We selected this hotel based on its proximity to the tube and the main attractions in London. We did look at the pictures of the hotel but clearly missed that it did not have A/C in the hotel. It was very warm in London while we were there and it was almost unbearable in our room. Room furniture was in good condition. Room was very clean and had a tea set up. Easy check in and check out. Staff was great. We did not eat there because we left early every morning for sightseeing. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay here at BW Swiss Cottage. It is conveniently located near Regent’s Park. The tube is a 2 min walk away. The Jubilee line is less crowded than others. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and there is a pub nearby. There is a bookable car park nearby that is about a 3-5 min walk if you are driving here. It was around 80 dollars for 3 nights.

No A/C! If it's warm outside then it's burning up in these rooms. They do offer table fans and because we didn't travel in the heat of summer it was ok. Still needed the fans but in my 54 years on this earth i have never encountered a hotel with no a/c. Close to the train/tubes and easy to get around fron this hotel. There's a market in the square next to the tube so you can get food and fresh fruits and veggies but this hotel offers no refrigerator or microwave, so good luck! Lest not forget the elevator will only hold 2 people at a time. If you have luggage, then it's tou and the luggage in the elevator and that's it, its that small. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, they answered all of our questions and helped in a hurry if we had an issue with the room. There's renovations going on at this very moment but it was barely recognizable because the noise was minimal. I would do this hotel again but only in the spring and fall months due to no central air.

Excellent location, quiet area close to transport links. Excellent service on arrival for check-in. Room had good facilities but was too warm in night. There wasn't a fan in the room but I learned from a fellow guest on leaving that these could be requested at reception.

Best Western Swiss Cottage Hotel was Safe, clean, had friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay! The beds are nice, best for people who enjoy their bed on the firm side. Our room was on the very top floor. We were surprised to find that the lift/elevator doesn't reach that floor even though the website says it reaches all floors. My mom is elderly so this was a factor in the original booking we were not pleased to discover. We booked via Expedia.

The hotel is beautiful, the personnel is very kind and efficient. The rooms get cleaned every morning and they even give you tea sets every single day! The atmosphere is fantastic, it feels like you're staying at a Victorian hotel. There's a Jubilee Underground station very close to it as well, many fast foods and supermarkets. Overall it was a very pleasant experience!

There was no air-conditioning. The bath took a long time to fill due to water pressure. There was alot of dust on furniture. The bed was really comfy. Room size was good for me and my kids. It wasl close to where I was visiting that day.

The property was in a nice, quiet area. Very close to public transport hubs and the staff were friendly however the room was not clean. Stains on the carpet, peeling wallpaper by the single bed and hair in the shower plug hole. This wasn't satisfactory for the price I paid for a one night stay

Bathroom was large and well lit. Beds were comfortable. Face towels were available- as needed. You had to ask for them. The bathroom had black mold on the window frame. Floors were very creaky. Carpets were very worn out.

We enjoyed our stay. The front of house staff were very polite and friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and I slept extremely well despite my health issues. Thankfully the lift took us up to our room. The only stairs I needed to navigate was the ones in and out of the hotel and 2 stairs up and down for the bathroom in the room. My only criticisms are that the cold water tap took ages to get cold and the bedside lights were very bright. The bath shower was great. As was everything else. Would stay here again.

The hotel lobby is very nice but the rooms are a little old and need of a little paint and fixing. The rooms don’t have a/c but not a big deal since the weather never got above 68F. The location is close to train and some restaurants but if looking to go to central London it can get expensive from this location. I enjoyed the peace and quiet after a long day and very safe for families.

Standard double room in the basement - aka "dungeon". Underneath the reception desk and next to breakfast room, could hear staff moving around above my head, guests coming and going etc. Decor v dated, was a little worried it was the set of a blue movie. Bathroom v awkward shape and small - if you're a little overweight you wouldn't be able to physically get to the toilet. Close to Swiss Cottage tube station though!

Staff was average. Big room and good size bathroom. Renovated clean bathroom. Room had old decor and smelled old. Room had old screechy floors. No air conditioning and no air flo. ROOM WAS HOT LIKE A SAUNA. One of our fans was broken and made very loud noise. Wifi is very weak. I do not recommended.

I had a wonderful time staying in this hotel which is in an excellent location. At first I had issue with the first room I checked in but the staff (Beatriz) was nit only professional and polite but she went out of her way to make sure I was shifted to another room with the facilities I required. The hotel and room is very cosy. The location is excellent because the tube station is 2min walk, there's an Odeon cinema just 4min walk away and the Tube line (Jubilee) takes you straight to Bond Street for shopping. I definitely want to come back to this hotel for my next London trip

The property has that feel of comfort and a slightly old fashioned hospitality rather than superslick. The staff were without exception helpful, polite, and went the extra mile. I was somewhat incapacitated by severe back and leg problems and the staff were uniformly helpful and kind.

Front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. Location is super close to the Swiss Cottage Underground stop. Room was clean and cozy. Small lift available if you can't do stairs which was very helpful with luggage.

The hotel itself was 3 of the row houses converted. They left the old English charm inside. The location of the hotel is just a 4 minute walk to the underground-which made getting around easy. The breakfast was fantastic and served the classic English food plus cereals, breads, pastries, cold cuts. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here at BW Swiss Cottage. It is conveniently located near Regent’s Park. The tube is a 2 min walk away. The Jubilee line is less crowded than others. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and there is a pub nearby. There is a bookable car park nearby that is about a 3-5 min walk if you are driving here. It was around 80 dollars for 3 nights.

We had a comfortable room, but it was getting old. No aircon, which was tough in the hot summer. Breakfast was an absolute debacle. We arrived when it was full and struggled to get a very cramped table in the corner. Most of the buffet was gone and not replenished and the toast arrived when we had finished our meal.

This traditional hotel has seen better days. Rooms are worn and not modernized for a while. Ground floor room were humid and had no A/C. The toilet niche extremely narrow and difficult to use. Good breakfast, but crowded during breakfast time.

The hotel room was hotter than a junkies teaspooon, the floor on the room upstairs was so creaky you were awoken every time the person in the room above moved an inch. The shower was weak and either boiling or cold. The mixer tap was the wrong way round, hot left cold right. Overall not a good experience and to be clear it was the hottest hotel room I have ever experienced even at 3am it was insane heat.

Room was exceptionally clean and had three large fans which was nice in this heatwave. The building is old, so signs of age are accepted. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, but the shower curtain smelt awful-even though it looked clean. Had no time to request staff to change it, but it wouldn’t put me off staying there again. Great location
