This is a perfectly serviceable hotel option on the M62. Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable and Wi-Fi works Only disappointment was the £5 charge for parking - which is in the small print but should really be in the room rate given everyone brings a vehicle….

The hotel itself is in Heartshead Moor services and when you book and pay for the hotel they DON'T tell you there's a £15 DAILY CAR PARKING CHARGE - ON TOP of the room that you only find out about when you actually arrive at the reception desk. Apart from that the hotel itself was fairly clean with basic but clean amenities etc.

Room extremely unclean, bathroom taps hadn’t been cleaned properly in an eternity,, carpet dirty and sweets under the bed where it obviously never gets moved to be hoovered around Sofa bed in the room so dirty you wouldn’t dare put anything on it and it’s never been pulled out to be hoovered around since it was placed in the room however many years ago that was

Reception staff were great and very friendly, especially with our daughter. The room itself had a distinct urine smell, there were stains all over the carpets and chair. The bath tub had what appeared to be urine droplets inside. Unfortunately had to check out early due to unsatisfactory cleanliness.

Arrived 8pm. Plastic bag of rubbish still there. Wet towels left in the bath :( Staff managed to get me new towels. TV is very small. Has coffee / tea facilities. Overall, cheap, cheerful and convenient hotel for budget traveller seeking a stopover.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady in reception who was very helpful and friendly. On entering the room it smelt mouldy and stale. The furniture was very dated and in dire need of replacing. The chair by the desk was wobbly and the fake leather flaking. The bathroom was also very used. Bath had the enamel chipped off in various places and black mould. The bath was as deep as a paddling pool so was not enjoyable. After sleeping the night I was woke up several times itching from the sheets. The hotel is cheap enough but would def not stay there again.

Decent bed and pillows, functional shower and tea making facilities and TV. Think they had a staff shortage prior to arrival which meant cleaning was patchy and no prep for the number of guests so only towels and chair for one guest when 2 were staying. Reception staff were apologetic and helpful with missing items. Rooms are looking a bit shabby and regrouting required in bathrooms. Budget option so probably adequate for the price.

Room not in great condition. Dirty bathroom. Only 3 thin pillows - asked for more but told there were no extras. There was no shower gel in dispenser. Only one towel provided for 3. Hotel smelled of cigarette smoke (although room was ok). No one on reception in the evening, no locked internal doors so didn't feel very secure. However beds comfortable, convenient location and cheap price!

We had booked for two nights and checked in quite late for the first night and we're extremely disappointed with the standard of cleanliness.Due to the late time of check in we had no alternative but to stay that night. We booked somewhere else for the second Night as we felt that we couldn't stay there for another night. Although this was cheap it should still be clean. The corridors had not been hoovered, the room had stains on the carpet and on the chair, the bed was uncomfortable and you felt like you would fall out of it as the sides of the mattress were so weak, but the bathroom was the worst. There was black mould behind the bath taps, there was dirty marks on the bathroom door and water stains on the shower controls showing that it had not been cleaned properly. Rust marks in the bath where the enamel had been chipped and silicon coming away from around the sink. All of which show that there is a lack of maintenance. When we booked we searched for hotels that included breakfast but when we enquired at the reception we were told that it is only a box breakfast which was more.of a "packed lunch" and not a cooked breakfast. As there was no air conditioning the hotel provide a fan, on inspection this was caked in dust and very unhygienic. I would definitely not stay here again.

The room I had was on the ground floor and smelled bad. I should have asked to change room but checked in after a nightshift at 5am and just wanted to get my head down. Bought air freshener and sprayed each day before shift. Wi-Fi is non existent and keeps cutting off constantly. Bed and shower okay . Somewhere just for one night but no use for a week stay . Also on motorway services so limited for food and drink. Cheap and you get what you pay for .

This was a business trip so I was minimising cost and you get what you pay for. Rooms are tired and could do with a spruce up. bathroom as well. Clean but dated and showing wear and tear. Staff were friendly and welcoming though. Food options are very limited, 2 closest pubs, 1 did not serve food, other closed at 7:30pm! Left with service station food as only option.

Hotel is in eastbound side, £65 on a Saturday night en route to Manchester from up North. Parked on westbound walked over the bridge over the motorway. Great check in with Tim and I called ahead as I was late and he gave me the advice of parking the other side. Salute! You can buy a few bits/snacks at front desk, hotel was nice and warm, easy access to room, basic room but really big. Tea nd Coffee, no biscuits this time.

Very easy check-in and friendly receptionist. Spacious room but honestly, very uncomfortable bed (not the best pillow) - nonetheless, still recommend it as good for the price and room/shower quality. Would I stay again? Maybe, just bring your favorite pillow if you value your sleep.

I've stayed at the hotel before, it's basically a bed to split a long drive - so I caveat any comments on that basis. It's not a hotel to be used as part of a "romantic getaway", that's for sure. Staff are very pleasant, helpful - I got checked in a bit earlier than stated check-in time. Room smelled foisty / damp and that had permeated somewhat into the bedding - but the bedding was clean and bed comfy, and arriving back to the hotel at 1.00am, I wasn't too fussed! Good powerful shower, plenty of hot water, shower head could do with being higher - it was pointed at my chest, but I am 6'3" tall, so shorter people probably won't have an issue. I'll stay again, for the reasons stated at the start, but definitely a "head down for a few hours" sort of hotel.

Friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. It's not the Ritz hotel of course but if all you need is somewhere clean, warm and comfortable to stay, at a bargain price, then it's hard to beat.

My second stay at this hotel, for convenience over anything else. Room had a number of very suspect stains on the carpets that I just avoided for the time I was in the room. Bed itself was very comfortable and I had no disturbances through the night of noisy guests / vehicles within the services. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Extremely shocked at how bad this service was. I travelled 4 hours to this hotel and had it pre-booked. When me and my family came and tried to check in, the lady on the counter said oh you’ve already been checked in, under YOUR NAME. It turns out the receptionist had let a random man into our room without checking his full name properly, and just went based off the first name and completely ignored the surname. This man was later taken out of the room and required to pay for his own room (which he did not do previously). The ladies and child of my family were very scared and fearful the entire night because that same man walked across corridor and followed them, 15 minutes later. The receptionist on the day and ESPECIALLY the next day were unbothered and refused to compensate us or give a refund. The last lady even said “oh you were safe and had a good rest in the room” so everything was fine. No professionalism or sympathy or compensation!!!!!

It was in a motorway, so very easy to get to by car. You can drive anywhere from there easily. If you dont have a car and take the train you need a cab to go anywhere. Places to eat are there next door

Perfectly acceptable hotel for a very decent price. Arrived at 11 and left at 7 so serves its purpose perfectly. I would stay here again Note the hotel is on eastbound side of motorway (they really should put this on the website ! ) but if travelling west it’s only a mile to the next opportunity to turn around.

It was the only convenient hotel that was reasonably priced on our way to Leeds, but was the perfect overnight stop. It was located at the small motorway services, the rooms were fine. As expected there is not many plug sockets but I always travel with an extension lead so that always helps! The beds were clean and comfortable and would stay here again.
