Le personnel était serviable, cependant nous avons été très déçus par la piscine: il est indiqué sur le site qu'il y a 3 piscines, nous étions au Golden Sands 10, il n'y en avait qu'une, assez petite et l'eau était très chaude (avec une température extérieure de 42° c'est compliqué!) Les 2 autres piscines étaient dans un autre bâtiment situé dans un autre pâté de maison et nous n'avions pas le droit d'y aller. C'est vraiment dommage car nous n'avons pas du tout pu profiter de ces équipements alors que notre choix s'est porté sur cet hôtel pour cette raison. Nous avons fait une réclamation à Expedia qui nous répond qu'il est effectivement indiqué qu'il existe 3 piscines mais que cela ne signifie pas que nous devions y avoir accès, je trouve cela inadmissible

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Désolé de n'être rentré en contact avec Zaki, le superviseur de l'accueil de l'hôtel qui parlait français, qu'en milieu de séjour. Très compétent et très serviable. Merci.Tout le personnel était très poli et très accueillant. Nous avons eu sur place des soucis sur le chauffe eau et le frigo mais tout a été changé avec des équipements neufs dans les 30 minutes, ce qui ne se ferait même pas en France. Waouh Le logement propre et suffisamment spacieux pour nous 4. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était très complet. Attention aux heures d'affluence (éviter 10h surtout le week end). Le buffet du soir nous a moins comblé même si il était également diversifié. Nous étions en 1/2 pension, nous avons eu la possibilité de manger soit le midi soit le soir. Nous avons testé le midi, ce fut très agréable car il y avait peu de clients de l'hôtel et la carte un peu plus à notre goût. Nous avons profité de la piscine du 1er étage très agréable et propre. Nous avons appris qu'il y avait un sauna dans les douches à coté de la piscine car nous ne le savions pas. Dans le hall de l'hôtel, nous avons réservé pour un safari au lever du soleil. le driver nous a fait faux bon à 5H du matin, vraiment inacceptable, je ne recommande pas du tout. Zaki, est rentré en contact avec un autre guide mais l'expérience, certes peu chère, n'était pas réjouissante. Le parking parfait, nous avons pu garer notre voiture de location tout les jours sans soucis. Alentours sécurisés

Had a premier room but was so run down and needed a good clean! Ac vents all black and so load! Windows so thin it sounds like the window is open and every 30 mins someone slams a door! No sleep!!!

My family had amazing time at Golden Sands Apartments Hotels. The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and looked exactly like what we booked. Everything worked in our rooms and when we needed help they assisted quickly. Quiet hotel and good neighborhood.

The house keeping staff excellent, very helpful very friendly and credit to Golden Sands. I found some of the checkin staff to be a little hostile sometimes. Which was a shame. This is my second stay a Golden Sands 5 and would come back, just hope the check in staff given a little bit more training on being friendly and helpful, this was not all the checkin staff, some of them very nice

Mit einer Gruppe von sieben Personen haben wir einige Apartments gemietet. Besonders das Mitarbeiterteam in Golden Sands 10 war hervorragend. Freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Die Apartments wurden jeden Tag sehr sorgfältig gereinigt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Küchenausstattung war nicht mehr ganz vollständig (weniger Geschirr und Besteck als im Apartment wohnen konnten) und eher "basic", die Betten eher härter als weich. Das nur zur Info - uns hat es nicht so sehr gestört. Das Team an der Rezeption hätte bestimmt eine Lösung gefunden, wenn wir es bei ihnen bemängelt hätten. Bin immer noch sehr beeindruckt von den freundlichen Mitarbeitern und würde gerne wiederkommen, wenn es sich ergibt.

The staff was amazing, kind & helpful. I want to also rave about Mubashar he was great, he greet us with such a warm & kind smile everytime we came back from our tours. He went above and beyond to ask us how we were doing. The apartment was so clean & the staff was very helpful.

We have used Golden Sands 3 and 5 on and off for 25 years, The staff,as ever, are friendly, polite and always helpful. The apartments in 5 are comfortable and very tidy however they are starting to show their age, Golden Sands 3 has had a recent make over and looks fantastic its about time for 5 to recieve the same attention. The area is ideally located for local shops and dining and is within easy walking distance to the Metro. We will be returning in 2026/27 and are looking forward to it.

