Comfortable room. Dined in restaurant . Turned out a number of menu items were not available.

The unit was comfortable and the view was good. The heating could have been better, and I was disapointed that the restaurant was closed.

Friendly staff. Easy parking and close to town. Nice restaurant.

The property was nice and clean. The Only thing we were disappointed was no service for breakfast as mentioned to be provided. The restaurant was closed due to holidays season. But the holidays season is the time people travel.

The staff were great. Rooms and restaurant need updating. On our final morning we had no hot water. There was an elderly gentleman in the room next to us who smoked right outside our bathroom window and left his ashtray there so beware if you get room 12.

Had a great stay at Mountain View Country Inn. Check-in was easy and hassle-free, the staff were very friendly, and the room was clean, cosy, and comfortable. A really pleasant place to stay. If you’re in Deloraine, I’d definitely recommend this motel.

Room was good, clean, I liked the amount of tea bags and milk available also the soap and shampoo in the bigger containers was great too, awesome views

Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room with one double and 1 single bed. There was a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities as well as a small supply of plates, bowls and cutlery so you could have a meal in your room. The room was very cold. There is no air conditioning, only a small wall heater which was fighting a losing battle with the cold. We all slept fully clothed wearing 2 pairs of socks and still struggled to warm up. The beds were very uncomfortable, which was a shame as bed was the only warm place. I thought maybe it was just my old body being difficult but my teen daughter woke complaining about her bed as well. Overall an OK place to spend a night.

Our room was the 2 bedroom family unit, it was very roomy, the kitchen was bigger than mine, the bedrooms were big and well appointed, there was an outside patio and lovely back yard fully fenced. we could not fault anything and having a good restaurant on site was very welcome.

Overall enjoyed stay and room was comfy, but disappointed that paid premium for the spa room only to discover on entering room it was out of order, and had been for sometime I would suggest. A prior warning or a discount would have been nice.

Great location and well equipped for cooking. Spacious living area but the apartment configuration was not optimal. Great view from main bedroom but had to walk through the second bedroom to enter the apartment and access the bathroom. Grass area off main bedroom could be developed to make the most of the view. Overall, good value for money.

The restaurant food was nice but portions were a little small for the price. I would suggest updating away from the Settler’s theme to suit the asian food The bed was comfy and the position is very convenient. Being surprised by “housekeeping” coming into the room at 9 am when checkout is 10 was a surprise

On arrival asked if we want to pay $20 more for family room. No thanks! Room was cold. Didn’t welcome us by preheating room. Heater small and took ages to heat room. Outdated with scratched furniture. Crammed 1 queen & 1 single bed into room which left no space for luggage or 3 people to sit. No cooking was allowed in room. If we wanted microwave, had to go to the laundry. Tiny bar fridge with thimble size UHT milks. The motel is 10min from Tasmania’s best dairy.How about showing off local produce? The electric blanket on the single bed didn’t work. No powerpoint on one side of the queen bed, so the electric blanket on that side couldn’t be plugged in. Asked reception for extension cord, but was given a powerboard so powercord stretched across the head of our bed- dangerous and fire hazard. Not very secure rooms. Basic key that can be copied, and there is a hatch from the outside that leads to a cupboard inside the door that’s large enough for a person to fit through. Even a printout in the room of the civil liberty act basically saying if anything gets damaged/stolen its not their fault- scary! Next room was playing loud music until dawn. Tred calling reception- no answer. At 0930 the reception was closed so I couldn’t mention any of the above to them. Restaurant overpriced. Ate at the Bush Inn instead and glad we did. 2 stars because nice view and clean. This was Room 19. No idea how this motel got the high rating it has. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Reception staff were friendly. Our room had a fine view of the Great Western Tiers and was fairly quiet.

Quiet location out of town a little on the main road to Devonport and near road turnoff to Mole Creek. Clean and tidy with great views of the Great Western Tiers. A little small, but cosy rather than cramped.

Located between Cradle Mountain and Launceston which very much suits our travelling plan

Convenient location close to major highway. Too expenive completed with other hotels we stayed in!

Lovely welcoming staff (all staff) cleanliness ,so tidy and willing to help and assisit. .Well done Mountain view M1eals were delicious only wish there were more vegan Vegetarian options but we miss it now we have left and will most definately book with them again
