- great room - very kind personal - 5 mins from metro station - more than enough choice at the breakfast table - new coffee/tea/water/cookies and fruit on the room every single day!

I was drawn to it because of the location. I was able to explore all of the shopping and eateries nearby. The Bayswater tube station was an easy 5-6 minute walk providing access to greater London. The building was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. My single room was very small, but I was only there to sleep.

Great location, Lovely helpful staff, Great facilities and food. We will definitely return.

The property is clean and their staff is kind. I do appreciate a free bottle of water every day. The breakfast was also delicious. Thanks very much.

This property was perfect for my purposes. I had been forewarned in other reviews the room would be small. And it was. So if one intends to stay in the single room, be aware: No, there is no separate place to put ones luggage. You put it on the bed to access it and then you close it up and tuck it at the end of the bed when you are done. There is really only room for one suitcase in the single. If you are travelling light and fast, as I was, it is PERFECT. You get a great value in an expensive area in exchange. It was quiet and comfortable and I was quite happy. Note also, that the shower is the size of one in an RV. So if you cannot balance well, or are larger than a 15-20" gap, you will not be able to fit into the shower stall. But it is VERY clean and nicely appointed, including a washcloth. There is apparently a restaurant on the property. I found it by accident when moving through the floor. The staff had not mentioned it to me on arrival. The staff is very responsive, but did not initiate information. When I overslept and was afraid I was not going to make Heathrow, the receptionist was kind and calming and oh so helpful. I cannot say thank you enough to her.

Nice clean and well appointed hotel. Rooms are quiet, clean and well furnished. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pubs and Shops are nearby and walkable.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and it was wonderful! The location is fantastic and very quiet. The staff was always very helpful. The rooms are smaller as they usually are in London but as a solo traveler it was perfect for me. The gap under the door wasn’t my fave but I shoved a towel under it each night. The air conditioning was very strong which is exactly what I wanted and I had a beautiful view of the park in front of the hotel! I hope to visit again soon!

The stay was pleasant. The hotel staff kept in contact prior to, and after the stay. They were facilitating. The check-in was quick, smooth and easy, as was the check out. As we were just there for a night and were going out and about, we didn't ask for and interact much. The room was small but well decorated and was still equipped with essentials (TV, hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee making facility and complementary water bottles). Bed was comfy, toilets were decent and well equipped too - just the showers need looking into. Another plus was that our bedroom on 4th floor had a window and decent front view. Some reviews about windowless rooms had me confirmed. Overall, the hotel is good and conveniently located 7 mins walk from Bayswater with Notting Hill Gate and Queensway stations also nearby, as well as shops and eatries. The room size may not be an issue for 1-2 people who dont carry much. It wasn't for us, as we just stayed a night. I had forgotten my bag with passports and am very grateful to housekeeping who found it and those who then contacted to tell me about it. It was waiting at the reception. Hats off to the staff who showed concern.

Compact room. The bed was sunken in the middle so a little uncomfortable. Women on the front desk at check out weren’t the friendliest. Room was exceptionally clean!

The rooms are quite small, so limited furniture. But very clean and good housekeeping. Reception staff friendly.

Spotlessly clean, lovely room and good breakfast. Friendly staff and great location.

The room although compact and bijou was very clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and came with some lovely complimentary toiletries, the towels were lovely clean and soft. The room had a window facing the front which was lovely, and it was able to be opened which was excellent. There were complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits that you could asked to be topped up at anytime. The properly was close to the Bayswater shops, tube station and bus routes which were all within a walkable distance. I would recommend and stay at this location again when we plan our next trip to London.

Our room was below ground, did not have a window, and smelled musty when we put the air conditioning on. The shower was extremely small and would be difficult for someone larger to use. The breakfast contained a nice variety of hot and cold foods.

