Lots of parking available. Downside is that there wasn't elevator to go to other floors. This inn is a bit dated, but has all you need for a quick stay.

A great budget hotel, well located with friendly front desk staff. Pet friendly rooms are on the first floor and there was not an elevator so if you have mobility issues, be aware.

I will never stay at this property again. We came to just stay the night on our way back to Alberta. The parking lot in the front and side were full upon arrival and had to park in the back. During the night my vehicle was broken into and all our luggage, cooler and 8 beach towels were stolen. All my kids clothes were stolen as well as mine and my husbands. The man at the front desk didn’t seem to care, didn’t know how to work the cameras to look at the footage. The other hotels beside and behind didn’t know how their cameras worked. They know they have some druggies and homeless in the area but have no security and poor cameras to watch the property grounds and the vehicles that are parked right against their building. The room itself…the bathroom was so small that you either had to open the door all the way and leave it open just to go to the bathroom or wedge yourself around the door to close it. The toilet was very load when flushed and ran on for quite a long time. The bathtub had a ton of broken tiles. Water pressure was great on the shower so good though that there was a lot of water on the floor. Carpet was very soft and thick. Too much pressure on the sink that it splashed everywhere.

The staff ensured I had a room on the ground floor, as I can't manage the stairs. The staff was very friendly and kind! The location is easily accessible to the hospital (which is the reason I was there). My only issue was there is no accessibility ramp, but there are only a few stairs into the property

Excellent water pressure in the shower. We were not aware of the fact that there were no elevators. The front door was very heavy combined with negotiating the stairs just to get to the check in desk was very challenging for my husband with mobility challenges.

We have stayed in this hotel many times. The staff is warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and well kept. It’s not fancy but the price is right and the location is perfect, right between ur son’s place and the shopping district, on the edge of downtown with great shops and restaurants and the best Denny’s ever in the same parking lot.

Everywhere I looked there was a small brown stain … on the lights switch, bathroom door, bathtub, walls. I love sandman but this was the dirtiest one I’ve stayed at.

There was a couple yelling at each other in the hallway at 3 am one night. They had to call the police (not the hotel's fault), but it took around 20 minutes for them to arrive and tell them to lower their voices. The next night, there was a kid screaming nonstop, and the clerk said, "Your mom is coming", so someone left a kid alone for god knows how long. Just very sketchy and weird interactions around. The ceiling of the shower was covered with dark mold marks.

Quick and easy check in, friendly staff. Room was very clean, A/C worked great. Room was quiet, no noise from the halls. Bathroom was very, very small, you had to maneuver around the door to get in and close it, but not a big deal. Would definitely stay here again.

I thought it has Denny’s (24 hours) right front of the hotel is a pros, but my room window was facing to Denny’s and people coming in/out there were so loud even after midnight, which woke me up multiple times. I would recommend having earplugs if you were sensitive to the noise when you sleep.

This hotel DESPERATELY needs some TLC. There is mould in the bathrooms on the floor, tiles and ceiling. The shower had tiny black bugs in it. The shower and toilet are in the "bathroom" with the sink outside in the main area. BEWARE if you are anything over 120 lbs this space is EXTREMELY tight, making it very difficult for anyone overweight or with mobility issues. The hotel also does NOT have an elevator nor is that noted anywhere. The location is a short walk from the main street with numerous restaurants, that said, the walk at night does go through what appears to be a bit of a seedy area of town. I dont reccomend walking alone at night. Overall would not reccomend this hotel.

Stayed 3 nights, couldn’t sleep most of the time due to noisy parking lot. OLD single pane aluminum framed window almost fell out when I opened it. Hotel was too hot, needed window open the whole time. Stains on carpet and chairs.

When I arrived the staff were drinking in the parking lot and followed me in for check in. I went to my room on the first floor all the lights were on inside I went to lock the door and the dead bolt was broken and did not work. Requested to change room. The pictures on the website did not reflect to what I checked into. The staff continued to drink in the parking lot with music from an open car door all evening. Had I not travelled from out of town and given the time of night I would have left instead of just requesting a room change.

Great hotel and rooms. Unfortunately too close to the rail line. Always ask for a room overlooking the park, not the back as otherwise you will need earplugs.

