The California - Kings Cross St Pancras, London

I would stay here again. It's incredibly convenient to get to the station and from there anywhere. The hotel isn't a Ritz which is why it's so much cheaper but if you're looking for a place to sleep that's reasonably clean and well kept them this is it. The staff was very helpful when asked questions. They allow bag drop before your check in time which was super helpful.

The location was excellent. The room and bathroom were very clean. It was SO quiet and the beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

We book a superior double and it was nothing like the pictures advertised. The room had a weird shape- double bed squeezed into an alcove & a single bed. A rack for hanging clothes and a table & chair. No carpets. You had to step over the bin between the bath and wall to get to the toilet. Definitely not superior, it made the Travelodge look luxurious. It was clean & convenient so one night was ok.

Probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in . . . in my life. Location next to the train station was my only motivation. I had to step over my suitcase to get into bed. I can do anything for one night. It worked for what I wanted.
