The outside of this building leaves a lot to be desired. The car park is littered with rubbish and building materials. Once inside the staff were nice. The room itself was spacious and seemed clean. The bathroom area is dated however the sanitary items are a nice touch. Anytime someone used a tap in there room a very loud boiler fired up and was pretty loud. This was constant through the night. Breakfast seemed very expensive so we opted against it.

The room was large and everything looked dated. Unfortunately for us the air conditioning wasn’t working and hasn’t been for months but it was the hottest weekend this year and the room felt like an oven and stayed so the three days we were there. We hardly got a wink of sleep. The bathroom was shabby and had long black hairs on the floor which were still there 3 days later. When the toilet rolls ran out we got a pile of tissues left for us to use. The towels were ragged at the ends. The breakfast was adequate but we didn’t see a member of staff at all this morning, and nothing was topped up. The dining room was shabby and had had a leak at sometime in the ceiling and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. There was no one on the reception desk when we left so didn’t see a member of staff all morning. We won’t be going back I’m sure.

This hotel is in a quiet location with plenty of free parking. The staff are very pleasant and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The building looks a bit tired but this hardly matters and it’s very good value overall.

The property was very dated, could not turn on the air conditioning （the whole hotel, for some reasons). We had to open the window as no air, too noisy outside near the main road. And the isollation is bad, can hear next door's TV and talking!

This place is literally two mins off the M5 and 10 min drive into Cheltenham so ideally located for business and tourists users. However, i selected on price which in fairness at under £60 was great value for midweek and a gym. The gym was awful though, very poor, basic equipment (running machine broke and tv did not work). In summary if you want a basic, cheap hotel very close to the motorway its fine. If you want a little more luxury with a good onsite facilities dont bother.

First impressions upon arriving poor. Untidy externally, slates missing from roofs. Reception not manned. Lift not working. Air conditioning not working. The carpets in the room was stained. The mattress protector was stained. Worse than that the shower would not run hot. Someone came and said to run the basin tap for 30 seconds then the shower would run hot. This worked but the shower couldn't be adjusted to a comfortable temperature, either freezing cold or scalding hot. Requested a room change was told the "hotel was full" So packed up and moved to the Travelodge up the road

Just awful, I don't know how it has a good rating. Dirty, sticky furniture, everything in room dated, grubby and or broken, not even my kettle worked. Sticky and dirty floor. Filthy bathroom, debris and hair in sink and bath. Not convinced bedding had been changed, make up on the bottom pillows. How old are the pictures you use, this is criminal

Location and access is excellent. The staff, as ever, were superb and attentive to our needs. Bedroom was sparklingly clean and the bed very comfortable. However, room was very hot and air-conditioning not working (showing Error 004) and the stand-alone heater/fan rather flimsy and very noisy. Also the bathroom was looking a bit tired. But our needs were met and we would stay there again if in the area.

……well ……….. The room had so much dust on ALL surfaces , that we had to clean them before unpacking . The bathroom ceiling had a large water mark and was leaking through the roof intermittently . The plug mechanism in the bath didn’t work . The mattresses were old and stained , the floor was randomly hoovered by the looks of it . The room had no kettle , even though it had cups and a supplies .

I didn’t really experience this property as I stayed for only one night having just arrived from Australia that morning. I was very tired, so didn’t even look around the hotel at the facilities. That being said, our room was nice and tidy, although other guests were quite noisy throughout the night, it almost sounded like lots of people were coming and going all night.

Very much a 3 star at best. As mentioned by others the grounds and general first impression from the outside is poor. The reception is nice enough as is the bar area but in between there are signs of worn out carpet. A pint of Madri is £6.75 (£5.60 with guest discount). We considered an ice bucket for a bottle of wine but they had ran out of buckets. In the room there isn't any fridge which was a disappointment - compounding the ice bucket problem. Very few power sockets of which none were by the bed. The bed was marked down one side and the pillows are very thin - definitely request extra in advance. The king size bed was quite comfortable. The bath and shower was good but the extendable magnifying mirror was missing a key part - the mirror! And no plug for the sink. The bedroom door needed a bit of a slam to close. The main plus point was the tv and its entertainment package - a cautionary note that any login details for Prime, Netflix etc are left usable by the next guest. Overall the hotel was ok but we said we'd probably not return.

The curb appeal isn’t great as you pull into the car park but once you walk through the doors, the hotel is pleasant. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and clean, though again a little bit dated. The bathroom had a very loud extractor/buzz that continued through the night even with all lights off. It was quietened by keeping the bathroom door closed but still noticeable. I showered at 6.15am and had warm water, but when my husband got in the shower around 6.30-6.35 there was no hot water in the shower or the sink. Not great!!! We didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to offer a review of the food and drink. Check out was also very simple.

