Foyer beautiful and nice smell. Room dated and bathroom needs a total overall. No parking on site, which after a 3.5 hour journey was disappointing.

Nice hotel, room was great, but no parking available. Had to go park in a multi story in the town centre and walk. Cost me £30 for overnight parking .

Fantastic clean hotel and staff were great. The lifts let it down a bit as it took ages for 1 lift to arrive and when it did it seemed to have a mind if it's own stopping on floors where no one was. We had executive room and was super..very comfy

Very good stay, staff are very friendly and service is good. Bar area is being refurbished but will be good when finished. Parking is only 8 minutes walk away and all my previous experiences with the Armouries car park have always been good. Easy walk into City Centre and rooms are quiet.

Good location 10 mins walk from station & shops/bars & restaurants Good food & choice of drinks, room clean & tidy. Only 1 lift working on check in but fixed a few hours later. Another enjoyable stay in Leeds.

Excellent value for money in comparison to some other pricier hotels in Leeds. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't the great, and the parking situation was really not clear on booking - car park is a 10 minute walk away at the docks and you pay every time tou leave so if going out in the day more than once, you pay more. Probably would only stay again if we were going without the car/not going to need the car much, also wouldn't bother paying the extra for breakfast. If none of that is an issue for you then its a lovely little hotel for a very reasonable price.

Comfortable stay in an executive room, easy check in and check out process and discounted parking at Royal Armouries has always been safe to date. Easy walking access to city centre and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from in immediate vicinity.

Hotel was absolutely spotless from the second we walked in the door. All members of staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, beds comfy and warm.

The room was not very clean, there were marks in the bathroom, on the walls and the sheets were dirty.

The rooms are very tired and in desperate need of a refresh, think peeling paint, and holes covered in an entirely different shade of putty to the paint. Our bathroom was pretty disgusting, with marks (looking like wee splashback) all over the wall by the toilet, including around the toilet roll holder, and back of the door. The bathroom door HAD to be fully closed, otherwise you got smacked in the face with it if you were sitting on the toilet.

Room was unclean, bathroom was unclean, sink didnt drain well, reported this to Muhammad on check out as arrived late and didnt inspect bathroom on arrival

Nice hotel but our room was a bit on the small side. The bathroom was a bit dated and the shower wasn't great. The bed is comfy so we had a good night's sleep. I would prefer a 12pm check out too.

Tired room and noisy, rooms need an update

Short beds our legs were hanging off at the end and small rooms.

Great to stay overnight if ur not so picky! Bad interior in the rooms and the wind on the 6th floor sounded like we had a window open!

Modern big lobby, had the executive double on the 9th floor, great views of the city, never heard a sound. Bed was very comfortable, good pillows and air conditioning, can't fault anything, did not get chance to eat at the hotel. There is a Sainsbury's outside the hotel and a few bars, 5 min walk into Leeds centre

Property was clean but signs of wear and tear in the rooms. The hotel was unfortunately very noisy and had no noise cancellation. We were woken up by another guests alarm going off, then the next night we were woken up by doors slamming and people speaking at 3am. That morning we were then woken up to the sound of pipes in the room. Very disappointed for the price. It's expected that you can sleep well in a hotel

Tired and Poorly Maintained but Comfortable. Shower weak, Water RED HOT (Burnt my partner), both sink taps in our room fitted incorrectly/broken. Dirty room condition. Excellent location, cracking view and comfy bed.

Very happy with out 2 night stay in one of the executive rooms bed was comfy and chocolate and drinks in the fridge was a nice touch will be back

Lobby was really nice, however the curtains were torn in several places. The gap under the door was large enough to see under meaning the room was never dark. The bed was okay however the pillows were basically rocks.

One memeber of staff on check in creating queues. Bed was the smallest double I have ever seen. Shower gel was difficult to get from the container. Hairdryer was plugged in and when switching on it crackled and died. This could have been very dangerous. Key card would not work on the second night. View from the window in thw room amazing!

We stayed the weekend for my birthday. Nice quiet room, room 906. Didn't hear any noise. Upgraded to a King size bed and the facilities were good. I was annoyed to see that the room was also available for the same price to include breakfast via Groupon! On the Saturday night, we had ordered a takeaway from FoodHub and I went down to reception to ask them to ring my room when the food had been delivered. I gave the male receptionist my room number and he wrote it down and said he would do so. A lot of time had gone past and I rang the takeaway to see where my order was and they informed me that the food was dropped off 20 minutes ago. So I went downstairs and saw my food sat on the counter. I asked the receptionist why didn't he ring me and he claims he rang our room twice and we never answered. I'm sorry but he NEVER rang. I even picked up the phone in our room to make sure that there was a dial tone. I'm not sure what room number he rang, but it was definitely not mine. The food was cold by the time I went to investigate as it had been at this point, over 30 minutes had passed and I was really annoyed with the receptionist's attitude. He kept saying that he had rang our room twice. It never ever rang. I think the hotel needs to check their phone lines if this is the case but I conclude that he did not ring the correct room number. This whole episode almost ruined my birthday weekend as all we wanted was a lovely night in.

