It was a horrible experience from the start - comms were so bad that they held us for 45 min to get visa details , they upsell villa and the place lacked cleanliness , bathroom drain did not work , bugs all over the room , swimming pool was dirty , I hardly believe it is reported as 5 star -

Beautiful resort perfect for relaxing after a week of business meetings. The staff was accommodating and lovely within all aspects of service. The food was 3-star quality but plenty of options and a willingness to assist on special requests. Highly recommend resort spa options and a walk around the grounds. Beach is quiet and the lifeguard and other amenities are well worth a nap on the chairs under shaded umbrellas. Would recommend!

Amazing beach front property with a very quiet beach with absolutely no crowd. The cottages were sea facing and very comfortable. Shower was luxurious. Room service was excellent. Just a short walk to the beach. Staff use a golf cart to transport people around the property. Food was fantastic both dinner and a breakfast buffet. Coffee was too milky for our likes. There was always a lifeguard or staff present when we were swimming in the beach!

Location and amenities awesome and you must spend 2 nights here to fully explore the resort and have a bit of fun. Beach area is awesome too and bay view restaurant is a good place to dine in too, but dining in during the day time rather than night would be better! I would recommend to my family and friends for sure!

This is a great resort property but lacks several amenities. Love the beach and great tasty food. BUT, For the price you pay, it lacks this: There is hardly much outdoor/indoor sports (tennis, volleyball, beach ball etc etc). No water sports. They have a small kids gaming room but lacks much entertainment for kids of various ages. They need to upgrade. Even their bicycles are broken and need repair. Only few are offered for guest. Resort lacks service. Staff is not friendly. Inside Seagull restaurant, service is slow and staff not friendly. There is also lack of staffing to cater all the guests in a very big resort. No evening entertainment. It’s kinda boring. Just enjoy the sea breeze. Bayview restaurant staff were not friendly. They just want you to order food and get out. You cannot even enjoy the food by the sea. Overall, I would give it a 3 star resort as it lacks several amenities.

I had stayed at a supposedly renovated Garden Block ground floor room on 22 Nov 2023. Despite the renovation, the bathroom was in terrible condition. The toilet flush did not work properly and while having a shower I was standing ankle deep in soapy water since it was not properly draining. The auto-close function of the main door was barely working and I had to pull it shut each time to ensure it was locked. The door did not look as though it had been polished during the renovation and even looked chipped in one place. My neighbour's room door camera faceplate was hanging from its base unit. The furniture in the coffee shop had damaged and peeling woodwork and the upholstery was stained and faded. I have been a guest at Fisherman's Cove for many years and they have to get their act together if I have to go back again.

Taj Fisherman ligger smukt ud til vandet med en fantastisk have. Desværre er stedet så småt begyndt at vise tegn på at have eksisteret et stykke tid med dertilhørende wear and tear. Dertil er det mere et "standardhotel" i vestlige øjne end andre tilsvarende hoteller i Indien, der i højere grad yder en ekstra opmærksom fx i form af blomster på værelset o.lign.

You will feel bad writing some of the reviews, as you always felt part of the brand, family... This is one such review. Taj has been the epitome of services and the last 25 odd years I have been traveling to diff Taj properties. The idea was to have a family get together and for the price we had paid, we had great expectations. Turned out to be disappointment. While staff were courteous with signature Taj service, some areas were far below expectations. The food was without soul. As a chef and adored Taj for years, the food lacked any innovation, surprise, or passion. You could predict what the lunch and dinner menu will be after one look at breakfast and vice versa. Whiie the staff were good the food was a major disappointment. The wait time for any room service ( had aged parents) was 40 odd minutes or more.The property was how I had seen 20 years ago, lacking the newness be it technology or the construction.The room didn't have enough towels, the water leakage/seeping in the open shower, very poor lighting making it difficult to look for rooms in the night. The spa service was good and so was the staff.The staff felt overworked and stressed out and tired though they tried to put a brave front. We all have learned from Taj service/food/ so much and would go down as one of the below expectations property as far as Taj Is concerned.Tried speaking to the Exec chef and the General manager. The chef was busy while I was talking and not sure whether he got it.Not worth the price

This is the second time that I’ve come to this hotel after having surgery in Chennai. The staff here is amazing, it is dog friendly, so I get to see dogs around the property, the rooms are very nice and contemporary, the food here is really amazing. When I’m back in the area, I’m definitely coming back!!!!

It was a horrible experience from the start - comms were so bad that they held us for 45 min to get visa details , they upsell villa and the place lacked cleanliness , bathroom drain did not work , bugs all over the room , swimming pool was dirty , I hardly believe it is reported as 5 star -

This is a great resort property but lacks several amenities. Love the beach and great tasty food. BUT, For the price you pay, it lacks this: There is hardly much outdoor/indoor sports (tennis, volleyball, beach ball etc etc). No water sports. They have a small kids gaming room but lacks much entertainment for kids of various ages. They need to upgrade. Even their bicycles are broken and need repair. Only few are offered for guest. Resort lacks service. Staff is not friendly. Inside Seagull restaurant, service is slow and staff not friendly. There is also lack of staffing to cater all the guests in a very big resort. No evening entertainment. It’s kinda boring. Just enjoy the sea breeze. Bayview restaurant staff were not friendly. They just want you to order food and get out. You cannot even enjoy the food by the sea. Overall, I would give it a 3 star resort as it lacks several amenities.

Amazing beach front property with a very quiet beach with absolutely no crowd. The cottages were sea facing and very comfortable. Shower was luxurious. Room service was excellent. Just a short walk to the beach. Staff use a golf cart to transport people around the property. Food was fantastic both dinner and a breakfast buffet. Coffee was too milky for our likes. There was always a lifeguard or staff present when we were swimming in the beach!

Beach area is awesome too and bay view restaurant is a good place to dine in too, but dining in during the day time rather than night would be better! You will feel bad writing some of the reviews, as you always felt part of the brand, family... This is one such review. Taj has been the epitome of services and the last 25 odd years I have been traveling to diff Taj properties. The idea was to have a family get together and for the price we had paid, we had great expectations. Turned out to be disappointment. While staff were courteous with signature Taj service, some areas were far below expectations. The food was without soul. As a chef and adored Taj for years, the food lacked any innovation, surprise, or passion. You could predict what the lunch and dinner menu will be after one look at breakfast and vice versa. Whiie the staff were good the food was a major disappointment. The wait time for any room service ( had aged parents) was 40 odd minutes or more.The property was how I had seen 20 years ago, lacking the newness be it technology or the construction.The room didn't have enough towels, the water leakage/seeping in the open shower, very poor lighting making it difficult to look for rooms in the night. The spa service was good and so was the staff.The staff felt overworked and stressed out and tired though they tried to put a brave front. We all have learned from Taj service/food/ so much and would go down as one of the below expectations property as far as Taj Is concerned.Tried speaking to the Exec chef and the General manager. The chef was busy while I was talking and not sure whether he got it.Not worth the price

I stayed in a deluxe room. It was neat and clean. Had a small desk setup, which was useful for my work. Size was average. Will be difficult to accommodate additional cot for child. Restroom was clean. Bathtub was luxury add. Toothbrush, paste, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer. But no shaving kit. Had balcony, but it is not private. The partition has open design through which you can see neighbours balcony. Inroom minibar items and snacks are way too expensive. Room service menu way way too expensive, five star price. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. Well maintained pool. Beach was clean and had spaces to lie down and relax. They free buggy service to move around inside the property. Parking space was small, valet parking, car was parked under hot sun. Overall good experience, but expensive stay Not sure if it is worth the money we pay. I suggest you look for a better deal and book.
