Not much. This place does not look like it looks in the pictures. Was sold a spa treatment package only to have construction going on throughout the treatments. Showed hotel staff that this isn’t the hotel I paid for judging by the pictures to which they dismissed me. Happy to pay if I receive what the pictures portray but it simply isn’t. Only one of the hotel restaurants is open and charge $10 nzd for a can of soda. The nicest staff here are the security out the front. Please don’t stay here off the pictures provided. There is construction going on everywhere and I would expect hotel prices for soda but $10nzd is a joke.

This property alleges to be a 5 star hotel, it is not. Not even a 4 star hotel. The building is in disrepair. The beach is really gross dirty and littered (which is not the fault of the hotel but just be warned) The pool is in no way luxurious. Very uninviting in fact, From the moment one arrives the energy is hectic - the staff seems overburdened. This same overburdened vibe definitely extends to the breakfast. Too many rooms and guests for that space an staff to accommodate. The breakfast is extremely stressful and the atmosphere is nowhere near a "5 star experience" which all would be fine if the quality was reflected in a low price for the rooms... but NO. These rooms ain't cheap. It has been famously said "you get what you pay for.".. but IMO at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach Hotel.. you get far less than what you pay for. being generous giving it 3 stars. I stayed for a week but this final day was an add on bc I had a sudden change of plans and had to stay on.

Room wasn’t fully serviced, pool area wasn’t clean, we had a beach view room but the windows were so dirty & there was scaffolding, so pointless having the view. The restaurant service was terrible, we waited for 2 drinks for nearly 30mins and ended up cancelling our order. Not worth the money to stay in this hotel. Only positive was the front of house and team as we entered the hotel.

Overall stay was very nice, got free room upgrade however there are still room for improvement as this is presented as 5star hotel. Staff is trying to be nice and helpful but many time did something silly. Example: we requested for a water. Boy brought a water but no glass. We requested to book a business office for a meeting. One guy confirmed it and at the time of meeting other said it is reserved by someone else. I ordered room-service meal and reported to pay by card. So boy brought me a meal but didn't have a card machine.

This was the worse decision my husband and I made! We arrived at 230am after a 19 hour flight, our room on reservation stayed non smoking and check in time is 3pm. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and we were told to wait another 40 mins to get in. We moved into our room, it was a smoking floor, when I selected non smoking due to my allergies. They then shifted us to another floor and the bed sheets had human hair all over and the bathroom floor, we had them come and re clean and by this time it is 3:45am. The restaurants and pool outdoor area is fully under construction and noisy. The staff members are very rude and not helpful. I also booked a couples massage and had the worse experience! They almost twisted my ankle due to their inexperience. The woman who massages me, ended up stabbing me with her nails in my arm, to the point I have internal bleeding and I let the hotel know and they never cared or called back like they promised. We spoke to a gentleman name shivam and he is horrible! I have pictures of my arm and my complaint went ignored. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again if it was free. ITS DIRTY! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Everything looks good in pictures and information when booking the hotel. Once in place, it is less flattering. Slow check-in. TV in the room that doesn't work. Minibar with only water. Pool where birds gather to drink water. A bar with only one type of beer. Food OK but slow service. Recurring questions about which room number you have when sitting by the pool. The area outside the hotel was shabby. Canceled the last two nights (out of four). This because I found a last minute offer at The Oberoi Mumbai for the same price as Novotel Juhu Beach...

There was a smoking zone near kids' pool, no proper changing rooms or shower for the swimming pool, and the service level was very bad at the breakfast area (square). most of the time no operator picks up the phone. I had to call 3 times for luggage pickup at the time of check-out. This hotel has a good location, but everything else needs an upgrade.

We had to wait 30mn to do the check-in. Once in the room, when we openned a drawer, it was full of garbage. Compensation: an access to the lounge. The pool is more used by the pigeons than the customer (be careful walking around, it is full of dirt) Some customers were though allowed to swim with t shirt and underwear. The staff was hard to reach and barely spoke English ( a part of the managers) The room was spacious and quiet. The bad was hard but the pillows amazing. First and last time staying in a Novotel.

