We stayed for six nights and got the club access room. The Club access made the whole experience more pleasant, The people in the Club Lounge are definitely the A-Team versus other people in the hotel (The people in the main breakfast area it’s a bit disorganised). The lounge team help us to organise a tour, money exchange and they were extremely helpful, caring. We’ve visited other five star hotels during our stay for dinners, and we are glad that we stayed at the Ritz. The hotel is a bit dated, but good location and pool area tho, they club access team made the difference.

Breakfast Dinner Buffets are awesome! Pool is large and very nice. Egyptian wall reliefs are amazing. Rooms are very comfortable. Next door to Egyptian Museum. Cairo traffic is crazy and you need a trusted driver or tour guide. Cairo residents look at women tremendously so not comfortable allowing them in city alone...

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Cairo, right next to the Egyptian museum. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good facilities. They need some work on their logistics; my bags took 45 mins to get to my room, one of the restaurants was closed for a wedding and the concierge wasn’t aware?! They had 3 weddings occurring when I was there and the hotel was loud, people were smoking in the hallways and there were cigarette butts on the floor the next morning. Two out of four of their restaurants were also closed. I understand it was a busy weekend, but come on Ritz Carlton I, and likely your other guests expect better… .

Fantastic hotel with amazing nile views. Incredibly clean and courteous service from the staff. Breakfast was great and had a wide selection of foods, including Egyptian foods. The chef brought freshly made ballady bread one morning! We tried bab el sharq and the food was lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location and close to the pyramids of Giza. We look forward to returning to Nile Ritz Carlton again.

Pessimo. O pior hotel que ja fiquei na minha vida. Tudo é pessimo. Vcoê vai chegar na recepção e vai esperar por 1 hora e meia para ser atendido porque so tem um atendente na recpção para atender a 200 quartos. Não tente ligar para recpção você nunca sera atendido, o mesmo vale para o gerente de hopitabilidade. Ele fara questão de nao lhe atender. O hotel todo FEDE, FEDE a cigarro, não existe quartos de não fumantes, TODOS OS QUARTOS FEDEM. Os corredores são imundos, e como todo o hotel fede a cigarro. Os funcionarios são despreparados e hostil. É O PIOR HOTEL QUE EU JA FIQUEI NA MINHA VIDA. Os restaurantes são medíocre. Comida cara e mal preparada. E não se Preocupe, também haverá pessoas fumando nos locais de alimentação. É um chiqueiro. Nunca Mais fico em nenhum Hotel RItz na minha VIDA. PIor Experiencia da Minha vida. Fujam desse chiqueiro.

Stay was excellent start to finish. Staff was wonderful, housekeeping did an exceptional job, and the guys doing turn down service were wonderful. Location was perfect for us, quick uber to Zamalek for dinner and pretty central for the sight seeing we wanted to do here. There was a wedding the first night of our stay that was pretty loud - checking in they did mention that and gave us an option to switch to the other side of the hotel. We'd had a long day and I didn't think much of it when he mentioned it so that was on us. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Stay was excellent start to finish. Staff was wonderful, housekeeping did an exceptional job, and the guys doing turn down service were wonderful. Location was perfect for us, quick uber to Zamalek for dinner and pretty central for the sight seeing we wanted to do here. The noisiest hotel at which I ever stayed. All night long, loud noises from music at weddings at the hotel, parties at the boats on the nile, street cars, and honking. All the way till 6am!

Wait time to check in was 7-10 minutes. Rooms with city view no matter how high up will receive intolerable level of noise from hotel's own restaurant show from 9pm until 1am. Even with ear plugs, the noise was too loud. Upon complaining, was moved/upgraded to Nile side which was quieter. One night had a poolside wedding with some noise but not to level of restaurant. Aside from noise rooms are well appointed and bathrooms spacious. Staff are excellent and Wifi was best in all my stays in Egypt. Especially commend Club Floor Lounge.. a wonderful relaxing respite from the hustle of Cairo and made up for some of hotels other issues

The most comfortable bed in Egypt is here!!! We stayed in a range of hotels on our trip to Egypt, including another 5-star hotel, but this was by FAR the best bed anywhere. Plus great pillows and puffy cloud of a duvet. The bathroom was really wonderful too. And the breakfast is not to be missed! Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful.

My wife and I had an excellent anniversary trip to Cairo and the Ritz made a far away place feel just like home. We really enjoyed the lounge upgrade upon arrival, it had an excellent breakfast and we even had tea and amazing appetizers one evening as well. The hotel room was very spacious and was nicely updated with a spa-style bathroom. We found the property to be in excellent condition overall and it was also very secure with security at all entrances. There are also several restaurants options and we had a fantastic dinner at the Italian restaurant overlooking the Nile River. Every member of the staff was genuinely nice and warm towards us which was really appreciated. We’d stay at the hotel again and again going forward.

