For years, Ibis had been my 1st choice for overnight stopovers but I drifted away about ten years ago when a couple of very mediocre nights in Germany made me realise they just weren’t trying. However, I thought they deserved another chance so, needing a reliable overnight stop convenient to Delhi Airport, we booked one night at Ibis in Aerocity. I’m agog at how they came about pricing the room at £80; it was just as tired, worn, flimsy, smelly and dated as those that had last turned me away from Ibis…when the rooms were barely a third of that price. The room was absurdly overpriced, with a charm more akin to what I expect of the dozens of £20 two-star hotels nearby. To add to the negativity, breakfast was extra and their shuttle to airport was £9. Only consider if you want a pool.

Was ok for a night there but the hotel is over crowded, the check in counter was busy and took a lot of time to find my booking. The room was a bit of walk from lift. the lift is also very crowded and very small compared to the size of the hotel.

No probs with the hotel except the pool attendant is rather militant. He didn't want to admit me in the pool at 750 pm and also claimed I didn't have the correct attire. In the morning was also rather rude telling me to sign the pool form when all I was doing was clarifying where exactly to sign. Room didn't have a fridge and had about 5 power interruptions during the night. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Good selection at breakfast for India.

July 2nd stay-Is a very convenient and good value layover hotel at the airport. We take their shuttle service which was quick. The guy who picked up was very helpful with the baggage. He came running to help with the heavy bags. July 13th stay- the guy who picked me up at the airport was not at all helpful with the bags. I had to drag the heavy suitcases and get them to the car. After flying for nearly twenty hours (with emergency landing at Sharjah), it would have been nice to have a friendly helpful driver.

Airconditioning didn’t work in elevators. Noise of construction going on. Check in and front desk always short staffed and had to wait for extending stays and other interaction. Could be value for money if these improvements are made

They couldn't find my booking as they search by first name and I booked as Dave and my Passport says David. Eventually sorted. It makes sense I guess as all Sheikhs are Singh. Room was dirty. Hair and grime in shower and wash basin from previous guest. No hot water in shower despite running for ages.

Ibis is known for small rooms and affordable prices. This Ibis was below standard of the Ibis in Europe, however they charge even more than 5 star hotels. A simple room with fiber bathroom was too little of the aminity for the price I paid.

Hotel was good location and niceish room. "Sofa" seating on the side had a small hole in it but large size room. Somewhat expected with a somewhat budget brand. Walls are thin so could hear others in the corridor. Shower room was like UK style university shower halls. Was essentially like a cupboard. Aircon heated the room instead of cooled despite wall instructions stating lower temp could be minimum 21°C (only went to 24°C and room temperature was already 22°C). Had a maintenance technician attend who didn't understand. Remote couldn't turn TV off despite controlling the satellite box. Had to manually turn off at the socket.

Ibis aerocity provides good comfort stay, with standard rooms. The service was really good and the staff was very hospitable. All my requests were accomodated in good time without having to call back or follow up. Really appreciate the staff for their promptness

I had a really frustrating experience at this hotel. Check-in took 30 minutes, not just because there were people ahead of me, but because the receptionist was painfully slow. I had two reservations, which she saw, yet the next day when I returned from an early morning excursion, I had to check in again. Another 20-minute wait, filling out the same form, only for her to ask me if I wanted the same room—when I had never even checked out in the first place! To make matters worse, I’m in a wheelchair and using crutches. I specifically requested a room near the elevator for obvious reasons. What did they do? Gave me a room halfway down the hallway. When leaving Aerocity, someone charged me for something—I don’t know who or what—but they wouldn’t let us leave without paying. In the end, I gave them the 20 rupees I had, and they let us go. Overall, it was a horrible experience. The only reason I would ever stay here again is because it’s in Aerocity. But for the service and treatment? Absolutely not.

The check in was terrible. Staff was rude! They took 90 minutes to check us in that the people behind were getting upset. We had booked two rooms and the front desk staff couldn’t find the second room (though we showed proof of the booking and two rooms under our itinerary number). It took more than an hour and a supervisor to come in to finally get the room. Their explanation of why they cousins find the second room was not satisfactory - they said it was some error. The rooms are really small. The bathroom is like the one in a cruise ship or an airplane - it is so crammed! I am not sure how they get so many good reviews. For the price I paid, there are many other options available.

I have stayed here a few times, check in super slow can take 15/20 minutes to check in. They have a luggage storage but won’t store laptop most Ibis do. The room are a nice size. Good speed WiFi not wort spending £100 plus as the service and room quality not worth the cost especially we tons of options within 5 mins walk

My experience at this hotel was really bad. First they showed double standards when it came to checking timings.I had to check in earlier so I called them to request about the same like any normal sane person would do. They agreed on the call and when I went there they completely refused the service and made me wait fot 5hrs. The room service was terrible. You keep calling on the number, nobody picks up and never call back. When u complaint about it then they debate with you for no reason and come up with illogical explanations. Food is tasteless and overpriced. Also I couldn't order food till 11pm in the night bcoz the room service was not picking up the call so I had to Zomato it. I requested for the room cleaning thrice in a day and nobody came. When I complained and fought then they sent someone on the next day (not on the same day). You pay so much money, you atleast expect a comfortable and peaceful stay. It becomes very irritating and annoying when u have to fight for every basic necessities. Rooms were also pretty decent, not very good or anything special. Overpriced and very congested. Bathrooms were so small that they didn't looked like a hotel room bathroom, were giving more of a airplane bathroom due to such small space. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. They should really work on thir services and hospitality.

This hotel was a big disappointment - I had expected more of an IBIS hotel. The lobby looks great but when you get into the corridors and rooms, you realise how tired and shabby it is. Plus there is a reason why the bathrooms are not photographed for the listing - they are like little plastic cubicles. The rooms are furnished with cheap fittings and the carpets in the corridors are disgusting. We ordered a pizza via room service and I can honestly say it was the most expensive pizza in India and by a mile, the worst - no care had been taken to make it and it didn't taste of much. The only good thing about the hotel was its proximity to the food market round the corner where we could get a decent pizza for a lot less money. Breakfast was decent, to be fair. I would not stay here again.

Room was clean however the body wash container was almost empty. Also, I think since the hotel is next to the airport and attracts mostly travelers, they should offer a personal toiletries kit to guests, things like toothpaste, toothbrush and cheap disposable razor. Breakfast buffet was amazing, everyone staying here should have breakfast in the hotel. Check-in experience and the staff was great, will stay there again if I visit New Delhi again.

Smelly corridor and stinking hotel room so bad we had to move rooms. Hassle you don’t want! New room the toilet broke late at night when we wanted to sleep so had to get this fixed when my husband was trying to still rest in the morning. Only one room key so have to stay joined at hip as all lifts (even to exit) don’t work without a keycard neither does the things in the room. The hotel was in poor condition. The location although close to the airport will cost you over R1000 to get to them. There is a much cheaper local bus that is R40 and just does the airport to the Areopark

Great location close to the airport and some good restaurants (we liked “PAUL” in particular). Super friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for a short stay in convenient airport distance. Currently getting an overhaul which feels needed for the “good enough”, small rooms. Served us well for our 1 night pre departure. Personally not a fan of the “room connection option” doors which are always noisy with the neighbouring unit. Asked upfront for a separated room but apparently not available.