As a solo female traveler, this is a terrific hotel. Exceptionally clean, comfy bed, hot shower, fluffy towels, quiet, and in a safe neighborhood with many amenities and public transport close by. I plan to book here again when I come back to London. I stayed for eight nights, and when I first checked in, the ground floor room they gave me looked out on an air shaft. When I requested a room with more sunlight, they immediately and graciously found me another room on the fourth floor with a lovely window. I spent little time in the room, but it was so nice to have gorgeous sunshine upon waking up! (The weather was 75 and sunny the entire time I was here!). I had a Zoom work meeting while here and the Wi-Fi was terrific, no issues. Note: if you are a larger person or two people with lots of luggage, I suggest selecting a larger room, perhaps with a king bed. Access to the foot and other side of my double bed was extremely narrow and not much floor space for lots of luggage. I had a small roller bag. My room was perfect for just me but others may find it too cozy for their liking.

We were a group that booked 4 rooms. It was very hot outside. Only 2 rooms had adequate AC. No windows that opened. One of the rooms should have not been sold as a double. Tiny room. Luckily they changed the couple into another room after the first night.

Advise against sleeping in rooms on basement level. Generator making noise throughout the night. Very stuffy with no view being in the basement. Mattress not comfortable.

Nice hotel, just very small rooms even for London standards. My room 110 was 8am which felt claustrophobic. Otherwise good stay, great location, very clean, nicely furnished and maintained, friendly staff. I will ask for a bigger room next time.

Room was not ready at when we arrived 20min after check in time. Small room but ok, no window though and in a basement room also meant no reception either. Room was next to some sort of vent which was also very noisy throughout the night

There was a fan in the “window” which was so loud and made it hard to sleep but couldn’t be turned off because the room would get too hot. It was also very small and cramped. Some of the staff were dismissive and seemed annoyed to help while others were quite pleasant, which was strange. The cleanliness of the room was fine but I definitely would not stay here again. The only benefit is that it is close to Hyde park for events but I still don’t think that justifies the price and the poor service.

I know that hotels in London are generally of a low/poor standard, so the hotel itself was of an ok decent standard. I also had low expectations about the size of my 1-person deluxe room, so I can't complain about the very small cramped room. The big issue for me was therefor not the room itself, but the small window with no daylight facing a narrow, noisy ventilation shaft. That was a big surprise for me and I can hardly understand that it is legal to rent out a room like that. I therefore tried to change my room, but I met little or no understanding and even some arrogance from the lady at the reception desk. She said that all rooms were booked due to the Notting Hill Carnival. That's probably true, but many people hadn't checked in yet, so she could have moved me to another room in the same category if she really wanted to. I therefore suspect that people who book via hotels.com are given a lower priority compared to those who book directly from the hotels website. It is possible that those who have stayed in other room categories than me have better experiences with the hotel, but regardless this hotel is by no means a 4-star hotel. Be aware of that before booking a room. Maybe a 2-star or 3-star at most. The man at the reception desk at check-out was far more service minded than his colleague at check-in. He promised me a nice room on my next visit, but I'll probably never stay with them again, even though I'm visiting Notting Hill almost every year at carnival time.

All staff were friendly and pleasant. Clean and quiet establishment. Handy to restaurants/cafes and transportation. I would recommend and return to stay.

The staff is professional and friendly. We arrived earlier than expected and we were able to get a room and settle in. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance from the tube, many restaurants and Hyde Park. The room was comfortable and cozy for the 1 night stay. The hotel has storage, so we were able to leave our bags for a few hours and pick them up to head to the airport. The con was the shower. It was a challenge, since there was no place to put toiletries. Overall, I would stay here again.

Nice decent hotel in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff. Single room was quite tight but suited my needs and there was everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. Typical english breakfast. Location is great, not too far from tube of buss.

We really enjoyed both times we stayed while we were in London on our Europe trip. The staff is excellent and very easy to work with. The area is safe and has quite a few eating places. We walked to the Portobella Road Market from the hotel. The hotel itself is older but very well kept. The breakfast buffet was good. A very nice place and we will stay again if traveling to London.

The Premier Inn in Notting Hill is a pleasant quiet place with wonderfully helpful staff. The neighborhood is multi-national and has a great feel to it. The hotel is an easy walk to the Circle Line (Bayswater) or Central (Queensway) lines. Getting into and out of the city is quick and easy.

In an excellent location near the underground. A very complete area with restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. The attention of the staff is excellent. The room was clean and very well maintained. My room was a little small but very comfortable and the bathroom was very convenient. Possibly if I had traveled with children it would have been difficult but for adults it is excellent. I highly recommend it.
