The hotel is located in a beautiful historic haveli that is beautifully furnished and very well maintained. The restaurant is attractive with good food and a large menu and there is a free live cultural show every evening. If you are coming to Jaipur for tourism, you really should stay in a heritage hotel and this one is an excellent choice

Lovely hotel in Jaipur and a fabulous reasonably priced restaurant to boot on the top floor. Lovely staff members who make your stay even better . If there is a downside then it’s is the lack of sunloungers by the pool.

Room was comfortable and clean with good air-conditioning. There were many lovely areas around the hotel to sit and relax. The pool was bijou and quiet but at times was busy with children but it was easy to find a quiet time if that's what you prefer. Breakfast had multiple options including freshly cooked omelettes and dosa so it should suit most people.

What a magical place! The room was incredible. I felt like a princess here! Little gardens, fountains, secret spots to explore with in the property. Great breakfast, evening entertainment with Rajasthani music and dancing. Lovely pool with the most beautiful paintings on the wall along side. The staff are so friendly and lovely. Such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

La mejor experiencia de alojamiento que hemos tenido en India! Es como alojarse en un palacio, decoración única y espacios para estar desconectado del ruido. Piscina limpia y con servicio gratuito de toallas, pero sólo dispone de cinco hamacas. Habitación extra grande con dos camas, baño con amenities, buena presión de agua e impoluto. Desayuno genial tipo buffet enfocado a comida India (el masala Dosa brutal), con cocina en vivo y café de máquina con espumita genial. Ubicación cercana de los puntos principales de interés. Nos guardaron las maletas de forma gratuita después de nuestro check out. El precio algo elevado para ser India.

The building was beautiful and the restaurant food was fantastic. We had two problems: 1. The beautiful pool was only available from 8.00am to 8.00pm so could not be used by a busy tourist. 2. We booked king sized beds and were not given them. We were told there was no alternative on the first night. A king bed was available on the 2nd night. The reception staff when we arrived did not appear to understand the difference in bed sizes. They also said that we needed to make a "special request" if we wanted a particular sized bed as their booking information did not provide them such instructions! Apart from the initial reception staff, the rest of the staff were great.

We verbleven hier 8 nachten voor een langer cultureel bezoek aan Jaipur. Het hotel is zeer aan te bevelen. Het is charmante typische traditionele stijl die je niet kan vinden bij de grote hotelketens. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel is heel proper en beschikt over een mooi zwembad, al was dit een beetje naar de frisse kant. We hebben bijna dagelijks in het hotel gegeten. De keuken is heel proper en zeer lekker. De prijzen zijn hoger dan in de stad, maar hiervoor heb je wel zekerheid over de kwaliteit en hygiëne. Vooral als je uit het westen komt. Neem wel oordopjes mee als je gevoelig aan lawaai bent. Jaipur is tot heel laat en ook heel vroeg terug zeer druk en dus met mogelijk lawaai. De gordijnen zijn niet heel verduisterend als de zon er op schijnt. Ik kan het enorm aanbevelen. Een tip: wil je kruiden of andere lokale producten kopen om mee naar huis te nemen? Gebruik de BlinkIt app en binnen 10 minuten is het geleverd aan het hotel. Prijzen zijn vast en veel lager dan in de oude stad, waar men toeristen prijzen hanteert tot 10x duurder.

Nice heritage style hotel with unique style. The hotel was well maintained and pool was very nice. Room was comfortable with traditional style decor and lots of paintings. The upstairs restaurant was decent, but better food found in other parts of town. Recommend they do something about the flys near the restaurant, like a blue lamp or something. The parking is a bit challenging. Overall a nice unique experience.

This is a lovely, quirky hotel which is bursting with character. Our room was impressive and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the rooftop restaurant on two evenings and on each the food was fresh and delicious. The live music added to the enjoyment of the evening.

This hotel is very outdated and the area is horrible. Is a cult the sac and to get there is very hard because there’s many cars around and the traffic gets stuck. The breakfast is ok and the restaurant is ok the room smells like humidity and the pool is very small. We just looked at it from the room. We found out it was a hunting lodge and then it made sense because the architecture is like a labyrinth. We stayed for one night only and then left to another hotel. For the same money and a little more you can get a far better hotel in Jaipur. Someone recommended this hotel to us, it was a mistake to go. The hotel is not very good. I wish I knew. It was a bad recommendation

Stayed for 2 nights at Umaid Bhavan with family. Gorgeous heritage property, and rooms were spacious and very stately! The hotel premises were very clean and well maintained and staff were friendly and polite. Their onsite restaurant was good and the buffet breakfast that was included in our room tariff was delicious and sumptuous with plenty of north and south Indian as well as western continental options. Our stay was very enjoyable and memorable.

The property is well-maintained and has the style of an old haveli. The staff is very polite and friendly. Our room was very spacious and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and they provided two canopy beds for the three of us. The breakfast was good and had some variety from day to day. They had upbeat musicians and a dancer for a couple of hours every night in the rooftop restaurant and the sounds echoed throughout the building. Our room had a balcony that opened to the courtyard. It was a great stay except that we could hear people walking around the hotel and stairs and talking until late.