If you are in Kamloops for hospital visits or appointments the location is great. Denny’s restaurant right beside. We were down for curling so the location was excellent to get to the Kamloops Curling Club.

This hotel was just a one night stop over - definitely not worth the price for what you get. Room Was vey dusty and not wiped down - makes you wonder what else wasn’t cleaned properly. Area was kind of shady. Husband woke up constantly during the night to make sure no one broke into the car. Next morning I heard other hotel guests had their car broken into.

Price was decent for the location, also shares parking lot with a Dennys, so great for breakfast, property definitely a little dated, staff very friendly, we didn’t have a problem with, but lots of homeless folks wandering around and thru the parking lot, we did however make sure left nothing in the vehicle
Price was decent for the location, also shares parking lot with a Dennys, so great for breakfast, property definitely a little dated, staff very friendly, we didn’t have a problem with, but lots of homeless folks wandering around and thru the parking lot, we did however make sure left nothing in the vehicle

It is not the nicest, nor in the nicest part of town but it’s convenient to where we like to go, shares a parking lot with the very best Denny’s, and the staff is welcoming. It’s our go to place to stay when in Kamloops.

Our air conditioner did not cool the room and made sleeping difficult as it was 34C outside! Our coffee maker did not work either. The bonus was the working ice machine on the first floor. Denny's is right next door for convenience.

We have stayed in this hotel many times. The staff is warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and well kept. It’s not fancy but the price is right and the location is perfect, right between ur son’s place and the shopping district, on the edge of downtown with great shops and restaurants and the best Denny’s ever in the same parking lot.

The room itself was ok but I stayed there two days and no one made up my room for the second day. PLUS , the ice machine did not work, not close to any good dining other than Denny's which is over rated and expensive. Was on the 3rd floor, no elevator, walk up only, parking was limited. I would not stay there again, rather would pay a bit more for a better room and get a breakfast included room as this place does not offer any breakfast at all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, however the facility itself is in poor condition. There was no elevator so we had to carry two suitcases up two flights of stairs. The bathroom in our room was not cleaned well, and the room itself was not the cleanest. The air conditioner emitted a strange smell and was extremely noisy. We ate at Denny’s next door, which was a convenient location, however the food was not great, so would recommend eating elsewhere if possible.

Hotel and room were very clean and presented well. Bathroom could use some upgrade though. Dennys located in parking lot which is great however they should at least offer a discount for guests staying at the hotel, especially for breakfast.

So I had to stay the night in Kamloops and I wasn’t willing to spend a lot of money, as it was just a place to sleep after the Family birthday party for me and my two girls. Looking for a lower priced property is always a crapshoot because, well, bugs! I chose Sandman because the name brand is a place that I can trust, and I’ve stayed at many Sandmans, including the Sandman Signature in Kamloops when my Work paid for it lol. The staff were absolutely amazing. Gotta say, though the room was a cheaper room for sure. The bathtub had some issues with peeling, but the girls showered in it, and they seemed very happy (BTW my “girls” are 30. Another thing to let you know about, is the 24 hour Denny’s right across from our room. I put an earplugs and managed to sleep through it all, but apparently it woke my girls up all night long. Especially the after bar rush to have Denny’s. But on a good note, we were able to go to Denny’s for breakfast in the morning. lol. They had a great little fruit plate and pancakes were good too. So overall, if you’re looking for an affordable hotel to book for a short stay, this is a perfect place. Clean, no bugs, but definitely no special options besides Wi-Fi, and morning coffee, which is always good. Considering I was in the Okanogan on a Saturday night, I definitely got my moneys worth. Thank you, staff. You were amazing, and I’m very grateful for everything you did for us. ❤️

Very dirty. Bathtub was gross with hair not just in the drain. No shampoo or conditioner. Carpet made your white socks black. The ‘business centre’ is a joke. Computer uses windows 7 and so had to ask for a keyboard. Poorly maintained but a good reason for $150/night vs 330 at the competition Bed was comfy at least.

The building is quite old and outdated. As soon as you get in it smelled weird. The room was not the nicest. The bathroom super old and definitely needs a renovation (like the entire building). When you open the bathroom door, it touches the shower curtain rod, it’s so small and tight. The bathroom sink is outside the actual bathroom. All in all I would not recommend that hotel to anybody. I didn’t feel comfortable at all.
