Booked for four nights and left after two! Rooms are nothing like the pictures. Serious neglect. Water heater broke on day two so was not able to shower and that was when we decided to just leave despite paying for two more nights. Bed was falling apart and like sleeping on the floor. Parking was down a narrow alley and limited to 7 vehicles.

The hotel was the worst i have ever stayed in, its was non smoking but it stank of smoke in the corridor which drifted into our room and i mean a lot of smoke, we paid an extra £10 for late check out but the maid opened the door twice to clean the room. The room had no lock on the door, the bed was half made, I had to fix the mattress cover and make the bed sheet fit. Carpark had space for 6 cars but hotel had over 20 rooms, we ended up having to pay for parking.

Property could do with a makeover, however, great location, we managed to get parking at the hotel and the room had clean sheets on the bed, it was warm and had a good shower. Good for a cheap 1 night stay if you’re only planning to sleep and then head out.

The staff were extremely helpful and the bathroom was clean. We paid an exorbitant amount for a room which was beyond shabby in a hotel which was in a worse condition than the room. There had been a problem with our booking and the staff were extremely helpful sorting our accommodation out, that was the highlight of the trip. The carpets in the corridors were filthy, with a number of stains of unknown origin. The room was small with peeling paint around the windows and a slightly cleaner carpet than the hallway. We go to a lot of hotels due to our work and this is not the worst place we have stayed at, it's the second worst.

On check-in we were required to hand over our driving licence which they photocopied. When we questioned this we were told it was for health and safety reasons and if we didn’t allow them to do this we couldn’t stay. There is no reason to do this and I worry about identity fraud…. Rooms were run down and dirty with filthy carpet, torn shower mat and ripped mattress. Photos don’t match the rooms. Would not recommend.

The room smelled like an old people’s home, the carpet and interior were extremely dated, the ceiling had damp damaged, the bathroom smelled like it had been doused in cheap bleach and I’m not too sure the bed was even clean. I couldn’t have complained if it were a cheap room but it was way overpriced

Stayed in early May. We had room 15 street level at the front. Plenty of space, more like a suite with a sofa and TV at one end and 2 single beds at the other with another TV. There was a fridge and tea and coffee. Bathroom looked to have recently been tidied up but the rest of the room needs refreshing. There were no real mattresses, only pieces of foam cut to shape. Probably would not stay here again.

Quite shabby but well worth the price. Location was central enough although in a somewhat rough location. Parking included. Staff very kind. Shower was weak and with a clogged drain. Beds were 190 cm and with headboards they didn’t fit me (6ft3).

The room was spacious, it was great to have 3 single beds but the carpet was filthy. It could do with being cleaned. The floor boards also need some attention. Every time someone walked on the floor above, it was extremely noisy. The staff were wonderful, they couldn’t have been more helpful.

It's a basic hotel 3 star hotel Room is ensuite with a tv but the signal is mainly poor, kettle, sachets for hot drinks and a fridge. The bed is basic but have to say very comfortable so top marks for that. Shower unit is a cubicle its small but functional with soap provided. Price reflects the room. I'd stay again.

No frills hotel in centre of town. Pretty clean and had tv, coffee , fridge and microwave . One okay pillow, the other very lumpy . Had a small room which was hot but had a fan. It was fairly clean but the place is so run down . Give it a 2 star hotel
