Stairs for upper floors. Doors everywhere. Mattress needs replacement. Balcony door didn't open. I thought it was expensive given the age of the building. But it seems like most of these older places still command high prices

We booked a room with a balcony, which we didn't get we got a room with no balcony all we got was a little area outside of the room, that was right next to the owners with a door in between who were very loud, we asked why and they just said they didn't have any other rooms move us. Very poor to say the least.

I stayed 4 nights. One night there was a lot of outdoor noise from transient locals who came into the pool area after staff went home, This loud ruckus went on all night, not much sleep happening. Another day I woke in my bed to the strong smell of cigarette smoke, I opened the door to see the room across from me did not have a non-smoking sign on the door. For this reason alone I wont stay here again. The bathroom toilet makes a constant fizzing sound like air through water, and the shower drips if the hot water tap isnt turned off very tightly. The small bar fridge is not very cold but makes a heck of a noise. Overall I would summarise my experience as noisy, and not where I will stay again because I paid for accommodation so I could sleep. Oh, and although the wifi was on it was not connected to the internet, so no TV nor any communication from staff about the matter.
