It's the little things that count with Taj. Had the opportunity to stay at the Taj Lands End for a week. Its my favorite hotel to get away and refresh. An amazing location walking distance to the Bandstand with lots of character. Shah Rukh and Rekha's house is also walking distance and gets lots of traffic especially SRK's 'MANNAT' house. The hotel staff is exceptional and it shows from the moment you enter the hotel. You're treated with class and respect throughout. I hardly get to remember peoples names but exceptional and over the top service gets top praise always. We booked the Club level to participate in the evening and daytime fun snacks. From Tushar at the Reception area, accommodating us to the most amazing room to Deepak our room attendant who made sure every ammenity was restocked to the T. Hats off to Deepak for attention to detail. He is my go to Room Attendant at the Taj Lands End. Ask for him and take care of him. good guy! The breakfast is exceptional... Everything is available if its not already laid out in the buffet area. Opens at 7 am. Great way to start your day... The seating area that overlooks the Bandstand at the higher level is nice if you don't mind the walk back and forth to the buffet. FYI - if you want Kulche let them know a day in advance. Puri is always available. Masala Chai is amazing. One suggestion would be to make the SAUNA and SPA area larger, like a entire whole level larger. Make that the GO TO feature. Thanks!

I did not know you needed a special room to use the roof top pool, so that was a disappointment. Also there was not a good place to watch sunset unless you were club level. All was good but not great. The pool chairs had old cushions with way too much bird poop. It said no cameras but 5 people were shutting something for instagram right beside me. Evening buffet was nice. The breakfast buffet - the food was good but it took 25 minutes to get my eggs, i went to get a latte all the cups were dirty, no one was clearing tables so dishes were piling up. The view at breakfast was good. They were just way under staffed. The bunnies and turkeys were fun. Overall is was ok. We expected more from the Taj.

We had a wonderful time at Taj lands End!! We spend the republic day weekend there, and it was just perfect. Amazing service from the start, smooth check-in and a very warm welcome. Perfect surroundings, everything was clean and comfortable! The wellness circle and gym was great. And the breakfast was outstanding, still thinking about it. The staff were commendable. They went out of their way to satisfy us. The gym facilities were very good and were accessible during our short stay. The room was of a generous size with cushioned chairs, a desk and chair a tv and comfortable twin beds. There was not enough drawer space but that was our only criticism. We got a4 night package at a reasonable price but the hotel is not cheap.

Majestic hotel with large comfortable rooms and lovely bathroom facilities, albeit a little tired. Lovely pool area with a kids pool, serene hotel grounds to walk in with an aviary and fish pond. Good breakfast selection of Indian and continental dishes. Hotel enjoys a waterfront location in a residential area with nearby shops and restaurants a 20 min ride away. Booked 2 nights over the New Year period. Arrived at 2.15pm to be told the room was not ready (check in starts 2pm). The hotel was unsurprisingly busy with staff across the reception and breakfast areas stretched. The system at the front door was chaotic as limited space to move luggage after screening. Despite the poor check-in experience, staff were polite and warm throughout the stay. Palak at reception was excellent as she addressed the check-in concerns professionally and went the extra mile to ensure the rest of the stay was going well.

Amazing hotel with lovely staff who are always there to help with anything especially the housekeeping who were efficient with keeping everything fully replenished. Our housekeeper Kajal was great and went above and beyond. The buffet breakfast had a great variety and could also order a la carte items such as Eggs Benedict and French toast on request. The hotel lobby was also a standout for us and was nice to chill after a long day exploring with a drink in the lobby bar and enjoy the live music.

We stayed at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, for six nights to celebrate my mother’s upcoming 75th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. Arya at check-in was superb, warm, and welcoming. As the room we’d booked wasn’t available, he upgraded us to a Club Room, which was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and very well-maintained throughout our stay. The Club Lounge was also exceptional, with great food and service, and the staff ensured we were happy at all times. The hotel even arranged a birthday cake, which was a very kind touch. Anil from housekeeping on the 22nd floor did a phenomenal job; he kept our room in pristine condition and went beyond expectations, always checking in to see if we needed anything. From start to finish, it was seamless. On any future visit to Mumbai, we’ll definitely stay at Taj Lands End again.

