Where do I start!! My husband and I stayed two nights in Da Vinci's hotel during the Derry jazz festival. Before check in we had lunch in the bar which was very tasty, but trying to get drinks at the bar was almost impossible, lots of times both myself and my husband were ignored while others around us were served. They were obviously serving locals known by the staff. We eventually left and went into town. Then we opted for breakfast in our room on our last morning. We left out the card with our order before we went to bed . The next morning we waited for breakfast which didn't arrive, we looked and the card was still on the door handle. I phoned reception 3 times and was told someone was on their way up to sort it out. Never happened so I eventually phoned down and said forget it, there was absolutely no apology from the receptionist. 10 mins later the manager rang and apologised saying they had walked the floor 4 times during the night and didn't see our card , suggested maybe another guest moved it🤔 then how was it still on our door handle? At checkout I asked for a refund for the two breakfasts and was told they were complimentary so no refund. The whole experience at Da Vinci's showed us the staff couldn't care less about customer care. Do not recommend this hotel.
