Cambridge Quy Mill Hotel & Spa

Etwas abseits der Straße gelegenes Hotel. Netter Empfang. Enges Treppenhaus ohne Fahrstuhl, aber wir bekamen sofort Hilfe beim Hinauftragen des Gepäcks. Unser Zimmer war nett eingerichtet und sauber, das Bad mit Dusche war OK. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt.

The hotel itself was good. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and had a comfortable bed and a large shower. Breakfast was cooked to order with plenty of choice. The reason I have rated this 3 stars is down to the gym and spa. On both days of our stay it did not open on time and only because hotel guests and members complained did somebody turn up to open up. From talking to members this seems to be a regular occurrence and something that the management need to look into as a matter of urgency. It has impacted on my rating and I am sure it will either other guests.

Breakfast was very good

Hotel, staff, breakfast and room all good. One disappointing point is that parking is extra and paid daily by an app. I forgot to renew for 2nd day so am expecting a ticket which is annoying as there is no alternative parking.

Greatly In need of a refurbishment of bedrooms. But main restaurant is good for dinner, and senior staff good, position and stare good, pity the rooms needs some TLC and some work on sound proofing.
