Holiday Inn Express London Earls Court, an IHG Hotel

The hotel staff were very friendly, the condition was good. A slightly unusual layout as everything was open plan for reception, bar area and breakfast area. Good location for tube stations (3 within 10-15 min walk)

Was doing a big house move over 2 days so this was the perfect spot to come back to after a day of running around the removal men. Super clean room and spotless bathroom with triple glazing so no noise from the North End Road at all, which was fantastic. Great choices for breakfast and a good evening bar as well. Worth noting that all the staff at the hotel are exemplary in the way they carry out their work. No grumpy faces in sight anywhere. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here as a family of 4, lovely staff, room was great and breakfast was included which was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel, only downside is they do not accept cash.

A quiet, comfortable stay and in a reasonable location to reach central london (about £30 by uber). Close to the Eventim Apollo which was ideal for our needs (10mins in uber). With only 1 lightbulb in the corner of the room, the rooms were very dark and depressing but the staff were very helpful and sourced us an extra lamp when we requested it. The hotel is a little dated in areas but probably what you'd expect for a budget hotel. Beds are comfy, good selection of pillows and a nice breakfast included. Shame there wasn't a restaurant for evenings, but there are a selection of fast food/restaurants nearby to choose from. Not the best Holiday Inn we've stayed, at but would return if we're in the area. Pocket friendly, clean and enough for a good sleep.

The employees were very nice and helpful. We were able to store our luggage before check-in while we went sightseeing. The breakfast was great! Only complaint was that the ice machine was out of order, but they were able to give us ice from the bar, so it was ok.

A great hotel for the money, with reasonably priced parking as well. Rooms are a decent size. Bed is comfy enough. Everything is clean, but a little bit worn. You're not in the centre of London, but the tube station is a 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area as well. Heathrow is just 20-30 minutes away, if you want to stay in London either before or after flying. The EV chargers in the on-site parking haven't worked since 2022 - which is a bit annoying. But there are chargers directly outside the hotel if required.

Elevator is broken for our whole trip, good thing is that the staff is helpful for helping us to move the luggages upstair and downstair. Breakfast in the hotel is good.

Only downside was 7/8 minutes to tube station which was a pain with bags. West Kensington also has only steps no lift or escalator. Buses closeby.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast - very little choice and coffee was cold. Tables not very clean and the man who was cleaning up had the trolley right next to us where we were eating and was scraping leftovers into it - splashing food everywhere- yuk

One of the mattresses provided was very saggy, old and damaged. I could not have full night sleep on that bed because of deteriorating condition of the mattress. Room's carpet was nasty and stained.

Delivered what was promised and got what I paid for. Friendly smiling, helpful staff. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast with many choices.

Extremely clean!

Carpets were quiet dirty in the room unfortunately but the staff were so good and extremely nice!!

We had stayed at 3 Holiday Inn Express properties during our recent trip to Ireland Scotland and England. This was not clean at all, they also use some type of aerosol product to cover up odours which takes your breath away. On a positive note staff were friendly and moved us to another room which was a little better but not to the Holiday Inn standards we were used to.

Muy buena ubicación considerando el precio con acceso a transporte público. Lo malo es la calidad del desayuno, cuarto diminutos en condiciones lamentables.

Rundum ein ordentliches Hotel, allerdings bot unser Zimmer für 3 Personen und einem Aufenthalt von über 1 Woche zu wenig Möglichkeiten um seine Habseligkeiten zu verstauen. Es gab keine einzige weitere Sitzgelegenheit als unsere Betten und die Beleuchtung des Zimmers war erbärmlich😞. Ein Zimmersafe, wie von Expedia in der Zimmerbeschreibung benannt, war nicht vorhanden, was für uns letztendlich nach gemachten Negativerfahrungen den Ausschlag für die Wahl dieses Hotel gemacht hatte.

Very friendly staff, room was clean and in good condition, the only relevant downside to call out is that we booked a family room for two adults and two children, but the sofa bed for the children was very small (narrow) - we just about managed one night, but it is certainly not of the same size as, e.g., an equivalent sofa bed in a Premier Inn. Otherwise all good.

The windows were not able to open. Room was a little bit stuffy. Bed was comfortable. Janet, the lady on the front desk was very helpful as she kept my son’s package of cheese which he was taking back to the USA in the hotel fridge. Breakfast was okay, only one type of egg which was scrambled and I would think we powdered instant eggs.

Great location, easy to get bus or train into central London. Breakfast was good but could use some variety, so that is not the exact same options every single day. Rooms were air conditioned but small. Lacking mini fridge in room. Staff was great, very helpful and responsive.

Not very spacious, old facilities, need upgrade to nowadays standard. TV is about 27"!?