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. A very tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Room very quiet had a great night's sleep. Convenient for visiting surrounding areas.

Location and access is excellent. The staff, as ever, were superb and attentive to our needs. Bedroom was sparklingly clean and the bed very comfortable. However, room was very hot and air-conditioning not working (showing Error 004) and the stand-alone heater/fan rather flimsy and very noisy. Also the bathroom was looking a bit tired. But our needs were met and we would stay there again if in the area.

Chain hotel everything was good except checkout. I had an early start so was checking out at 5.30 there was no one on the front desk called the number told to leave the key on the front desk. I expect a hotel of this size to have someone there not someone sound like I have woken them up.

In the Room- Wall Heater Not working - Shower not keeping a steady heat - bath plug part missing so didn't retain water - same with the wash bowl - No hair dryer -only 3 coat hangers in the wardrobe Breakfast - Greeted politely - No coffee - full English breakfast cooked to order very good - second morning greeted by another person but after showing us to some hot plates to help ourselves to the full English, he was on his mobile phone most of the time we were there, the food very luke warm - the tables where dirty pots cleared away - no clean cutlery -had to get the staff person off his phone to get us some clean cutlery - he went straight back on his phone - as we left he had still not cleared the pots off the tables

First impressions upon arriving poor. Untidy externally, slates missing from roofs. Reception not manned. Lift not working. Air conditioning not working. Room itself ok BUT, no hot water in the morning at 5.50am in basin or shower. First time EVER. I have stayed in a hotel with no hot water. Would I stay again; no.

Extremely convenient location for visititing Gloucester and Cheltenham. Very spacious well equipped rooms. Great pillows and bedlinen. Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Excellent experience. Will return. Only negative is the room didn’t have a fridge.

This hotel is in a quiet location with plenty of free parking. The staff are very pleasant and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The building looks a bit tired but this hardly matters and it’s very good value overall.

The property was very dated, could not turn on the air conditioning （the whole hotel, for some reasons). We had to open the window as no air, too noisy outside near the main road. And the isollation is bad, can hear next door's TV and talking!

This place is literally two mins off the M5 and 10 min drive into Cheltenham so ideally located for business and tourists users. However, i selected on price which in fairness at under £60 was great value for midweek and a gym. The gym was awful though, very poor, basic equipment (running machine broke and tv did not work). In summary if you want a basic, cheap hotel very close to the motorway its fine. If you want a little more luxury with a good onsite facilities dont bother.

Room was cold on arrival there was a small electric heater which I put on. No information in the room about dining or room service so it seemed there was no food on offer. Advised breakfast was 7:00-10:00.Arrived for breakfast at 7:15 no hot breakfast buffet out. Got a cup of tea and some toast.2 people arrived around 7:30..seemed that one was a new staff member being shown around.I was then asked if I wanted a cooked breakfast..no menu..no choice.A cooked breakfast came out much of which was inedible.It seemed like the bacon was yesterdays and reheated as it was like cardboard, a pile of mushrooms which were soggy and black and a ramekin of baked beans with skin on the top. Would not return or recommend.

Allowed us to check in earlier, which we appreciated. Evening meals were excellent, very large portions. However, breakfast on the first day was poor as the hot food wasn't being replenished, better on the 2nd morning. We didn't have our room serviced, which was disappointing.

Room was ok, acceptable to sleep in. The shower was terrible. The head was too close to the wall and the water pressure was rubbish I would have to lean against the wall to get wet! The buffet breakfast was cold. Fruit was average, and the crossiants were stale. Would not stay here again!

You get what you pay for at the end of the day. No one on reception when we arrived. She did turn up eventually. Had dinner in bar at ,8.45 pm and we were only ones there. 4 members of staff behind bar. One was polite. Rest were on their phones. Building is tired and dated. There's a sign in room saying building is being renovated but I feelthis should be flagged when booking. Air con out of action Big black hair in the bed. Bathroom dated. Food was good and nicely presented. We were only people in breakfast room. Orange juice is awful ......sweet and watery but breakfast was ok. Convenient for M5. Like I said you get what you pay for 😬

The staff were excellent and we had a good meal in the evening the general area had obviously been updated but the bedroom's were quite dated the air con didn't work and the room was very hot We were a family group staying in the area for a wedding our TV was fine but in some rooms it didn't work and wi fi was hit and miss. All in all it was an ok stay for a couple of nights but I wouldn't want to stay any longer

Not as bad as some of the reviews, room is a little tired, some things need replacing, like toilet roll holder and door handles, but staff are very friendly and helpful, I slept well, didn’t eat there as there was a wake on, and didn’t want to hang around , give this 8/10