Be aware that if your room is facing the Tahrir square side you will be listening to loud Arabic music until 1:00 AM. - courtesy of their Lebanese restaurant. For me it was annoying as I couldn't sleep the first night luckily they moved me the following night to the Nile river side. Everything else was fine. The Italian restaurant was good but not great. I would have given this hotel 5 stars.

Not impressed by ritz Cairo at all We booked room with a terrace the room was not acceptable so they found us another room but city view instead of Nile view..was not soundproof we could hear the music from the restaurant until 1:15 am

This is our first trip to Cairo. When we entered the Ritz hotel for check in. It was three hours before the check in time, then we talked to the staff and they told us by three it will be ready ( our room) when we came back around 8:00 pm the staff told us it is not ready and let us waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes and because we were tired we couldn’t handle it, went and spoke to the staff and they said you can use another room until they finish our room. We were so frustrated, very tired and really need to take shower and leave after that to go to a restaurant but couldn’t even have time to take shower or change our clothes.

Pessimo. O pior hotel que ja fiquei na minha vida. Tudo é pessimo. Vcoê vai chegar na recepção e vai esperar por 1 hora e meia para ser atendido porque so tem um atendente na recpção para atender a 200 quartos. Não tente ligar para recpção você nunca sera atendido, o mesmo vale para o gerente de hopitabilidade. Ele fara questão de nao lhe atender. O hotel todo FEDE, FEDE a cigarro, não existe quartos de não fumantes, TODOS OS QUARTOS FEDEM. Os corredores são imundos, e como todo o hotel fede a cigarro. Os funcionarios são despreparados e hostil. É O PIOR HOTEL QUE EU JA FIQUEI NA MINHA VIDA. Os restaurantes são medíocre. Comida cara e mal preparada. E não se Preocupe, também haverá pessoas fumando nos locais de alimentação. É um chiqueiro. Nunca Mais fico em nenhum Hotel RItz na minha VIDA. PIor Experiencia da Minha vida. Fujam desse chiqueiro.

We stayed for six nights and got the club access room. The Club access made the whole experience more pleasant, The people in the Club Lounge are definitely the A-Team versus other people in the hotel (The people in the main breakfast area it’s a bit disorganised). The lounge team help us to organise a tour, money exchange and they were extremely helpful, caring. We’ve visited other five star hotels during our stay for dinners, and we are glad that we stayed at the Ritz. The hotel is a bit dated, but good location and pool area tho, they club access team made the difference.

Central location. The staff was wonderful, from club level to housekeeping to front desk. Note there is a casino attached that only uses USD. It can get busy around the valet area at night. The room was fantastic, and I felt safe here.

Fantastic hotel with amazing nile views. Incredibly clean and courteous service from the staff. Breakfast was great and had a wide selection of foods, including Egyptian foods. The chef brought freshly made ballady bread one morning! We tried bab el sharq and the food was lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location and close to the pyramids of Giza. We look forward to returning to Nile Ritz Carlton again.

Her name is Ayten and she really took the time to introduce us to the Hotel in detail. The Italian restaurant was great and the Lamb was cooked the right way. The view of the Nile is exceptional and so relaxing. Definitely would recommend.

The Ritz is a chain that does not disappoint! I particularly appreciated the comfort of the huge bed and relevant amazing Egyptian cotton sheets as well as the buffet, both at breakfast and during Ramadan’s iftar - excellent quality and variety, all elegantly presented.

Breakfast Dinner Buffets are awesome! Pool is large and very nice. Egyptian wall reliefs are amazing. Rooms are very comfortable. Next door to Egyptian Museum. Cairo traffic is crazy and you need a trusted driver or tour guide. Cairo residents look at women tremendously so not comfortable allowing them in city alone...

My wife and I had an excellent anniversary trip to Cairo and the Ritz made a far away place feel just like home. We really enjoyed the lounge upgrade upon arrival, it had an excellent breakfast and we even had tea and amazing appetizers one evening as well. The hotel room was very spacious and was nicely updated with a spa-style bathroom. We found the property to be in excellent condition overall and it was also very secure with security at all entrances. There are also several restaurants options and we had a fantastic dinner at the Italian restaurant overlooking the Nile River. Every member of the staff was genuinely nice and warm towards us which was really appreciated. We’d stay at the hotel again and again going forward.

La comida en el hotel es costosa con relación a los precios de otros bueno hoteles y restaurantes de El Cairo. El desayuno buffet variado, completo y delicioso. El paso casi directo hacia el Museo es otra gran ventaja.

On the night of our arrival the hotel was hosting a major wedding that went on until 2am. They put us on the side of the wedding with extremely load music. By 1am we’d had enough but reception wasn’t answer the phone so I had to march down and demand a room change. If they had told me in advance of the wedding I would have changed hotels. No apologies or attempt to recover this poor service. After I wrote an email of complaint they eventually offered me the equipment of 20% the cost of the night in Bonvoy points. I’m rejecting this offer and taking it up with Marriot International.
