Great location and classy vibe. Great rooftop bar with panoramic views, though the pool was small, but good for social media pics. Jazz singer in the lounge on Friday was a nice touch.

Bien hotel, vieron pero bien mantenido. Un solo inconveniente con la piscina pues la cierran a las 6 pm y nos corrieron dedde las 5:30 porque iban a acondicionar el bar para esa noche de roof garden. Desayuno continental con muy pocas opciones de platillos preparados

The hotel is tall, but small. The roof top bar and restaurant are rented out to a third party. You can only use the pool till 5 pm and access the area until then, unless you drink at the bar or eat at the restaurant. The restaurant is 3 or 5 course menus and on the pricey side. The view from the roof top bar is amazing. The best part of all. Too bad we only got the enjoy it once, due to the place being closed on Sundays and private party one other night. The rooms were small, but clean. Plenty of choices for breakfast. The area around the hotel is very busy. You can barely stop to unload your car. Parking is valet only. We had an issue with that, but it was resolved. Music blasting till 1:30 am every night. After that it gets quiet and nice. Ventilation was not good - cigarette smell every night. We had 2 rooms, only one had the smell.

The location was nice right next to the shopping area which is a big plus. But at night, may also be noise because of the bars nearby. And for our stay the WiFi in the room didn’t work properly. The swimming pool at the top was quite winding, and small.

I have stayed in Istanbul many times over my years for pleasure and work but I have never experienced finding cockroaches, especially in what is suppose to be a 4 star hotel. I finally chose Mamara Pera due to its convenient location and the price was fair which included breakfast. The staff are luke warm but everything did go smoothly at check in. We checked into the 10th floor. The rooms are looking tired and decor needs attention. My biggest complaint is coming back to our room to find a half dead coachroach on its back on the floor. I called management and they offered to change our room. In the frantic move and packing, another large, very lively cockroach jumped out and onto our bed. At this point I couldn’t contain my disgust. I spoke to management and they only apologised and left me feeling very disappointed. I would not recommend this place, FULLSTOP! There are many other options that would be a better choice. STAY CLEAR IF YOU DONT WANT TO COME FACE TO FACE WITH GIANT COCKROACHES!

My family and me stayed at the hotel for two nights. I can’t believe, but it’s 4 stars hotel and my youngest son got a horrible rush from bed bugs there. Also, everything looks very old, shower made a horrible noise when i used it. Reception staff was very unkind. Very bad experience! Never again!

The rooms were not up to par. The bed sheets had what appeared the be animal hair, walk ledges were dusty, bathroom tub had a ring and everything was out dated. However staff was very friendly and helpful.

The queen bed rooms to small

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist größtenteils gut, jedoch hört man noch im 16. Stockwerk die Musik aus den Bars in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Der Zustand der Ausstattung ist zwar gut jedoch schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Ich würde jedoch immer wieder das Hotel buchen.

By far one of my absolute favorite hotels in Istanbul. Amazing view from the rooms, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff and a stone's throw from Istiklala cadesi! Strong recommendation!

I stayed at The Marmara Pera 4 nights with my partner. The main reason we chose this hotel was that it has an outdoor pool. However, the pool is an odd triangle shape and is so small, it is impossible for an adult to swim in it. This was a big let down. The hotel in general needs serious renovation as the decor and furniture are quite outdated. We stayed at a city view room for 2 people. The bed was too wide (2 meters, I think) which occupied a large area in our not so big room. Our room did not have enough power outlets to charge our devices. There were no power outlets by the bed.The bathroom door was a swinging door which did not provide proper privacy.The bath tub was high and small.The shower head was positioned as high as the ceiling allows however it was not high enough for someone taller than 175cm. The room curtains did not close properly and we noticed that too late the 1st night. When reported the next day, they took immediate action however the curtains were still tad bit smal for the windows and did not completely block the light. We like our sleeping room dark so we woke up with the first lights of the day. In the night, we were kept awake by the music outside as the hotel is situated at a lively area.The room service was good.Our room was clean at our arrival and was cleaned to perfection during our stay. Hotel is situated close to a metro station (step down at Şişhane,take the exit Beyoğlu Bld.) There are nice cafes, restaurants a small supermarket close by.

Great view and location. Some attention to detail was lacking as we had multiple body washes and no shampoo in our room. It’s quite loud in the area and some of that sound carries into the room but it wasn’t to the point where it affected our sleep. Overall a good stay.

Very kind, clean and tidy, amazing view

The room was clean with great views over the marmara sea and towards the asian side. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. There’s robes and slippers. The shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and lotion were all zero parabens and zero soap. We weren’t able to use the pool as it was already cold and they have closed it for the season now. We did not include breakfast with our booking as we intended to eat out for most of the stay. The location of the hotel is just one street away from istiklal street and a few minutes walk to the galata tower and area which is so busy and buzzing at night. Amazing as its very close to everything. The karakoy tram to get to sultanahmet is also short walking distance downhill. Great stay. Will be back again, hopefully when there is a bosphorus view room available.

The location is unbeatable. My room was a little small but bathroom was really small. AC fan was too noisy. Staff was kind and valet service was really cheap & convenient. Breakfast was satisfactory. Pool at the roof is tiny but it was a lifesaver at the heat of the day. Price vs what you get is fair I think. I can definitely stay again.