My recent stay at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, left much to be desired, particularly in terms of dining experience at their Vista restaurant. For example, some of the main dishes were left at the end of the table, and we had to help ourselves; desserts were served without clearing the mains’ dishes; desserts were served without spoons; for breakfast while, some guests were given extra attention others were not attended even after repeated requests, we were given a table with previous guests used glasses and had to request 3 different people for water even after highlighting our child is thirsty, etc. Despite efforts made by the management to address concerns raised during our stay (such as having to wait for hours after arrival within the designated check-out time for our two interconnected rooms), the service quality at Vista Restaurant remained poor. The menu choices were limited and uninspiring, and the overall dining experience fell short of the standards we have come to expect from Taj properties. Even my young daughter expressed dissatisfaction with the food, making meal arrangements outside the hotel necessary throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel failed to address the issue of clearing food trays from the corridors outside the rooms promptly (the food stayed in the corridors for over 12 hours on some occasions, and we showed the director of rooms those pictures). It smelled bad often in the corridors.

• Room Cleanliness: The room was not up to Taj standards - it was dusty, dirty and generally unclean. • Hotel Maintenance: The overall property appeared poorly maintained, giving the impression that there may be insufficient funding allocated for upkeep. • Breakfast Service: The food was tasteless, and despite empty tables being available, we had to wait in long queues each day which was very inconvenient. However, I want to specifically recognize Mr Chouhan, Housekeeping Manager, who was outstanding. He went above and beyond to address our concerns, did everything possible to keep us comfortable, and was the key factor in maintaining any sense of guest loyalty during our stay. His dedication to customer satisfaction is commendable and sets an excellent example for the team. I hope these issues can be addressed to bring the property back in line with Taj's usual high standards, while ensuring staff like Mr Chouhan are acknowledged for their great work. Have stayed at lands end pre Covid many times. Sad to see the bathrooms in the rooms in bad condition. Corners are rotten n molding.Bathrrom fixtures are rusted The day of arrival was the worst. the linen on the beds were balling and bathrooms were dirty I complained to house keeping who sorted the linens and ensured that hygiene and cleanliness was taken are of the rest of the stay bathrooms need renovation. Butler services are not the same, very slow I guess the hotel was busy.

Stayed for 2 nights on the 19th floor. While the lobby and service areas are great, the rooms are very dated and need a deep clean. My room had dirty furnishings (sofa and curtains) and a very soft bed. We did book a car to take us around some sights for a few hours, the driver was excellent and very courteous. The safest I felt in a car during my stay, so thank you Shailesh. All in all, an average hotel with premium prices. The bathroom had a great shower but smelled quite bad, as did the hallways on my floor. In-room dining was also a letdown. The food was average at best and arrived cold. Not the premium experience I was looking for (or paying for).

Service and staff were super friendly. My room was not worth what I paid. The sofas and walls had stains. The room smelled like someone smoked in there, so much I woke up w a headache. I was willing to stay an additional night only if they switched me to another room. The lobby said there were no more rooms available while Expedia said there were 5. I decided to not stay any longer and moved to another hotel.

The hotel is in a convenient location, but be careful when you book a room as some of the rooms are not renovated and show significant wear We booked a twin room and the beds were very uncomfortable as they had been used many times. The mattress was sagging. I was surprised as this quality given that this was a Taj Hotel. I complained about this, but they were unable to help me significantly. They told me that they were in the process of renovating the twin rooms, but this had not been done yet. I would not recommend booking this hotel if you need twin beds and want a good night’s sleep.

The hotel location is very central. The hotel is a very busy hotel. The hotel is very clean and elegant. The check in took a long time, the lobby was freezing they had strong air conditioning from the ceiling, I had to wait outside until my checkin process was complete. Room service was great, bed and pillows good. BUT if you’re a light sleeper this is not your hotel. I can hear everything from every corner the next door room and the corridor and the stomping of feet on the top floor, there was also a lot of parties going on in the rooms. Other than the poor sound proofing, this hotel is great.

