted a continental breakfast and the choice was limited. Good choice of cereal but no fresh fruit which was disappointing and poor choice of fruit juice, minimal pastries. An old toaster which wasn’t very efficient. In the bar the machine for making hot chocolate or cappuccino coffee or latte wasn’t working, this has happened on a previous visit and the cakes available were somewhat tired. Having said that the atmosphere in the hotel is good. Being a hotel of mature years, there are areas which require some attention. We would go again. The White Hart is a great asset to the town of Boston and fulfils an important role for the local community and visitors.

Super place to stay! Food is excellent.

We stayed here for 4 nights and couldn’t fault the facilities. The breakfast was excellent with loads of choice and friendly helpful staff. Our only disappointment was the bar and restaurant prices. We ate in the first night and although the food was adequate it definitely wasn’t as good as the menu promised and certainly not value for money. There’s a Wetherspoons pub directly opposite and we used that on subsequent nights. There was no incentive to use the hotel bar and restaurant which is possibly something the management should consider. We ate out for the remaining nights once in Los Burritos and twice in the Thai restaurant Monkey and I. We will definitely stay here again and can thoroughly recommend it.
