I really enjoyed this small hotel. Excellent communication pre-arrival, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic. Located just a quick 5 min walk from the ferry with multiple restaurants close by. This property does not have a pool, which was fine for us

They have staff on 24hrs a day. The 2 room suites include kitchenette with fridge, small stove, plates & utensils. All rooms come with a programable safe to keep valuables in. Very quiet and peaceful. Having a free breakfast included is very nice. located centrally and very close to ferry terminal. This was my second stay at the property. Rates are very reasonable!

The staff was kind and the location is good. But there is no mini fridge in the room (which is really helpful if youre traveling with a toddler, like we were) and the breakfast is exactly the same every morning.

Location is great and staffs are wonderful. Breakfast is great. But amenities were out dated, fridge is leaking, no microwave. Staff are very accommodating, but hotel really needs renovation. Hotel was very accommodating letting us check out earlier due to the travel plan change and agreed not to charge the unused days. But Expedia did not process refund until this minute, making excuse that Hotel did not approved it which was obviously a lie. So disappointing about Expedia US travel team!

The scores are not reflecting the condition of the rooms. The air condition was not strong enough to dry up the humidity in the room. I cleaned the filter of the air condition that accumulated thick dust. There was a kitchen but no cooking pots, only a small fry pan. We Asians need to drink boiled water and it was almost impossible.

Property is old but in very good condition and clean. It's pretty no-frills but comfortable. I had a problem on the last day with my door lock, but the staff was friendly and helpful basically dismantling the door so I could get my stuff.

While the hotel is situated in an excellent area right at the main shopping district with plenty of restaurants nearby, the room was clean and staff very friendly BUT the rooms are musky from mildew or mold and irritate your throat and sinuses. Even running the AC does not help because this is where most of it develops along with the wood inside. The lobby is nice, but rooms need upgraded. I have stayed many other places in Cozumel and even lived here for 2 years. I advise Casa Mexicana or Hotel Puerto Libre as better options for similar price. Price is to high for what you get. Also the continental breakfast was only slices of bread, jam, and a little fruit. Excellent location for walking.

For a economical and convenient place to stay, you can't beat Suites Colonial. While the property is a little dated (aka 'charm'), the rooms are very clean and well appointed. Slept like a rock in the comfortable bed. Water pressure is a little low in the shower so easy on the shampoo.

Nice and clean hotel with reasonable price. Great location. Breakfast was a low-ball. Went there for the first morning. It was a toast with butter, scambled eggs with ham and coffee/tea/water. I asked for the eggs without meat but they said it was not possible. Not even juice. Didnt bother going there other mornings. Tuesday night the bar right next to the hotel started playin live music at 22:30. We woke up to this, not even earplugs helped it was so loud. Music was played until around 1-2am. This was upsetting since we had early morning wake up for the next day. Overall nice but I would consider coming here because of the loud music.

Colonial suites is a great location! Lots of great restaurants in the immediate area, and a short walk to the pier for diving. Staff was very professional and friendly. I had a small issue, that was taken care of immediately. Breakfast of coffee, fruit and yogurt, toast, eggs, and refried beans was served on the premises. Very efficient, and again the staff was great.

Suites colonial is an amazing hotel that raises the bar 👍 booked wrong dates accidently thanks to expedia's bad ui, immediately called expedia - they were very unhelpful and said 'not my problem'. The hotel however accommodated us. This is the only hotel I'll stay in cozumel. 5 stars. But expedia gets 2 star. Do better

Where do I even begin, Suites Colonial exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The staff was amazing, as well as helpful and courteous. Shout out to Beatrice and Luisa for helping and accommodating us in every way. Me and my cousin are truly grateful and we are looking forward to booking with Suites Colonial in the near future. Colonial suites is a great location! Lots of great restaurants in the immediate area, and a short walk to the pier for diving. Staff was very professional and friendly. I had a small issue, that was taken care of immediately. Breakfast of coffee, fruit and yogurt, toast, eggs, and refried beans was served on the premises. Very efficient, and again the staff was great.

We were only in Cozumel for one night so it was perfect for us. Located right on the square we could have easily walked to it if we had known our way around. It’s close to the ferry and the ocean. Lots of local shops and restaurant options within walking distance. The hotel is cute, clean, & comfortable. It is an older property but suited us well for the night. Check in was fast and we were able to have a late check out and room upgrade with our Expedia VIP benefits. The waitress at breakfast was super sweet and took great care of us. Service with a smile is always appreciated! Breakfast was simple but cooked to order and fresh. Would stay here again!

Nice and clean hotel with reasonable price. Great location. Breakfast was a low-ball. Went there for the first morning. It was a toast with butter, scambled eggs with ham and coffee/tea/water. I asked for the eggs without meat but they said it was not possible. Not even juice. Didnt bother going there other mornings. Tuesday night the bar right next to the hotel started playin live music at 22:30. We woke up to this, not even earplugs helped it was so loud. Music was played until around 1-2am. This was upsetting since we had early morning wake up for the next day. Overall nice but I would consider coming here because of the loud music.

The staff was kind and the location is good. But there is no mini fridge in the room (which is really helpful if youre traveling with a toddler, like we were) and the breakfast is exactly the same every morning.

The other reviews are correct. It’s a simple but large condo with a bedroom, kitchen, sitting room and table area. Immaculately clean. Very good breakfast. Situated in the heart of downtown. Will absolutely stay again!

Waiting on manager’s approval for a refund since we left immediately after seeing our room. Happy to remove this review once I receive a refund. This property is falsely advertised and is in terrible condition. You can smell the mustiness before walking inside. We were harassed the entire walk to the hotel, and it made us feel unsafe. The front desk lady did not know how to explain where the pool was. She also said we would have to pay a lot extra for a room upgrade, even though their price sheet did not match the upcharge. The room itself felt like a dungeon. We arrived on a sunny afternoon, but our room had no natural light. It was dark, depressing, and poorly maintained. There was a large burn mark on the ceiling and mold in the fridge. There are countless attempted repairs on the stucco, but you can still see that the building is falling apart. This hotel is the antithesis of what a beach vacation in Mexico should look and feel like.