Having stayed at multiple hotels in Mumbai over the years, this was one of the more underwhelming experiences. Check-in was extremely slow. We were asked to wait in the lounge for our room, but staff were unwelcoming and often absent. No one updated us when the room was ready, and after waiting well past the expected time, we had to track someone down — only to feel like we were inconveniencing him. Thankfully, another staff member eventually helped, but it still took another 30 minutes before we got to our room. The room itself was spacious and well-designed — definitely the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The snacks and drinks in the lounge were far below the standard I’ve experienced at other hotels. I wouldn’t pay to upgrade again. The Wi-Fi was another major issue. Even the paid premium internet constantly cut out, making business calls frustrating and nearly impossible. While a few staff members were professional, most lacked the attentiveness and polish you’d expect from a property in this category. Compared to the warm, seamless service at The Oberoi or The St. Regis, this fell far short. I wouldn’t return.

As always the hotel staff go out of their way to help the customers. Extremely polite and always smiling. Have stayed here many times and is always a pleasure. Will do so again as well. Only thing that let me down this time was a complex , not easy to use television/entertainment in room service- definitely not user friendly

Nothing stood out. Room was well cleaned but every morning the cleaners were in a rush. Every morning they kept coming and asking when will we be ready and get out so that they can clean the room. Overall the staffs were rude specially at the main gate. The person who checked us in was likewise. He had no time to take us to the room.

Checkin was slow. We were not given the rooms we had paid for. I had paid for King Room Sea View and one other room for the kids. Sakshi should have done a fair job in assigning rooms. I think rooms booked through Hotels.com do not get preference over bookings done directly through the hotel and hence are assigned sub-par accomodations. Kids room had a strong stench of cigarette smoke and Viren said "it happens" and "his housekeeping people" would take care of it and 6-hours later it was still there. Upon insisting, Utkarsh finally gave in and changed the room. Umesh (housekeeper) felt he was an extension of our household help and was very courteous and prompt in his duties. Breakfast buffet was a mess. Too many guests and too little room to fit all the hungry guests. It was very chaotic. Overall Taj did not stand up to its brand name.

Beautiful hotel, we were upgraded to the Club Floor and it was great to have access to the lounge and the staff were very nice. Atrium bar and performers were very good and the host, Mala was lovely. I wish I could have stayed a week instead of just 2 days.

It was truly a five star experience. If you are going to Mumbai, and want to be taken care of by some of the best, friendly, helpful and purely nice people, this is a great resort. A special shoutout to the staff at the 21-club - I received so much advice and helpful suggestions! If you want to have a great time - and live it up - stay at the Taj. Beware of the traffic though, give yourself time to reach your destinations.

What was most disappointing about this experience was the restaurant staff. Normally, the staff are very attentive but we found they almost ignored you. Beyond the hostess who seated you, we had to flag them down more often than not. In the Atrium lounge, I was provided the offering of tea/coffee once - and for the remainder of the few hours, the server never returned - even after I finished my tea. The breakfast and dinner buffet service was the most disappointing as dirty plates remained on tables for an extended period of time. To pay the bill, across all restaurants, you had to once again, flag down an attendant and after much time, a bill was finally produced. The only exception was the Ming Yang restaurant. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. With the delicious food, it was perfect. The rooms were spacious, bright, and not overly fragrant. Great bathroom amenities. Overall - would stay there again however, would be aware that service may be lacking. I have stayed at other Taj and other higher-end hotels such as the St. Regis, the Oberoi and service was never an issue.

I hardly get to remember peoples names but exceptional and over the top service gets top praise always. We booked the Club level to participate in the evening and daytime fun snacks. From Tushar at the Reception area, accommodating us to the most amazing room to Deepak our room attendant who made sure every ammenity was restocked to the T. Hats off to Deepak for attention to detail. He is my go to Room Attendant at the Taj Lands End. Ask for him and take care of him. good guy! The breakfast is exceptional... Everything is available if its not already laid out in the buffet area. Opens at 7 am. Great way to start your day... The seating area that overlooks the Bandstand at the higher level is nice if you don't mind the walk back and forth to the buffet. FYI - if you want Kulche let them know a day in advance. Puri is always available. Masala Chai is amazing. One suggestion would be to make the SAUNA and SPA area larger, like a entire whole level larger. Make that the GO TO feature. Thanks!