We had a lovely stay, the room was nice and big and the bed was comfy. The only downside is that when we checked in, we were told checkout was at 12pm and this was written on our room card. At 11:30am we had loud knocking and a very angry voice saying ‘hotel management, open your door’. We were told that we should have checked out at 11am. I explained that we were told 12pm and showed her the card which said 12pm. We were just told ‘that’s fine’, but it just made us both feel a bit off that it had happened.

Stayed 19th July, checked our 20th...the you man on reception when checking out was lovely...took time to have conversation, was interested and very helpful. He is a credit to your hotel!

This hotel is great. They are so friendly and helpful and will do anything to make you feel welcome.

Check in was horrendous. We arrived at15:00 only to be met with a queue out of reception and out of the front doors of the hotel . Not enough staff to support the check in process. Very disappointing…

Some light bulbs not working. Shower head was loose on the wall and most of the pressure was lost due to the water coming out from the back. They are the fixed type so needed to be taken off to rectify. If I was staying another night I would have requested it to be fixed or moved. On a pus side, reception guy was nice and helpful and gave me a complimentary late checkout.

Door cards didn’t work despite going back and forth to reception to sort. Neighbours having a party all night, rang reception who did very little. Didn’t get a minutes sleep so won’t be returning/recommending.

Disappointed on this occasion. Huge que and only one person on reception as I arrived with another for part of it. Almost robotic speak on trying to find out when can get in room. Bed wasn't very comphy on this occasion too. Didn't sleep well. Ended up checking out at 6am. Jus wanted to go home. Hope it improves for next time. Never had issues in the past so disappointed this time

check in easy , but keys didn't work, we had to come back down and re cut 3 times . During the night 2 different people came into our room while we were sleeping , with their own keys , how this happens I have no idea , one of the lads argued for 10 minutes that it was his room , how this didn't end up in a fight I don't know . I complained to staff , who just didn't reply , and changed the subject. No responsibility whatsoever . We left feeling tired , and frustrated .

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were comfortable and we had 2 fantastic nights sleep. The hotel felt a little tired, but the rooms were clean. The location is fantastic!

Hotel is in a good location for the city centre (5 mins walk). Clean, spacious rooms & comfy beds. Staff were friendly & helpful. I would recommend & would definitely stay again.

Surrounding area nice and great location near the docks. Cafe and stores nearby within walking distance. Lobby was excellent - have a bit of a high end feel. Room bathroom could use a facelift. Black spots on the walls and very run down. Stayed for 2 nights so booked the cheapest standard room. Marks on the room wall but overall clean. TV wasn’t modern and could be placed on the wall. Twin bed has wheels so had to move it against the wall to avoid moving around. Leonardo rooms are typically small so no issue there. I’d stay again but would get a better room.

Hotel location is convenient yet quiet and within short walking distance of Leeds city centre and public transport. Public area of hotel was well maintained and we enjoyed the quality and range of food at breakfast. Our room was clean, a good size and comfortable although some of the fittings are a little dated. There is very limited parking available immediately around the hotel and the multistories in Leeds are fairly costly so bear that in mind if planning to drive to Leeds and stay here.

Cooked breakfast was awful at 1040am on a Sunday. It’s advertised until 11 but but it was inedible and no one approached us at all

Lovely stay-reception staff very welcoming. Convenient for shopping. Breakfast was excellent for choice. We received complimentary vouchers for drinks and the room was nicely decorated with nice view of the city. Our only recommendation was the heating and water may be requiring some updating as the air con was a little noisy compared to some places I’ve stayed and you could hair noises from the plumbing. The bed was extremely small so next time I would choose an upgraded room as I didn’t think those size doubles were on the go anymore

Staff were polite and informative. Room was pretty clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of food to cater for anyone’s taste.

Lovely entrance. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with all amenities. The breakfast was a big disappointing. The milk in the coffee machine and separated when we stirred our drinks. It was replaced quickly but shouldn't have happened. The containers for the hot breakfast weren't big enough resulting in items running out quickly then having to wait to be refilled. The staff in the restaurant were hard working and friendly. Overall would stay again.

Staff were so very kind and nothing was too much to ask. Emanual in the dining arra was very helpful. Shame the bar area is not in proper use as they had no cocktails but apart from the a beautiful hotel. Booked in agNextcweek!!
