We would not recommend this hotel. It seems out of date and feels like it has been a while since someone invested money in it. Our suite was very cold, there was mold in the bathroom. The international breakfast was not worth the money. The pool was alright for the kids to splash in, but the pool times were strict (9 am to 5:30 pm).

Great location with good scenery. Staff are both attentive and friendly. Place is a bit old, should consider cleaning the patio by the restaurant as it was dirty and slippery. We availed the breakfast and it was very good. I’ll recommend this place for anyone who considers it.

Loved the comfortable bed, basement parking, heated pool, gym facilities and the water dispensers located on each floor. Location is good too as it's within walking distance to Kea Farm. Many thanks to the kind and hospitable staff, they were so pleasant from check-in till check-out!

I just want to inform you that the information that was available in Expedia was not the same . For example you mentioned that the swimming pool is available however it was not. Also you mentioned spa is available but it was not. Even though in general the lace was nice and the trip is amazing.

L’emplacement était top, proche du marché kea Farm. Proche en voiture de la plantation boh. L’hôtel est très vétuste, la photo de la piscine ne la représente pas vraiment . Prévoir maillot bain une pièce pour les femmes. Le personnel fait la gueule, hôtel d’une tristesse ! Le dîner au resto prévoit de dîner dans le hall de l’hôtel mais pas dans la salle de restaurant. Il faudrait tout rafraîchir. C’est dommage cela devait être un très bel hôtel à une certaine époque

Nous avons sejourné 1 nuit, nous avons eu l agreable surprisd d etre surclassé avec une suite au lieu d' une chambre, immense! La chambre etait propre et la literie très bien. Le petit dejeuner est tres variés, avec du sucré et du salé! La salle de sport est tres bien aussi, seul vrai point noir, la piscine qui avait l air pas mal et chauffée...mais qui ferme a 17h30, en gros l'heure où l'on arrive dans les hotels...

Cameron Highlands is good value for family vacation, but avoid Copthorne Hotel. Poorly maintained with closed restaurants and bar. Staff is unwelcoming and not interested in assisting clients. The only pleasant surprise was the recreational staff (Nora) who took us on a very nice hike 2-hour straight from the hotel.

Sadly, this wasn't a property we enjoyed staying at. Our first apartment was very smelly. This was due to all damp. The second was a little better but still not up to standards of a 2 star property let alone 4 star. We didn't stay in the main block and I think that may have been better. The local tourists seemed very pleased with everything. Perhaps it's our British expectations. I hate leaving negative reviews but I would not recommend this hotel unless it has a serious clean and upgrade. Breakfast was poor. The pool was very basic.

The hotel enjoys a great location, just a short walking distance from Kea Farm Market, which makes it convenient for morning strolls and easy access to local produce and snacks. The surrounding area is vibrant and lively, especially during the day, offering a true feel of the Cameron Highlands experience. However, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. Upon check-in, we noticed that the mugs in our room had visible stains, which was quite disappointing. Even after housekeeping came the next day, the stained mugs were not replaced or cleaned, indicating a lack of attention to basic hygiene and room upkeep. For the price paid, we had hoped for a higher standard of cleanliness and service. Overall, while the location is definitely a plus, the hotel needs to significantly improve its cleanliness and housekeeping standards to ensure a more comfortable and pleasant stay for guests.

The apartment is very old. The master bedroom has not hot water, the pillows are moldy inside and there are hairs under the blanket. No slippers in room. Other amenities are rusty and old. Dishes and cups are all dirty. Food is cheap but it just tastes ok, not very good. This is the first time I saw a hotel using ticket counter to check-in which made me feel like I was in a hospital waiting for my turn, no hospitality at all. At 5AM, there was some loud music waking my parents up, no sound proof at all. Cleanliness is the worst.

Allocated rooms 1025 and 1026. Both are dirty with fungal rotten toilet door, fungal bath flooring, stained walls and fungus lodged underside wash basin. Shameless hotel with terrible housekeeping. Would avoid this hotel with extreme prejudice. Expedia should go audit this hotel.

