Having a guest laundry was a bonus. Very good place.

Very good service, I appreciated that there was no closing time to use the pool

Our stay was a quick overnight before our flight the next day. Had it been a longer stay, I would have been disappointed by the parking (very limited, not adequate for all guests to park) and by the amenities provided in the kitchenette (one set of silverware and no cooking utensils). The bed was an older spring mattress and was too soft for my liking. But the memory foam pillow was great! The hotel is older and in serious need of renovation. The location is just far away from the centre of town to be quieter, but also just far away from the centre of town to be inconvenient if you don’t want to drive and give up your treasured parking spot!

Older facility but clean. Morning scones were nice. Quick walk to the esplanade. Nice for one night.

There was an excellent quests lounge that we did not see or know about. Never did find out what he or who the scones were for in this area. Look so tasty but wasn't game to sample them.

Friendly staff. Close to bus stop to go to the city or Palm Cove. Has pool for the kids and a bbq in the yard. Internet was a bit slow in our room. Mattress was also a bit old. But overall good value for the money.

We had a wonderful holiday. Rooms are clean, generous size, beds are comfy. Special treat in the morning free coffee, juice and scones in the motel lounge. Washing machine is very handy. Great place to stay. Can recommend it. 🙏 thanks

Room looked good on first inspection, but as we had a 3yo.with us pushed the bed against the wall to prevent her falling,underbed was disgusting, had not been cleaned for a long time,so pulled out singlle to chek found diposable nappy,babies bottle an unknown pill and the same hair and dust bunnies as the other bed.Owners attitude "most people don't move the beds and you can either find somwhere else to stay(5pm on a friday night) or go outside and she will clean the room,we optedt for a cleaned room as finding other accom.would have been difficult, (warning check under the beds,once bitten twice shy.

We were helped a lot by very friendly staff at check-in, but that was basically also the only good thing about the place. Very noisy, we could hear everything from outside, other rooms and traffic noise. Room was dirty, tables sticky and overall needs a huge overhaul.

Great position but needs a good clean. I went to wipe up something on the floor on arrival with a disinfectant wipe and it was not very clean. Mould in the bathroom everywhere. Floor tile grout was disgustingly dirty. We wore shoes inside all the time.

As an older style it was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable. We had a late check in and the message sent giving us instructions was great and easy. Good on site off street parking. Would stay again.

Great old motel, comfortable and very clean but this time I had a front room facing the highway that was incredibly noisy.

Great to have some kitchen utensils and a microwave. Comfy bed and nice to have a couch

The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I would only recommend that the pots be upgraded as I was planning to cook some dinners but due to the poor condition of the pots, I was unable to cook for the family. Apart from the cooking utensils, the room was great and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I would come back and stay in Room 115 again. Thank you.

It is located on a very busy road. Poor sound proof of the building and you feel like you sleep right in the middle of the road. The people next door made loud noises till 1am. The room is relatively clean, but not coming back again for sure.

Great stay but room was very dated. Chips everywhere on tiles, stained grout in bathroom, laminate pealing off cupboard doors in bathroom. Plug for sink wrong size. Still as clean as could be achieved under the circumstances. Booking & check-in excellent.

Parking was easy access, the staff were very helpful. I'd left my phone charger behind and received a phone call 5 or 10 mins after we'd handed in the key, we were on our way to the train station to go on the Kuranda Scenic Railway trip so the lovey lady held my phone charger in the office with my name on it so I could collect it on our return. I was very grateful. Thank you 😊

My initial interactions with the property via phone were positive. The lady on reception was really helpful about after hours check in. We had a Jetstar flight cancel, so the 11pm arrival time was no longer applicable. I confirmed via phone with the acom. we would be arriving by 8pm as we were transferred to an earlier Virgin flight. At the reception desk a different lady of Asian appearance was so rude. I asked about the location of a specific car hire place. She condescendingly replied, ‘I don’t know why don’t you google it.’ Our group looked at some brochures in reception. The lady again piped up and said ‘you can look at those outside.’ We got to our room (221) and dropped our bags. Attempting to charge electronic devices, nothing seemed to be working. After we came back from dinner we checked again. It turned out the entire left side of the room had lost power. This impacted the lounge room, the kitchen (fridge, kettle, tv and microwave). It was 10:30pm so not really something we could change. In the morning, I mentioned all of the above to the man in reception. His reply, ‘you should have told us. It sounds like a circuit breaker. This happens when it rains.’ Far out. I thought when our taxi driver told us this was a dump, he was maybe being a bit picky. The location is fine. The room clean enough. The love of artificial flowers overdone. The breakfast inclusión a nice thought (scones, muffins and tea).

Some of the other guests were very noisy late at night and early morning. There are no management onsite to monitor the situation when the office is closed. It is convenient to the airport.

A handy spot to stay. Close to airport and a 25min walk to cairns water precinct on esplande. Units are old but functional and priced accordingly.

I was quite satisfied within the environment of the property. However it is located on an extremely busy highway which is noisy all through the day and night. I had a front room overlooking this highway and had difficulty sleeping. Also the property is not ideally placed if you don't have a car. It is a solid 30 minute walk to town centre, marina and the esplanade lagoon. There are takeaway food options close to the hotel.

Within walking distance of the city centre,esplanade and good local restaurants. Constant traffic noise from adjacent main road.

You should know that it's a motel, so if that's not your thing then you might want to consider other options. I think it's probably a little far away from the main hub of activity (the Marina), but dining options were good around it. The property itself is generally pretty well-maintained, though we never did get our air conditioning working (luckily we didn't need to).

Close proximity for walking into centre of city. A nice walkway along the waterfront. Enjoyed the vibe of Cairns. Tour packages worth doing.

Walking distance to city centre (around 20min) and short walk to esplenade. Bus stop very close by.

We did enjoy a very delicious Indian restaurant on the corner nearby

I had an enjoyable stay. The bed was comfortable, place was clean and quiet. The Spanish receptionist was very friendly. Added bonus was the coffee and scones for breakfast. I will stay again! Thank You! :)

I stayed here with my three year old son and found the service to be excellent with all staff being extremely helpful. The morning scones and muffins were great, as too around the clock access to milk and juice. It was only a 15 minute walk to Muddy's Playground which was a hit. Would definitely stay here again.
