Spa and sauna out of order for duration of stay. This was not communicated as an issue. When you pay good money you expect all facilities to be functioning and accessible, was looking forward to relaxing and using spa and sauna. Should be upfront that facilities are not operating prior to asking full rates. It’s just not cricket!

The property is really convenient for shopping and transport. However, the outdoor pool is really icy and could do with heating, especially in the winter months.

The unit was pretty good for medium stays but the parking situation is a game breaker and it’s structural to the place also the TV claims to allow you to cast your apps (whichwe do all the time at home) but their sustem is not up to it and buffers and drives you crazy - not fit for purpose. Location excellent - short walk to anywhere. One reception lady extremely pleasant but helpfulness was limited by the structural hurdles.

The locations was convenient and overall the property is nice with parking included. The wifi casting was unreliable and the stay was ruined by a permanent residents dogs barking continually at varying hours I'm sure if my room was on different floor the experience would have been better.

Great hotel, 5 min walk from main broadbeach area, right next to the beach too! Lovely staff at reception and the room we had was great! Well kitted out and nice views! Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub too! Parking underground was so useful in such a busy area!

Stayed for 5 nights and had a nice time. The hotel resort was good with a nice pool/spa area and small gym. Reception was friendly and helpful. Our 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable but a bit dated. Exhaust fan in the bathroom ran constantly but didn’t bother us. A good value stay.

Bel Air is a wonderful resort with all of the amenities you need on a holiday-indoor & outdoor pool, spa, sauna, gym, BBQ areas and plenty of poolside chairs.

We would not stay here again. The spa was broken the entire week we were there. The staff told us it was fixed and it wasn’t. Our room was dusty and dirty in the bathrooms and on counter tops. We told them about the cleanliness and they didn’t come until day 6 to clean and it was just a surface clean and change of bath towels. Not good enough. The carpet was old and ripped up. Our room did not look like the photos online, nothing had been updated. The shower was over a bath, not what we were expecting. We asked to move rooms and we could not be accommodated. The staff were not helpful an other families were able to move rooms. It was expensive and we had to pay for pool towels and we were there for 11 nights. I recommend going elsewhere.

Reception staff were helpful and courteous at all times. Room was spotless and contained all essential amenities. Parking is a bit hit or miss as most parking spaces are taken up by private owners, although parking could always be found. Stayed there many times before and have always been happy.

It is an older property in the Gold Coast and it age is showing. Poor layout with worn carpets. A few creepy crawlies tarnished the experience. They need to update to compete with surrounding properties, otherwise it would be difficult to recommend this location.

The room we were in was quite run down. Windows didn't close properly, the leather chairs all had cuts in them or you could feel the wood in it when you sat. A lot of cracked and uneven tiles, no fans in the bathrooms and a lot of cockroaches.

Overall very good, the property is well maintained but due to it's age it looks a little tired. Level 6 (same wing as cafe) has a very pungent smell as soon as exit the elevators. Thankfully the odour doesn't penetrate in the rooms.

A bit disappointed. The photos Wotif uses are of rooms that have been renovated. The room we had on the 14th floor of the Northern tower was old, dated and missing light bulbs; no balcony lights worked. We contacted reception on the first day to ask for the lights to be fixed so we could sit outside at nightime. We were there for four nights and no one came to fix them. The curtains had mould on the thermal backing. Each time we pulled the curtains, the family would start sneezing and coughing. The mattress and base in the master bedroom did not much up; king size base with a double size mattress on top. The base was worn and stained. Good parking, close to Pacific Fair and tram station. Its a shame, as our extended family had stayed there and recommended it based on the renovated rooms.

The ocean views from the North Tower were amazing. Very spacious inside with a lovely deck off all the rooms. Very well equiped kitchen set up which gave us the option to make our own breakfast with tea and coffee provided. Thank you for a fabulous stay. Wish we had stayed longer!

Room was terrible, so outdated and old. No air-conditioning in the bedroom only a fan. The curtains in the bedroom didn't even touch the floor so in the mornings was very light and bright and hot!. The step into the bath , where the shower is, is very high and definitely not suited to elderly or if u had a bad back. The kitchen is very outdated and old. The whole room needs a paint and upgrade. Construction works woke us every morning at 6.30 so it was not a restful peaceful stay at all.

Unfortunately there was noisy construction works below our room at 11pm. Not good after being up since 3am for our early flight. While the property has no control over this we could have been warned beforehand that this was happening

The room we stayed in was clean and pleasant but the tv didn't really work very well, the shower wasn't great and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The pool looked lovely. Lots of great dining options nearby and very close walking distance to the beach and Pacific Fair shopping centre.

Apartment was very dated bed uncomfortable and couch . No insect nets on windows and doors and as such got bitten by mozzies . I complained was refunded one nights accomodation but still very disappointed as first trip to Gold Coast

I was really disappointed with my stay. One day I had tradies doing construction outside my balcony/windows that could see me walking around my apartment. I didn’t know there was construction going on but I asked to move rooms after being there one night because I booked there because I knew there was a balcony and I wanted to do work on it. When I asked rooms the receptionist said tough luck, and if I wanted to move rooms I would have to pay to upgrade. I didn’t want to pay to upgrade for privacy as this should be a right when you are staying in a hotel! They came to my room and said they wouldn’t be much longer and that they *shouldn't* be looking into the room for much more. For context the tradies were working on the balcony next to mine which was about 3 metres, and I could see them with my curtains open, in the lounge and bedroom. I had to keep my curtains closed and stay inside in darkness as they didn’t have see through curtains too. I was so disappointed.