The property is older and has mould and bugs which are hard to ignore. We liked having the fridge, kettle and large space but the fridge was not cleaned well and I feared setting things down on the bottom. Our room was at the end of the building (quieter) but the wifi did not reach to connect. We had suggested drivers from the hotel cancel on us and little help from the front desk on options. The location is good for walking to certain destinations, but it also feels far at the same time. We would try another place next time.

We requested to view the rooms before allocating to us. They show us the room and before we accept the room, they blocked the room and told us that it’s not available the next day onwards. The next day, we saw the room which we wanted was allocated to another tourist. My personal option was the rooms should be allocated based on first come first serve basics. The room we stayed required refurnishment.

This hotel is very run down-we booked a Premium Deluxe room, and other than being large it didn’t meet basic standards. Everything was worn and very dusty. Walls were thin and neighbors noisy. Plumbing also had issues-bathtub filled with water during shower -Maintenance could not fix. Also very loud knocking noise at all hours from the water pipes. Carpet worn and dirty, given a larger room when I complained but no better. 2nd room was missing a desk lamp-we called and asked so many times as we needed the light to work at night - we were promised many times-it finally came on day 3! The location is problematic as the market causes massive traffic jams both ways all day-coming back from either side took 1-2 hours each day when it should have been 15 minutes. We tried to leave early it was so bad, but we’re told cancellations needed to be done 7 days in advance (Expedia said midnight of day before). It is rare for me to write a bad review, but unfortunately in this case I have no choice but to be honest.

This has got to be one of the most dated hotels I’ve stayed in. The carpets were dirty and moldy, the curtains were stained and our bathroom smelled like smoke. We had to move rooms but both were just terrible. The staff were okay but not overly friendly, but I’m just in shock with the state of the property. I would absolutely never stay here again!

The towel was not provided in the room. When asked for the towel, it tooks 7 times calling to resolves the issues. The answer given the towel is in the room but the the reality it was not. The property is very dated and somewhat run down with limited options all round. Sadly the area in general was not what we expected, heavily littered and spoiled by aggressive polytunnel farming and mining. Not the hotels fault of course but perhaps the reason for underinvestment in maintenance. We checked out early.

So dirty - it was honestly the most disgusting and dirty hotel I’ve ever been to. The hotel room had stains everywhere. Stains on the bed linen, bed sheets and stains on the towels. I don’t think they wash the bed linnen or the towels between guests. When we told the reception, they did not seem to care - we had to wait for room cleaning to open before we could have clean towels?! There were also stains on the curtains, the sofa, the carpets, the bed frame and the bathroom was not clean either. Our bodies were itchy after sleeping in the bed - it probably had bed bugs. The night tables had old crumbs on them when we arrived. The windows don’t close completely. The room constantly smelt like mold. Furthermore, the hotel was so run down and old and worn. The breakfast buffet was straight up disgusting. The cutlery was dirty, plates were dirty, the food was absolutely disgusting. We only ate fruit - which tasted old. I have absolutely no idea, how this hotel is 4 stars. I have been to 2 stars hotels, which were better and more clean. We checked after 2 nights, because the dirt was too much and the food was so bad.

The checkin process is terrible.. The checkin time given was 2:30 PM. We reached the hotel by 3:30 PM.. We need to get a token to go to the reception desk.. There was a waiting time of about 50 mins just to reach the reception desk for checkin. After so much wait, when reached checkin desk - they simply told - Room is not ready.. Howcome, when the checkin time in 2:30 PM, even at 4:30 PM the room is not ready. (We even paid 100% payment in advance) The wait area is also jam-packed. When coming with the kids & infant - it super uncomfortable after a long travel. Adding to that - it the feedback that Room is not ready, and we were asked to wait for another 30 mins. Finally got the room key by around 5:30 PM. When we went to the room - no towels, toiletries were kept inside. There is no direct calling facility to the room-service. We need to send a Whatsapp message, and they will revert.. Overall, for the size of the hotel & the fare they charge - the prompt service needs a lot of improvement. Also, please improve the Breakfast dining area. No space to sit on Sunday morning due to crowd. Please make space for more people to eat peacefully, rather searching for tables.