Considering how much we paid for a 2-night stay - the property did not match expectations of the price. It's definitely not a 5-star property more like a 3-star hotel. The carpets throughout the hotel felt very dirty and one of the pillows in the room had a huge yellow stain. The bar area was in extremely bad condition - it was so dirty as well as the surrounding outside area in the property - so much of industrial waste everywhere. Felt cheated with the amount that was paid for a supposed 5-star hotel. Needs a lot of improvement.

The hotel was definately not of what i would expect for a 5 star hotel. Minifridge was dirty and out of order. The bin in the shower was very dirty and rusty. Shower cubicle was tired looking. Infgrained dirt. The food at the hotel was pricey. And wasnt great. Staff were all lovely and polite. Made up for the hotels shortfall. More like a 3.5/4 star hotel.

This was the absolute worst hotel. There was mold on the walls, bug feces in the bed, ants everywhere, stained carpets, and even saw a mouse run down the hallway. Didn't even sleep there one night (and we were booked for 16) and ended up walking down the beach to find another hotel. They refused to reimburse us and I had to get All Accor involved to get our money back, which we are STILL waiting for.

Disappointing. We had high hopes for this hotel as we were staying for a friend's wedding. Check-in was slow despite a number of staff being on the desk. When asking if we could speed up check-in as we were attending a wedding, we were asked to join a different queue. Eventually the woman managing wedding check-in agreed to check us in. Bags were meant to be brought to the room. We waited but eventually got the bags ourselves. Dirty! The hotel floors and rooms were dirty. They had not been vacuumed properly if at all, and the sheets had blood stains on them (noticed late at night) Gross. I did not feel like the hotel was taken care of. Rooms are dated. Hotel is also dated and needs refurb. Peeling paint etc. We enjoyed the wedding as was catered by outside caterers. Overall, I would not stay here again in its current state.

The most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in my life. Slow check in and check out, nearly an hour each. Bringing items to the room like extra blankets to try and make the bed more comfortable took 4 hours.

The service was really poor, I had to fight for the ocean view room after paying extra for it. I was told that the hotel location is diagonal and only 1 room has the full ocean view from their room. That’s unfair as they have flagged lots of rooms as ocean view and get customers to pay more for them when their is hardly any view. In my case I had to tilt my head from the corner of my window that’s when I could see a little bit of ocean and they kept telling me that it is an ocean view room. It was very unfair. Additionally this hotel wasn’t 5 star by any means. I will never book this hotel again.

Great location and great staff. However I was surprised by the finishing of the rooms. It was not the finishing of a Novotel hotel with cheap wood and cupboards. Our fridge was broken and the staff member claimed it was fine. The card key kept on failing. Very annoying but staff were lovely

This is a very nice property, but we experienced several rough edges. For example, our toilet was leaking and the Hotel sent someone to fix it twice with no success. The air-conditioning was also malfunctioning and they couldn’t fix it. So at the end of the day we had to change rooms. The Sand pan restaurant was hit a mess. We wound up having to send our food back a couple of times.

I booked an oceanview room and there was a lot of chaos while checking in. First they assigned me a room that had the windows closed with an Ocean Poster (instead of any view) as the hotel was under construction from that side of the building. When I requested for a better one (as I have paid for it), they said there are no other rooms available. Until I escalated to the hotel manager, this issue was not resolved and I could not check in until 3:30 pm. They also tried to give me a room on 1st floor which was a smoking floor, I went to check it and I could not breathe due to the smoking smell throughout on the floor. Plus the reception staff working on my check-in was extremely slow and rude and had no idea what he was doing. The property is good, good view and amenities but they really need to work on service piece.

Would not recommend anyone to stay here. The area is dirty and so is the hotel. The reception staff were unhelpful and have very clear problems with communication and decent customer service. I encountered several issues. Check in took almost two hours. They tried to charge my sister city tax even though she had already paid this on her booking. Our bedroom had scaffolding right outside and we were only moved once I complained. Bed sheets were dusty and the rooms had a smell. Very disappointed with my stay.