On checked in I was greeted with in-experience staff. I have been going to Dubai for a lot of years now, and always used Bonvoy hotels and IHG as I am a member. For a change I wanted to try the golden sands as in the past Golden sand was good place to stay, however on this visit, I am dis-appointed, the reception staff did not even know that they provide toiletries!!! Giving me wrong information. Location is ok. Apart from a bad experience from reception staff rest of my stay are ok. Staff called MOBI in the evening shift was made my stay ok, he is present at the reception helped me with my luggage when I arrive. Gave information I need that the reception should done in the first place. On checked in I was greeted with in-experience staff. I have been going to Dubai for a lot of years now, and always used Bonvoy hotels and IHG as I am a member. For a change I wanted to try the golden sands as in the past Golden sand was good place to stay, however on this visit, I am dis-appointed, the reception staff did not even know that they provide toiletries!!! Giving me wrong information. Location is ok. Apart from a bad experience from reception staff rest of my stay are ok. Staff called MOBI in the evening shift was made my stay ok, he is present at the reception helped me with my luggage when I arrive. Gave information I need that the reception should done in the first place. I suggest reception staff Mary should have further training with the service provided and Sadam for customer service training etiquette.

The house keeping staff excellent, very helpful very friendly and credit to Golden Sands. I found some of the checkin staff to be a little hostile sometimes. Which was a shame. This is my second stay a Golden Sands 5 and would come back, just hope the check in staff given a little bit more training on being friendly and helpful, this was not all the checkin staff, some of them very nice

Our stay was excellent. The staff were polite and helpful right from arrival, check-in and throughout our stay. We are grateful for changing our room for the last day. Kudos to the manager and her team. You're amazing and hope to return.

We have used Golden Sands 3 and 5 on and off for 25 years, The staff,as ever, are friendly, polite and always helpful. The apartments in 5 are comfortable and very tidy however they are starting to show their age, Golden Sands 3 has had a recent make over and looks fantastic its about time for 5 to recieve the same attention. The area is ideally located for local shops and dining and is within easy walking distance to the Metro. We will be returning in 2026/27 and are looking forward to it.

The staff was amazing, kind & helpful. I want to also rave about Mubashar he was great, he greet us with such a warm & kind smile everytime we came back from our tours. He went above and beyond to ask us how we were doing. The apartment was so clean & the staff was very helpful.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Désolé de n'être rentré en contact avec Zaki, le superviseur de l'accueil de l'hôtel qui parlait français, qu'en milieu de séjour. Très compétent et très serviable. Merci.Tout le personnel était très poli et très accueillant. Nous avons eu sur place des soucis sur le chauffe eau et le frigo mais tout a été changé avec des équipements neufs dans les 30 minutes, ce qui ne se ferait même pas en France. Waouh Le logement propre et suffisamment spacieux pour nous 4. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était très complet. Attention aux heures d'affluence (éviter 10h surtout le week end). Le buffet du soir nous a moins comblé même si il était également diversifié. Nous étions en 1/2 pension, nous avons eu la possibilité de manger soit le midi soit le soir. Nous avons testé le midi, ce fut très agréable car il y avait peu de clients de l'hôtel et la carte un peu plus à notre goût. Nous avons profité de la piscine du 1er étage très agréable et propre. Nous avons appris qu'il y avait un sauna dans les douches à coté de la piscine car nous ne le savions pas. Dans le hall de l'hôtel, nous avons réservé pour un safari au lever du soleil. le driver nous a fait faux bon à 5H du matin, vraiment inacceptable, je ne recommande pas du tout. Zaki, est rentré en contact avec un autre guide mais l'expérience, certes peu chère, n'était pas réjouissante. Premièrement le personnel au restaurant est superbe et attentionné et le choix concernant la nourriture du petit déjeuner et dîner est très bonne et diversifiée Pour l’appartement il a fallut plusieurs plaintes pour que la salle de bain soit faite correctement je ne mettrais pas les photos par correction A la Réception certaines personnes sont arrogantes Donc opinion mitigée

Property is very old property, own egoistic management- especially manager-Hadi. Its resturant serve very old food and very reluctant to accept feedback. They like to charge for any simple service. Seems all they care is to make money and not care for customers. Very terrible management.

The rooms were good with a double bed in the 1 room with ensuite and 2 single beds in the living room with another separate bathroom. The AC started leaking during our stay but the rooms were kept cool thoughout. The washer / dryer was very useful for the short stay after a longer stay without. The microwave was high up so will be a challenge for those who are unable to safely reach it. There was only a handful of utensils and no oven for frozen food or an air fryer which would have been useful. No cleaning liquids are provided or handwash in the kitchen. The TV did not include any apps like YouTube. The single swimming pool in the building in 2026 was being refurbished and we were directed to another of their hotels if we wanted to use the pool. The local transport nearby is minimal and does not operate throughout the day. It is a 15 minute walk to bus stops that operate all day or 20 minutes to the metro stations Burjaman or ADCB. Burjaman mall has a Carrefour supermarket in the basement - the other local stores have the basics, Local taxi to the station was about £2.50. Get a Silver Nol Card at the airport metro station or local station - comes loaded with some credit in the cost. Always tap in and out of buses - not use too having to tap out on buses. Was cheap and quick to get around though it did get packed at rush hour. Women only parts of the metro was also useful though not much choice during rushhour.
