Stayed for a wedding. The room was comfortable and quiet. Very disappointing morning with children not being able to use the pool until 9am. This meant we didn’t access the facilities at all. Breakfast was ok.

Quality hotel, comfortable and clean. Only marked down because we paid extra to use the gym and pool and they closed them early and opened them late. This is something they do at the weekend but don’t mention it when you book.

Self check in worked perfectly although there was a member of staff there if required. Room was large with everything you’d expect (club room gives better coffee and gym/pool access). Large bar and restaurant with tvs show8ng sports. Food was fine. Pool is very large but very busy on a Friday night. Ample parking. Very good all round.

Easy stay, room was fine, really good amenities, kids loved the pool and wife was really impressed by the gym. She uses Village hotels with work and said the gym / pool here was by far the best she’s used. Would use again.

Absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy. Carpets were filthy. Dust and grime along all the skirts, the bed frame, curtains, everywhere. Soiled carpets and musty smell. Splash marks up the walls, soiled headboard which was FULL of dirt and hair which could be seen in the light as soon as you sat on the bed! No way to air out the room as the windows (also never cleaned) opened a fraction. No fan , no ac and no extractor. There isn’t even any plugs by the bedside to use. It was so dirty that my asthma was exacerbated terribly. I had to take anti histamines and extra meds. I left < an hour because it was so bad. I was told to email management all the evidence for my refund. That was weeks ago and not as much as a reply. It seems they cannot be bothered to even address their level of cleanliness which affects people’s health. A disgusting hotel.

This is a massive Village Hotel, very busy. Staff approachable. Easy to park. Only downside is the rooms are run down and a bit dirty however for location it’s very convenient.

We arrived a little earlier than the 3pm room ready time and found no parking issues in the large car park. The reception staff were helpful and gave us early access to our room which we appreciated. Our room could have done with a bit more follow up with regard to cleanliness as there was a noticeable build up of dust around door frame corners etc. I would also suggest not storing clean towels on the shelf above the loo but on the whole the room was clean and very comfortable. There is no direct phone from the room to the reception but details are available for the number to call for reception from a mobile. Bed very comfortable and clean and a large tv to watch. Breakfast good value and there was soy milk available which I often find missing from other breakfast hotels. Great pool and massive gym so very good fitness and leisure facilities with sauna and steam room plus a jacuzzi. Bus stop at the end of the entrance drive to the hotel with a 25 minute journey into the city centre from an array of different buses which the reception staff helped us with. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is pretty unbeatable value and we would definitely look to book here first if we were having a short break in Leeds. Thank you for a nice stay

Room was a long trek from reception with bad sign posting and up and down floors. Night was disturbed by loud drunken people coming back to their rooms and not being able to get in and a car alarm going off outside the window throughout the night. There was no phone or number to call to complain or to report anything. There were no sockets by the bed apart from round pin sockets which lamps were plugged into and were useless for UK plugs.

Hotel room was too hot. Even with 3 fans it was over 30 degrees in the room. We don’t get any sleep and the reception staff couldn’t really help. There were other people complaining about the temperature of the room. This is the second time we stayed her and had the same issue. We were prepared to give it another go due its location however until air conditioning is installed we will not stay again at this hotel

Great hotel. The room numbering and layout is a little confusing as signage isn't great, but once you find your room no problems. I stayed in the North wing so it was a bit of a walk from reception.

The hotel is nice, but no air con and the Dyson cooler doesn’t really do anything, the fan reception sent up was ok, but not enough power sockets to plug it in anywhere near the bed! Much like your phone and the Wi-Fi is appalling!

No shower gel, only shampoo in both dispensers and hand soap dispenser. Ran out of hotel towels and left thin, smaller pool towels and only one not two. Reception did not deliver additional towel, had to collect. Poor lighting in our room, missing floor lamp. Awoken each night of our three nights by someone walking up and down outside the hotel on their phone. After going to challenge them on the third night it appears it was the hotel's night porter! Standards are slipping at The Village hotels.

Check in automated and very slow.Checked in all information correctly on machine then Shen straight back to beginning.Was then checked in manually by staff.Other couple complained about slow process.Sfaff still have to register keycard.Would have been a lot quicker just to have normal registration process especially as you have two reception staff just watching yo7 key in information

Just WOW ! What an Amazing Place to stay at. Room, food, staff, Parking. Could not fault the place. 2 Ladies on Reception helped me out with a little mistake I did while Booking ( I booked North instead of South ) doh ! But Sara and Izzy sorted it out for is in a Jiffy. Thanks again for a Great Stay and keep up the Great Work.