It could have been better, we stayed as a family and unfortunately the staff whether it was the front desk or room service was really lagging behind. I personally feel the standards have dropped since the last time I was there, either the hotel is understaffed or they’re not well trained and efficient. Every little thing that we required in the room would come after almost 7-8 calls persistently made to the room service or front desk. Hotel management can definitely do better.

When I arrived my room was not ready. I had paid for a day in advance so to hold my room and make sure I could get an early check in because I was arriving at 4:30am. When I arrived they told me that the room I had paid for was not available and that they could get me into a different room for the evening. I just needed to sleep for a few hours. I was exhausted. Not to sound pretentious but I had booked a king size bed for my stay and when I arrived to the replacement room it was not the queen size bed the front desk person told me it was two twin size beds he then told me to quote " Push them together " and that this was an upgrade to what I had purchased. THIS WAS NOT AN UPGRADE! I'm very disappointed on customer service! I was transferred to the correct room the following day. But........when booking through hotels.com and having multiple emails with the hotel prior......why am I paying for two nights to make sure I had the correct room when I was given something else. I would defiantly stay some place else if I was to do this again. There are too many options and this place needs to train their front desk to do a better job.

J’ai bénéficié d’une belle chambre vue mer, spacieuse, propre dans l’ensemble. Gros point négatif : le petit déjeuner. La salle est beaucoup trop petite, pas de place assise, je devais attendre qu’une table se libère mais étant pressé par le temps et un rendez vous professionnel, j’ai demandé de prendre un café à emporter. 2eme point noir, une seule machine à café à disposition qui met un temps fou à sortir une tasse donc temps d’attente encre une fois ridicule. On m’apporte mon café dans un gobelet avec un couvercle beaucoup trop grand donc impossible de partir en voiture avec. Je demande un couvercle adapté, un serveur part et reviens 5min plus tard avec un mug en porcelaine…bref je suis parti sans déjeuner. 2eme jour meme chose, j’ai pu m’asseoir mais la salle de petit déjeuner était dans un état lamentable, des liquides au sol épongés par des serviettes laissées à même le sol…les tables pas débarrassées…service totalement dépassé. Côté qualité et variété du petit déjeuner, passable. L’environnement de l’hôtel est bien, au calme, sauf qu’il y a des rassemblements sur la plage la nuit et cela peut être assez bruyant (j’ai eu droit aux feux d’artifice à 1h30 du matin). Bref je regarderai d’autres établissements la prochaine fois que je viens à Mumbai.

Fantastic hotel and great location, right on Juhu beach. Room was fine with a great view over looking the sea. The only down side was the service at breakfast. On one occasion we asked for coffee 3 times and it didn't arrive. Only when we raised our concerns and said we would be complaining that it arrived. Almost on all occasions there were no serviettes at breakfast, till we asked. Food and drinks at the hotel are very expensive which led us to eat out more than we would have wanted.

Novotel was famous for its huge magnificent breakfast menu.. but post covid this was my 2nd stay at Novotel and they are still limited on their breakfast menu. The taste has also gone downhill. Other than this, the service is excellent and no other complaints or suggestions as everything else was perfect !

This is a decent hotel on Juhu beach. We liked the hotel but we had difficulty with the Front desk. First, the clerk gave us a city-view room whereas we paid for a premier ocean-view room. The room was not very clean either. After some argument, they changed us to a 7th floor partial ocean-view room. Second, no one gave us a written or oral description of all the amenities in the hotel. We had to ask people to understand what is included which was very time consuming. Third, front desk clerks always gave run-around for the simplest of questions. At $250 a night, it was pricey and it is not in the same league as Leela palace or Trident. Food was extremely pricey like european prices. There are a few restaurants within a half a kilometer that we used regularly. We do not plan to go back to this hotel.

I enjoyed a great stay here for one night following my flight out. The food and dessert table was incredible, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the shuttle to the airport was easy and at a great value. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and clean. Great breakfast. But svs is very slow how to call 3/4 times for just pillows. Waited about 30min for coffee packets. Asked for laundry. Said it would take 8 hours!
