The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi

The NCR region has two hotels operating under the name “Leela Ambience,” which has created significant confusion among customers. This ambiguity has had real financial consequences, with guests frequently booking or traveling to the wrong property, resulting in unnecessary expenses and considerable inconvenience.

From start to finish, our stay was wonderful. The taxi service was exceptional, the room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

The room was not up to the mark. Toilet flush was not working properly. Wash basin taps were not proper, but was not working properly. Drains Were not working properly. It was not a five star hotel experience Though breakfast was good

This experience at Leela fell well short of my expectations. I have always been a big fan of the brand and have stayed previously at The Leela Goa (now St. Regis), The Leela Palace Delhi, and most recently The Leela Palace Udaipur. I was attending a wedding in nearby areas of Delhi and booked three rooms immediately when I saw Leela, but the experience turned out to be very disappointing. Most of the rooms had a strong damp smell, and unfortunately this was the case across the majority of rooms we were shown. My wife was taken to see several rooms, and in the end we had no option but to upgrade to a large suite, as it was the only one without the odor. The upgrade cost was almost four times higher than cancelling and re-booking again based on the price visible on the website, which was frustrating. The staff and service were also far below expectations. The day after the wedding, I was unwell and my wife tried to take some fruit up to the room for me, only to be challenged in a very disrespectful manner by a manager. A few days later, the same manager confronted us again when a medical therapist briefly met us at breakfast, despite us having already taken prior permission from the staff who welcomed us. In addition, the general areas of the hotel feel dated and in need of an update. The only positive part of the stay was the food and service at Delhi 32, which were truly top-notch.