Hotel was very clean and tidy the staff we’re both friendly and helpful particularly Maya in housekeeping who helped me relocate my wife’s phone charger with no fuss although I’m sure she was busy she was willing to spend a few minutes enquiring at lost property and going to our room to find charger still plugged into socket well done Maya

We always stay here and it’s the perfect level of being out of the city centre but close enough that it’s only a 10 min bus/drive away to the centre, meaning it is nice and quiet and a great night sleep. Facilities are top notch and the staff are so helpful. Always recommend

Very clean throughout the bedroom, bathroom and hotel. Lovely big dining room with a nice outlook if seated by the windows. Breakfast varied although the hot buffet wasn't that hot. Helpful friendly staff. Bus route into town only a 3 or 4 minutes walk to the bus stop, bus 23 or 27 more regular, about every 15 minutes into the City Centre. A few restaurants, cafes only a short walk away on the main road opposite the road entrance to the hotel.

The location of the hotel was convenient for family visit, bedroom very clean, view onto the roof showed air conditioning pipes in very poor condition. Some of the breakfast items were poor quality, fatty streaky bacon, no fried eggs!. The orange juice was undrinkable, in my opinion.

The restaurant and staff are outstanding. The one major pitfall - NO A/C. There was a large round fan in the room. We turned the fan on and dust clumps flew everywhere…. The fan had not been cleaned in long time. The gym and restaurant must be popular with the locals, so parking can be challenging. Overall, stay here in the colder months!

Hotel was nice and well located for uni, though a bit far from the centre. Food was tasty, pub menu was good, breakfast a bit limited. Staff all friendly and attentive although i had to ask for clean mugs after room service had twice ben in and not changed. Also returned from a day out to find room had been cleaned and left open which was a worry, but I'd hope an unfortunate mistake.

Check in and bar/ restaurant staff really good but that was the only positive. Hotel very tired and dirty, layout of hotel was a nightmare with a buggy as had to carry up and down steps all the time due to lifts only going to certain parts. Room was tired and dirty, towels were really thin and no air con in the room but two fans which were also pathetic so we went and bought a large fan for the room as staying a few nights which was better than the fancy dyson one provided but still not enough to make it an enjoyable nights sleep. Family changing rooms at the pool are hopeless design with all floor areas soaking and again the general pool area dirty and very tired. We ate in the restaurant one night and food quality was really poor so decided to go out for breakfast both mornings at nearby cafes and would highly recommend the greek restaurant across the road from the hotel for dinner.

A spacious, quiet room with the necessary amenities. Tasty burgers and a good drinks selection. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will stay here again.

Everything is excellent .However ,the corridor had like a strong fishy odour that we had no clue where it came from .Also ,we found that there was a poor communication between the administration team and the housekeepers because no one of those knew that we were staying for one more night and they knocked us at the door twice during the second day . And the last issue was that we had been charged for a fee for using the pool despite of being guests of a club room that it was supposed that the price of the gym and pool were included. They should have warned us about it at the beginning instead of being told on the same morning just before the check out .

Stayed in a few village hotels and had no issues. Dont think will return to this one. There is building work taking place in an extention to the hotel. We were put in a room in that building. It was hard to navigate to mainly because you cannot access it from inside the main hotel. The reception didnt look like she wanted to be in work and gave minimal instructions one being to go through a party in the function hall to get the the building. Yet there was a sign on the door saying not to enter! We walked all the way around the building, got to the lift to be told by a builder that the lift was out of order and we shouldn't be in that part of the building so made to go back to reception. Headed to reception, same lady again who wasn't helpful, sent us in a main lift and along a long corridor, but at the end of that corridor was a door saying no entry building site! Back to reception and told to cut through party cross the road and go up stairs 3 floors with a suitcase! Not impressed room was on a building site and the room had damp stains on the roof and had a funny smell. Headed back to reception to ask for a new room, and given one in main hotel same size..so why wasn't this the first option? Why send a guest to a building site? Pool area was really busy, too many people really to relax and very loud with kids! Bar area was very busy, but staff were doing there best especially with football on. Hotel overall good location for what we needed but wouldn't rush back.