The communication regarding the fire alarm that went off while we were there was very poor. It created huge anxiety as there were very little instructions. There was also no communication when the alarm went off as to what the problem was. It needs enormous improvement so that the customers feel informed and secure.

Generally it was great. However, on my first day to check in and since it was later in the evening so I called for support since reception was closed but did not quite get the appropriate assistance to collect my keys. I had to reach out to Wotif app virtual chat bot and was supplied the instructions.

A bit disappointed. The photos Wotif uses are of rooms that have been renovated. The room we had on the 14th floor of the Northern tower was old, dated and missing light bulbs; no balcony lights worked. We contacted reception on the first day to ask for the lights to be fixed so we could sit outside at nightime. We were there for four nights and no one came to fix them. The curtains had mould on the thermal backing. Each time we pulled the curtains, the family would start sneezing and coughing. The mattress and base in the master bedroom did not much up; king size base with a double size mattress on top. The base was worn and stained. Good parking, close to Pacific Fair and tram station. Its a shame, as our extended family had stayed there and recommended it based on the renovated rooms.

We would not stay here again. The spa was broken the entire week we were there. The staff told us it was fixed and it wasn’t. Our room was dusty and dirty in the bathrooms and on counter tops. We told them about the cleanliness and they didn’t come until day 6 to clean and it was just a surface clean and change of bath towels. Not good enough. The carpet was old and ripped up. Our room did not look like the photos online, nothing had been updated. The shower was over a bath, not what we were expecting. We asked to move rooms and we could not be accommodated. The staff were not helpful an other families were able to move rooms. It was expensive and we had to pay for pool towels and we were there for 11 nights. I recommend going elsewhere.

We had a fantastic view from our room. It's in a great location. Walking distance to Pacific Fair & Dracula's. Very convenient to have a tram stop out the front for a quick trip into Cavil Ave.

Our stay at the BelAir was amazing. Was great to have the tram across the road which made travelling to surfers so much easier. we will definitely be going back.

Bel Air on Broadbeach is a great place to stay with walking distance to Pacific fair and the beach and a short drive to our friends who have moved to the Gold Coast we will be back next year

Good location, clean rooms but room was overlooking road works (working at night) and main road… noise kept up awake and woke us up.. asked if we could be moved and were told they’d get back to us .. but didn’t. We have stayed several times before and did request several times for a room NOT FACEING ROAD. Also spa was out.. no mention of this on website. Very disappointed and won’t be back

Great hotel, 5 min walk from main broadbeach area, right next to the beach too! Lovely staff at reception and the room we had was great! Well kitted out and nice views! Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub too! Parking underground was so useful in such a busy area!

Unfortunately there was noisy construction works below our room at 11pm. Not good after being up since 3am for our early flight. While the property has no control over this we could have been warned beforehand that this was happening

Ive stayed here a few times and its been great but just a little disappointed at the noise at night from the roadworks being done my room faced it and it was really loud not allowing me to sleep but the pool and amenities for the kids was great Would still come again without roadworks next time

Was super clean, but fairly outdated and poor functionality/placement of doors. If you had the bedroom door open, you wouldn't be able to access the toilet - then the bedroom door auto locks if closed. The pool areas were lovely, as was the little cafe onsite - amazing coffee! Convenient location for people wanting to shop, but would likely prefer to be along the beach with more "dine in" type restaurants and cafes at the ground level. Overall good stay.

We loved our stay at Bel Air Broadbeach apartments and the little cafe had great food and coffee. Location to restaurants and The Star casino was in walking distance Our 2 bedroom apartment was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be coming back

The Bel Air is in a great location close to Quality restaurant's, shopping and the beach. The Resort is set out Beautifully with the apartment towers on the outside and the central garden Bbq and pool area Absolutely the best place to relax and unwind.

Initially I was disappointed with the unit position in the East Tower. It is advertised as beach view but actually faces west, over the light rail station and Pacific Fair Shopping. The traffic noise is noticeable during morning and afternoon peak times, cars and rail, when the balcony door or windows are open. The ocean is partially visible from one balcony. Access is good with numerous lifts. Location is ideal with beach and surf club access nearby, shopping centre, casino and Surfers Paradise central within walking distance. Public transport is adjacent to property and fares currently capped at 50cents each way. Easy to access from Coolangatta Airport to Broadbeach South terminal. The property is attractive with buildings positioned around a central pool area. I’d recommend a stay here and hope to return soon.

Always a great place to stay. It’s close to everything , shopping, the beach, and plenty of good food options. With the hotel’s amenities, you could also easily save a bit of money by cooking in your room. Getting there from the airport is easy too, with convenient bus access. The only downside this time was the construction work across the road, with some very early starts. Not exactly the ideal way to wake up on holiday! Hopefully the construction doesn’t mean the hotel loses its beautiful view of the beach and those amazing sunrises. That view is definitely one of the best things about staying here. Overall, another great stay, and I’d happily come back again.