The hotel was conveniently placed for the dinner show we were attending and West Brompton train station. All the staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, The members of our party that slept on the sofa bed in the room found it extremely uncomfortable, with the springs in the thin mattress and the supporting mechanism bars making it very difficult to sleep.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Friendly staff. Good location with 10 min walk to subway. Small room with dubble bed and sofa bed, but it filled its purpose. Por lighting in room and missed some more storage. A bit noisy at breakfast since the breakfast was located next to the reception. 4 different marmalades but no cheese. But overall a good experience.

Advertised as sleeping four but a double bed and a small sofa bed is not adequate for four people. Room also felt pretty basic and in need of a refurb

For a family of four with grown children the room was a bit small, otherwise ok. The breakfast was good, but a bit noisy. The hotel is a 10-15 min walk to the nearest (either of two) underground station, surrounded by a lot of little local shops, businesses and markets.

The surrounding area seemed unsafe for walking at night and the area wasn’t properly lit. We had to take an Uber everywhere. This was costly. West Kensington tube station was also closed (on the 22nd July 2023) when we tried to take the tube. We had to them walk further to another station. After this we just used Uber. We requested a corporate office number so we could get a refund and choose another hotel and we were informed (by Hormona and Cassandra) that we would have to send an email to the Deputy Manager and we were not given Corporate’s number. Cassandra, the manager on duty is also not the person that needs to be at the front desk speaking to customers. A Manager should never tell a customer “You knew where the location was, you knew how it felt, you saw the map.” I’m not from England, I am a visitor therefore I had no idea about the streets surrounding the hotel. I would not recommend anyone stay here. I would recommend Cassandra gets training on not having an attitude with customers and on how to properly speak to customers. I would recommend Hormona get training on how to deal with customers in tough situations. Customer service is not important for this front desk team so if that matters to you then don’t choose this hotel. The shower wasn’t the cleanest and the fan in the shower needs a deep cleaning. Shampoo was in the bath but not conditioner. There were also no small bathing towels to bathe with, so bring your own if you use those.

Another great stay in this hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Great breakfast.

Unfriendly staff makes things worse than it really is. It’s unfortunate.

Where to begin? We arrived at the property early at around 9am. Now I fully understand and that check-in doesn't officially start until 3pm. However, I don't understand why this property would have 5 families sit around in the lobby until 2:45pm before allowing anyone to check-in. Normally hotels would check their guests in as rooms become cleaned and available throughout the morning and early afternoon. I find it hard to believe, all rooms just magically become cleaned and available at 3pm. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of this trip was the lack of friendliness from the front desk staff. Now remind you, we arrived at the hotel early and was told we would need to wait until the room becomes available which is totally understandable, no issues. The staff did ask if we would like to leave our luggage and go out and sight see. However considering it was cold and raining and we just had a 9 hour Trans Atlantic flight we just wanted to stay in. Now the hotel breakfast was beginning to wrap up and I went to get a toast and orange juice for myself and daughter, when i was lectured by front desk representative Cassandra, which stated to me, "Sir, the breakfast doesn't start for you until tomorrow, but don't worry this is will be on us", in which i was extremely offended. If my piece of toast and orange juice is coming out of Cassandra's pay check, i would gladly have paid. The entire staff seemed unhappy and not friendly, with the exception of Marinlina, she was very helpful.

The hotel was outside the busy city center, but only a few minutes walk to 2 tube stations on the District line and 1 station away from a transfer to the Piccadilly line. There were several good restaurants and take away options very close to the hotel. The free breakfast was great with plenty of hot and cold options. The only downside was the size of the rooms, we had a double and a sofa bed for a family of 4 and there was not much room besides the beds. However, we did not spend a lot of time in our room. I would recommend staying here.

Very CLEAN BUT TIRED PROPERTY, STAFF EXCELLANT TUB/SUBWAY 10 BLOCKS AWAY, A GOOD WALK ABOUT 30 MINUTES OUT FROM MOST ATTRACTIONS

It is in a working class neighborhood and the area is safe to walk even in the evenings. You have two tube stations nearby to choose from.

Conveniently located around 5 minutes walk from West Kensington tube. Several pubs nearby. Clean and comfortable hotel with complimentary breakfast . Avoid the sausages! Holiday Inn equivalent of Premier Inn. Better value for money.

Property close to 2 train stations so very convenient. Nice and accommodating staff!

The hotel and its staff are fine and it provides good value for money. Our room was clean and comfortable and even though it looked out onto the main road noise was not an issue. However the surrounding area is a bit flaky and both underground stations are about ten minutes walk away.

Good location, 5-8 mins walk to tube station. lots restaurant, groceries store near by and open late. good lights around the area. The hotel also has good breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient to the Underground, with the West Kensington station a quick walk away. The breakfast is satisfying.

Breakfast while included it wasn't good . Powdered eggs everything was processed and frozen.
