Taj experience, excellent everytime. Staff was great, polite and helpful. Rooms are small/ stuffed. Breakfast is really nice. Dinner buffet is limited, i think since a lot of people choose to eat outside due to so many options in Goa. Again super services by the staff. Bar at the pool is a good add on. Private beach is also really good. Their food is really good especially at the Banyan tree Thai restaurant), the staff again excellent. Highly recommended.

The location is great the breakfast is good. The beach and pool are great. The F&B staff are pleasant with prompt service Special shout out to the Banyan tree and the house of Nomad. Check-in and Check-out process was not pleasant, the house manager was RUDE when I asked for my second key for my Dad, the check-in process took 3 hours, the service recovery was acceptable thanks to Isha. They have a complimentary shuttle etc. However, at this price point there are better options in Goa, staying here was a mistake.

Our stay was fantastic! The ambiance was amazing, and one of the best perks of booking the Taj Village Resort is that you also get access to both Taj Fort Aguada and the Village Resort. The property is expansive, well-maintained, and impeccably clean. The direct access to the beach is another major highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful, ensuring we had a wonderful and memorable stay.

This is one of the Taj’s flagship property in India and one of the most expensive hotels so one expects extraordinary service from them especially on Christmas holidays. Surprisingly they only have two restaurants, one is coffee shop offering buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner and the other one is a Thai restaurant- Banyan Tree. We have stayed at this property many times but this time food at coffee shop was very much below average- minus 10 on a scale of 10. Tasteless with bad to look at presentation on table made us hunt for food outside the hotel though we had paid for a meal plan. There are so many great choices outside the hotel for food that is much reasonably priced like Second House, Hosa, etc. Rotten bananas coming on the table and such food not only in buffet but also in ala carta menu escaping professional eyes is a serious RED FLAG. We informed all the concerned people and they promised to look into it. Secondly the cabanas were all dirty. Despite bringing it to their knowledge no one cleaned it up for five nights of our stay. This is not what you expect after you pay $800 USD for a night.

Front desk and housekeeping services were extremely poor. Rooms were not clean. The sofa had stains, the room telephones were not working. The restaurants weren’t great either but the restaurant staff were good.

We had expected a lot from Taj but the condition was not great. The staff made a lot of efforts to make us comfortable and that was the only plus for us. They said they will do refund of one night and then e should check with Hotels.com but I haven’t been able to contact anyone in hotels.com as there is no email id or phone number on hotels.com app to follow up.

Me and my wife have been staying in taj for most of our holidays since years but Goa taj doesn’t feel like the standards taj has . Firstly we tried the restaurant in taj which apparently served goan food but when we had it , it was average half of the things were not available , fish curry was smelly fish dint feel fresh , we left the entire curry , prawn fry was again average , then we tried buffet for breakfast it was nothing like taj felt im in some 3 star restaurant , there is no mirror in the rooms everytime my wife had to get ready she was using the washroom mirror , don’t you think there should be a big mirror in the room it was inconvenient for my wife and for me and again not what we paid for , the bathroom valve for the shower kept falling everytime we went for shower , once we called the housekeeping to clean the room in the morning and afternoon we came back to room , my wife had kept DND on because the room was clean and she had kept her personal belonging in the room and we went out in sometime when we returned back in the eve , housekeeping had again come in the room to decorate the bed even after the DND was on which was unacceptable,after complaining the manager said he’ll get back to me but he didn’t care I guess and we left the next morning really disappointed with taj Goa , would not recommend it to anyone

Firstly we tried the restaurant in taj which apparently served goan food but when we had it , it was average half of the things were not available , fish curry was smelly fish dint feel fresh , we left the entire curry , prawn fry was again average , then we tried buffet for breakfast it was nothing like taj felt im in some 3 star restaurant , there is no mirror in the rooms everytime my wife had to get ready she was using the washroom mirror , don’t you think there should be a big mirror in the room it was inconvenient for my wife and for me and again not what we paid for , the bathroom valve for the shower kept falling everytime we went for shower , once we called the housekeeping to clean the room in the morning and afternoon we came back to room , my wife had kept DND on because the room was clean and she had kept her personal belonging in the room and we went out in sometime when we returned back in the eve , housekeeping had again come in the room to decorate the bed even after the DND was on which was unacceptable,after complaining the manager said he’ll get back to me but he didn’t care I guess and we left the next morning really disappointed with taj Goa , would not recommend it to anyone

We have just finished a 10 day stay at the Taj Village Resort and cannot recommend it enough. The entire stay was well beyond our expectations. Shubham, Uma and Salonica at reception were welcoming and always helpful. Sudedh at the travel desk always on hand to organise transport. Prajot and Saeel at the poolside bar were always so kind and went out of their way. Sahhoo the lifeguard was amazing. Always making sure our sun beds were arranged such that my children were sheltered from the sun. Prakash and Devanand at the Caravela were always on hand to ensure we were taken care of at the restaurant. We did have a blip with 2 groups of Ill mannered students checking in and making 4 days rather unpleasant but that cannot be held against the hotel or staff in any way. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel in Goa and you are travelling with children.