Excellent staff. Lots of dining opportunities which are a tad expensive. Easily accessible by a wide variety of transportation including Uber. Some rooms offer a great view of the sea. Area is safe and quite busy well into the night.

Great Taj property with Taj’s outstanding service A The buffet breakfast could use some additional seating as the wait time was a bit extra, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. I have a 2 year old and they made sure we were comfortable. Also the facility has kids play area and the little furry friends (bunnies) were added addition. Can’t say enough about the great location of Bandra West. Wonderful shopping and eateries around. Also accessibility to airport and south Mumbai is great.

My recent stay at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, left much to be desired, particularly in terms of dining experience at their Vista restaurant. For example, some of the main dishes were left at the end of the table, and we had to help ourselves; desserts were served without clearing the mains’ dishes; desserts were served without spoons; for breakfast while, some guests were given extra attention others were not attended even after repeated requests, we were given a table with previous guests used glasses and had to request 3 different people for water even after highlighting our child is thirsty, etc. Despite efforts made by the management to address concerns raised during our stay (such as having to wait for hours after arrival within the designated check-out time for our two interconnected rooms), the service quality at Vista Restaurant remained poor. The menu choices were limited and uninspiring, and the overall dining experience fell short of the standards we have come to expect from Taj properties. Even my young daughter expressed dissatisfaction with the food, making meal arrangements outside the hotel necessary throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel failed to address the issue of clearing food trays from the corridors outside the rooms promptly (the food stayed in the corridors for over 12 hours on some occasions, and we showed the director of rooms those pictures). It smelled bad often in the corridors.

We had a wonderful time at Taj lands End!! We spend the republic day weekend there, and it was just perfect. Amazing service from the start, smooth check-in and a very warm welcome. Perfect surroundings, everything was clean and comfortable! The wellness circle and gym was great. And the breakfast was outstanding, still thinking about it. An extra thank you to Rikita, who made our stay extra special! Would love to go back

• Room Cleanliness: The room was not up to Taj standards - it was dusty, dirty and generally unclean. • Hotel Maintenance: The overall property appeared poorly maintained, giving the impression that there may be insufficient funding allocated for upkeep. • Breakfast Service: The food was tasteless, and despite empty tables being available, we had to wait in long queues each day which was very inconvenient. However, I want to specifically recognize Mr Chouhan, Housekeeping Manager, who was outstanding. He went above and beyond to address our concerns, did everything possible to keep us comfortable, and was the key factor in maintaining any sense of guest loyalty during our stay. His dedication to customer satisfaction is commendable and sets an excellent example for the team. I hope these issues can be addressed to bring the property back in line with Taj's usual high standards, while ensuring staff like Mr Chouhan are acknowledged for their great work. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

What was most disappointing about this experience was the restaurant staff. Normally, the staff are very attentive but we found they almost ignored you. Beyond the hostess who seated you, we had to flag them down more often than not. In the Atrium lounge, I was provided the offering of tea/coffee once - and for the remainder of the few hours, the server never returned - even after I finished my tea. The breakfast and dinner buffet service was the most disappointing as dirty plates remained on tables for an extended period of time. To pay the bill, across all restaurants, you had to once again, flag down an attendant and after much time, a bill was finally produced. The only exception was the Ming Yang restaurant. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. With the delicious food, it was perfect. The rooms were spacious, bright, and not overly fragrant. Great bathroom amenities. Overall - would stay there again however, would be aware that service may be lacking. I have stayed at other Taj and other higher-end hotels such as the St. Regis, the Oberoi and service was never an issue.

Stayed for 2 nights on the 19th floor. While the lobby and service areas are great, the rooms are very dated and need a deep clean. My room had dirty furnishings (sofa and curtains) and a very soft bed. We did book a car to take us around some sights for a few hours, the driver was excellent and very courteous. The safest I felt in a car during my stay, so thank you Shailesh. All in all, an average hotel with premium prices. The bathroom had a great shower but smelled quite bad, as did the hallways on my floor. In-room dining was also a letdown. The food was average at best and arrived cold. Not the premium experience I was looking for (or paying for).