The courtyard is very nice, makes for good pics. The rooms are ok but the layout is not great. TV did not work, at least I couldn’t get it to work. WiFi was spotty, had to go to the front desk 2x due to resolve issues; WiFi limits number of devices to 2 maybe 3 which is annoying. Breakfast ok.

Good value for money, Breakfast was great, room is good for two people, for three with a rollaway bed was congested. Have to climb the stairs to the room as the elivator didn’t go all the way. Bathroom was ok.

If you want a hotel, with traditional Indian decor, think beautiful colours, historical pictures of times past, then the Umaid Bhawan is the place to stay. The room was very comfortable, with every modern appliance, but keeping with traditional values. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold offerings, you can sit in and outside…it is a really comfortable and surprising brilliant hotel, when you have other more perceived “modern” hotels close by, if you want something more Indian traditional, the Umaid Bhawan is worth your money.

Traditional homely and clean property. Fast check in. The staff are always available to help from the time we cheeked in till we left. Good size room for our family. Swimming pool was lovely. There were lots of courtyards and little nook and corners where you can chill out. We even had a swing outside our room. It was raining so we decided to dine there. The food was amazing and fresh. The building was beautiful and the restaurant food was fantastic. We had two problems: 1. The beautiful pool was only available from 8.00am to 8.00pm so could not be used by a busy tourist. 2. We booked king sized beds and were not given them. We were told there was no alternative on the first night. A king bed was available on the 2nd night. The reception staff when we arrived did not appear to understand the difference in bed sizes. They also said that we needed to make a "special request" if we wanted a particular sized bed as their booking information did not provide them such instructions! Apart from the initial reception staff, the rest of the staff were great.

Great hotel in a residential area so peaceful. Staff were really helpful especially Khet Singh in the restaurant. Food was very good with great options. Would have liked boiling water for tea rather than hotish water. That was our only complaint.

Unterkunft etwas abseits gelegen somit Erkunden zu Fuß eher nicht gut. Sehr sehr ruhig und angenehm vor allem nach einem hektischen Tag in Jaipur. Auf der Dachterasse dann den Tag in Ruhe ausklingen lassen zu können war super. Personal sehr freundlich sehr zuvorkommend und immer aufmerksam. Empfehlenswert

This hotel is very outdated and the area is horrible. Is a cult the sac and to get there is very hard because there’s many cars around and the traffic gets stuck. The breakfast is ok and the restaurant is ok the room smells like humidity and the pool is very small. We just looked at it from the room. We found out it was a hunting lodge and then it made sense because the architecture is like a labyrinth. We stayed for one night only and then left to another hotel. For the same money and a little more you can get a far better hotel in Jaipur. Someone recommended this hotel to us, it was a mistake to go. The hotel is not very good. I wish I knew. It was a bad recommendation

Really lovely heritage hotel loved by us and our two adult children: Luxurious beds; Fabulous breakfast (Indian buffet but with Plenty of lovely verandahs to sit and chat / chill... Royal Suite is spectacular. 4km from city centre (so quieter / less chaotic and only a 2-3 EUR tuktuk ride to the "action"). This was our first stop in India and a real delight to "ease in gently". Had we not wanted to see more of Rajastan, we may very well have stayed longer...

This property is at the end of a random neighborhood road, but don’t fret, it’s worth the stay! Very reasonable price, friendly and welcoming staff, and one of the most unique hotels in Jaipur. I was staying with my brother, so they separated the bed into twins; but I wish I was with my wife because this hotel is very romantic. Breakfast was small, but good quality. I will totally stay here again!

The hotel is located in a beautiful historic haveli that is beautifully furnished and very well maintained. The restaurant is attractive with good food and a large menu and there is a free live cultural show every evening. If you are coming to Jaipur for tourism, you really should stay in a heritage hotel and this one is an excellent choice

This is a beautiful heritage hotel that I can truly recommend. The architecture, ambiance, and overall atmosphere are lovely — you really feel like you’re stepping into a piece of history. We only stayed one night, but I easily could’ve stayed longer if we’d had more time. Unfortunately, due to thunderstorms, we didn’t get a chance to try the pool. The experience overall was good, but service brought it down slightly. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and while the setting was nice, I was served grilled chicken that was half raw. Initially, I was told I would only get a 50% reduction since I had eaten a few bites, but in the end they agreed to waive the dish. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it could have been handled more professionally. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but again, the ambience of the property makes up for a lot. It’s a peaceful and memorable place to stay — and despite the hiccups, I warmly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something with charm and character.

The upstairs restaurant was decent, but better food found in other parts of town. Recommend they do something about the flys near the restaurant, like a blue lamp or something. The parking is a bit challenging. Overall a nice unique experience.

This is a lovely, quirky hotel which is bursting with character. Our room was impressive and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the rooftop restaurant on two evenings and on each the food was fresh and delicious. The live music added to the enjoyment of the evening.