Front desk and housekeeping services were extremely poor. Rooms were not clean. The sofa had stains, the room telephones were not working. The restaurants weren’t great either but the restaurant staff were good.

Me and my wife have been staying in taj for most of our holidays since years but Goa taj doesn’t feel like the standards taj has . Check-in and Check-out process was not pleasant, the house manager was RUDE when I asked for my second key for my Dad, the check-in process took 3 hours, the service recovery was acceptable thanks to Isha. They have a complimentary shuttle etc. However, at this price point there are better options in Goa, staying here was a mistake.

The property is expansive, well-maintained, and impeccably clean. The direct access to the beach is another major highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful, ensuring we had a wonderful and memorable stay.

Taj experience, excellent everytime. Staff was great, polite and helpful. Rooms are small/ stuffed. Breakfast is really nice. Dinner buffet is limited, i think since a lot of people choose to eat outside due to so many options in Goa. Again super services by the staff. Bar at the pool is a good add on. Private beach is also really good. Their food is really good especially at the Banyan tree Thai restaurant), the staff again excellent. Highly recommended.

This hotel and the staff are truly amazing! Welcoming, courteous, accommodating and generous. We were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday on this trip, and were sweetly surprised by the chocolate cake and birthday message left in our room one day. So thoughtful! Restaurants on site are excellent, the new Seven Rivers brewery nearby also a fabulous property for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend the Taj to anyone visiting Goa.

This is one of the Taj’s flagship property in India and one of the most expensive hotels so one expects extraordinary service from them especially on Christmas holidays. Surprisingly they only have two restaurants, one is coffee shop offering buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner and the other one is a Thai restaurant- Banyan Tree. We have stayed at this property many times but this time food at coffee shop was very much below average- minus 10 on a scale of 10. Tasteless with bad to look at presentation on table made us hunt for food outside the hotel though we had paid for a meal plan. There are so many great choices outside the hotel for food that is much reasonably priced like Second House, Hosa, etc. Rotten bananas coming on the table and such food not only in buffet but also in ala carta menu escaping professional eyes is a serious RED FLAG. We informed all the concerned people and they promised to look into it. Secondly the cabanas were all dirty. Despite bringing it to their knowledge no one cleaned it up for five nights of our stay. This is not what you expect after you pay $800 USD for a night.

Had great time, though it was off season resort has many activities. We been there for 2 nights it would have been good if we came at right season as it is mansoon all the beach activities are closed. Would definitely recommend this resort but come any time from Oct if looking for beach activities, during mansoon time it will be more of relaxation. The staff were very helpful. Special thanks to chef’s, cater according to our special needs

The property is spread out. Some of the rooms are in a four plex building, while some are single chalets or duplexes. Dining restaurants are quite far from the majority of rooms, requiring walking or taking a golf cart ride. The buildings are generally well maintained as are the grounds and landscape. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms ( relative to the square footage) are small. The resort has plenty of staff, but there is no sense of prompt customer service. From the room if one calls for service there is no one at the other end to answer or concern. One has to take the trek to the lobby, only to get an apology. We arranged a ride into Pajim to get there at a specific time time; however, the ride didn't show up on time, and finally did after much complaining. Again all we received was an apology. The much-touted Caravela was a disappointment. Old and very dark, and the service rather slow. Food was okay, but not befitting the Taj standards. The sister resort next to the HV has better restaurants, and one in particular - Paper Moon ( Italian Specialty) had the best service offered. What we didn't appreciate was that kids were allowed into a fine dining restaurant. One already gas to cope with kids in the pool and public spaces. Fine dining restaurants should a reprieve for guests to enjoy meals and drinks in a quite and serene space, following an hectic and chaotic day out and about. So for couples and those travelling in an adult group be cautious booking.

The location is superb, but it’s a dated property which is crying out loud for renovation! I slipped on the foot mat almost twice because it’s slippery, just outside the main door. Pool area will make you wait for 20 minutes even to get a coconut water which felt like I bought from a roadside vendor, it was hot and covered with foil ? Never seen a five start property charging 250 dollar a night in such a shabby condition!