Great staff and location

Great location with entertainment & dining options.beautifully well mannered and trained staff, Front desk especially. Willing to go above and beyond. Definitely recommended if you like to wine, dine, party and stay in the center.

Check-in went well and our bellboy- a 16-year-old trainee was excellent. Our housekeeper was great at attending to our needs although she did not speak English. But the service in the main resturant on the ground floor was awful. The staff were preoccupied with their personal conversations and paid little to no attentionto the guests. Also they shouted across the room to each other disrupting what should have been a relaxing atmosphere. They marred our entire experience. We stayed in Club Pera rooms but were not afforded the benefits without having toargue for them. A daily happy hour for Pera Club members did not appear to exist. When I enquired about it, staff spent about 30 minutes investigating and rhen told me I could have a free drink. Not at all what was listed as happy hour.

The Marmara is a comfortable hotel with a relaxing lobby and in a great location. The Pera Club room was comfortable with a great view of the city and Golden Horn. The reception staff were great and allowed a later check out and lent an adapter plug. I’d stay again.

I stayed at the Marmara Pera for a few days, the stay was great, clean and large rooms, superb breakfast but most importantly the staff and especially Kerem.

Excellent and helpful staff, great location

Hotel is nice and good location near a Metro. Nice breakfast and great views. Only downside was when checking in they tried to charge me for the room again and i reminded them it was a package deal and paid for. Also receptionist did not explain hotel Breakfast Times and dos and donts.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Marmara Pera! Not only is the location perfect—walking distance to so much of Istanbul—but what truly set this hotel apart was the incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at home. I was traveling with a small dog and they really spoiled her with all kinds of goodies and treats. A special thank you to the manager and especially to Kübra, who truly went above and beyond. It was all the little details—from the Turkish delights delivered to our room to finding duct tape when my suitcase was falling apart—that made this stay unforgettable. Anytime we needed something, Kübra and the team were right there with a solution and a smile. Our room had breathtaking views of the Bosphorus and waking up to that view each morning felt like a dream. The thoughtful touches, the warm service, and those views combined to create one of our most memorable hotel stays anywhere. Don’t forget to check out heir rooftop pool and incredible breakfast buffet. Highly recommend The Marmara Pera—we can’t wait to come back!

Horrible customer service. The front desk staff were some of the rudest and most dismissive people. We were placed in room that had zero sound proofing and we could hear loud party music for hours. Reception ignored our complaints multiple times and even blocked our phone line after falsely claiming they would come and check the issue. My partner and I ended up going down to reception for some resolution and were told to take a seat while they continued to ignore us and speak to each other in Turkish. When we eventually demanded a resolution, we were begrudgingly taken to another quieter room, despite the reception previously telling us that the hotel was booked solid. I have never experienced anything quite like this in my many years of travelling. Would recommend everyone to steer clear of this horrible hotel.

Great location and staff.

Great hotel, centrally located. There’s a train station not too far away, local attractions are a short walk away. The staff are friendly and ready assist with anything. It’s always wonderful to be greeted by Mustafa-the house keeper, he makes sure rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is amazing, a great spread of breads, salads and cheese. Big shout to Asma who makes the best omelettes, always with a smile and she remembers you following day too:) We couldn’t experience the pool as it was closed, they have a lovely restaurant on the roof top with great views of the city.

Great location

Great location to check out all the tourist sites of Istanbul! We would totally recommend for couples and young adults as it was in the heart of the action for shopping, dinning and night life. We loved this ocation but stayed with small children and next time will probably stay somewhere off the beaten path and more family friendly with kids

This was my second time staying here and, as per usual, it was a great experience. My only caveat, as last time, is with the incredibly loud music emanating from the nearby rooftop bars and restaurants. You can't get any sleep until 1am-ish, when they stop the music. Other than that, it's all great and incredibly well located.

A very nice hotel. İt is walking distance from everything. Also, it is located next to metro station. The room was very clean and it had amazing views of İstanbul. The breakfast was very good.

Nice staff,clean,nice area,just behind istiglal street,just don’t go to rooftop bar it’s insane how they charge you,avoid rooftop bar,it’s money grab,i had just ashot of hard liquor which the price was 635tl somehow I ended up paying 1000tl,hotel it self very nice.

Super Lage! Toller Pool und gutes Frühstück.

Had a great stay at Marmara Pera Hotel. The place was clean, well-maintained, and the breakfast had plenty of good options. Staff were kind and responsive—we even got a free upgrade to the top floor with an amazing view. Only downside was the language barrier, as few staff spoke English, but overall a great experience.

I had a great stay at Marmara Pera. My room was really nice, and was kept clean, the breakfast was great, and the location of the hotel is perfect, right off Istiklal street. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool on the rooftop was a nice extra treat.

The Marmara Pera is perfectly located in the heart of the Beyoğlu district. Our room provided a great view of the CIty and the Bosphorus. Steps away the Istiklal Caddesi, throbs with action. Great restaurants, bars, shops, and people watching. 300 meters from the metro. Best breakfast we had in Turkey.
