The Ashley Hotel Greymouth

Je recommande surtout lorsque comme moi vous venez de faire 12 h de voiture. Le personnel est vraiment accueillant d’autant que je suis arrivé très tard. Seul bémol le petit déjeuner à améliorer car c’est vraiment léger.

Managers couldn't even say hello, in general place felt unhappy, I'm sure housekeeping staff would report issues as there were a number of them and management would say humm. Only positive, the bed was good

Reception lobby was so warm and inviting as were the staff when someone eventually came to the counter, but everything went a bit downhill from that point. A room change was necessary due to a burning smell (faulty microwave). 2nd room had major cleanliness issues in kitchen and lounge area and a broken cooker resulting in our dinner being cooked by the restaurants helpful chef! The freezer was so frozen up the door wouldn’t open! Staff were very apologetic but it marred what has been a lovely day. The Indoor pool had a low waterline and tiles missing. The hotel room in general need some serious TLC. Staff were nice although very few of them. Took a walk down to the beach nearby which was pleasant.

Can’t beat it for the price!! Would highly recommend!

The room was clean and a good size. The fridge old and too small. The staff promptly responded when the TV was would’nt work and fixed it quickly
