First night we froze in our room. Worked with staff to fix the issue to no avail. They said they reset the heat and they messed with the controls in the room, all of which did nothing. They offered a space heater which they never brought. I had to ask multiple times for another blanket. Jacob at the front desk did offer to comp the first night and said he'd switch us to a heated room. The new room still had no functional heater, but they did bring in a space heater. Why they didn't just bring the space heater to the first room I'll never understand--at least we were in a warm room finally. But the rest was awful too: the bed was way too firm, the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. There was a sign that offered feather pillow substitutes, but naturally, they were out of those. The comforter was not wide enough for the bed. There was no refrigerator in the room so bringing leftovers and cold drinks to the room was not an option, nor was there an ice dispenser. One of two elevators was broken for over half our stay. They are advertised as a "3-star hotel" on Hotels.com. This hotel failed to provide the comfort that I would expect from a freeway motel, let alone a 3-star hotel. Hotels.com ought to re-evaluate whether this hotel deserves to be listed on their site and Holiday Inn ought to consider whether or not this hotel truly meets the standards they are trying to set. Either way, I won't likely stay at a Holiday Inn again, and I will be more cautious using Hotels.com.

Not remotely enough staff on, took ages to check-in as one staff member was manning the bar and check-in desk - painful. Fire alarm went off in the night for 30 seconds or so, woke the children up and was a real pain. Breakfast remarkably good!

The hotel itself is pretty good and very clean. I am rating it lower because of the service of one employee. The day we arrived the a/c was not working, which was a big deal because it was so hot but Lloyd helped us very much and I get it, things happen. However we went out to eat that evening and brought back some food. There is no fridge in the rooms therefore we could not keep our food in the room. We asked if our food could be put in the fridge downstairs and the employee on duty at the time said no problem. YayWhen we went to get our food the following day the employee we found who seemed to be in a managerial position was not impressed at all and borderline rude. He told us that the hotel policy does not allow them to store food from outside, which I get. But then put a fridge in the room so I don’t have to throw away my food. What if I had medication that is supposed to be stored in a fridge what would I have done? In a nutshell I probably won’t be going back to this hotel, not because it is bad but because I want the option to store my food or drinks for late night snacks. On the positive side, if you don’t need a fridge this hotel is convenient. It is 5 mins walk from train station and bus stops if you are using public transport it is super ideal. the neighborhood is quite nice and not noisy. Most employees were super helpful and friendly except for that one individual. Breakfast was great. Thank you Lloyd, you did an awesome job making us feel welcome.

Good location for what we needed. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was nice the only thing that let it down was the cigarette ends all over the floor by the entrance. Surely somebody must see them and send someone to sweep up.

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night and been absolutely delighted. Jacob at the check-in desk was brilliant, both friendly and professional, a real asset to the business. The room was clean, decent size and had a desk too.

Booked a week before arrival. Put on booking that needed a cot in the room. Called ahead that morning to make sure it would be in the room as we were arriving late. Was assured it would be. Checked in and asked if the cot was in the room. Told yes, he could see my note and that I had called so it would be in there. Went in the lift to the 4th floor. Really strong smell of cannabis on leaving the lift. Got to the room, no cot! Tried to call reception but numbers on the tag on the (filthy) phone have worn so couldn’t tell if I was ringing front desk. No answer. Went down, poor guy was very apologetic. The other went up to resolve the cannabis issue. Was told 15 mins for the cot. 35 mins later, still nothing so husband went down to chase. Was offered a free drink. Nice touch but just ensure the customers requests are read and actioned before they arrive. Finally got the cot. Went to the loo and the smell of urine in the bathroom was vile! By this point we were accepting that this was clearly the standard of hotel we had booked. Lesson learnt. Never again! No plugs by bedside tables. Lighting really poor in the room. Room was freezing. This was an old hotel. There was black mold on the ceiling and the grout of the bathroom tiles. The pillows and bed were uncomfortable and i wasnt even sure they were cleaned. The only positive would be the service when we checked in but otherwise the staff wasnt overly helpful.

The manager Ozman is amazing and so are some of his staff. The breakfast spread is good but they repeat the exact same menu every single day. The rooms are super tight and small. The sofa bed has a very very soft mattress. Nobody (kids) above the weight of 30 kgs should try and sleep on it as it’s very uncomfortable. If you’re attempting to have 2 kids sleep on the sofa bed , good luck. They qualify this super small room as a family room and expect to keep 2 adults and 2 children comfortably - which isn’t the case. This property is aged, several rooms didn’t have their central air conditioning working. It’s more about the property, but some of the staff are super helpful and nice - shout out to Ozman , Chris and Karina. On the other hand a receptionist by the name of Fahad was rude and unwelcoming , try and avoid him if you can. The hotel is located very close to the bus stand and train station which is helpful. Do not expect any amenities here as they don’t have a gym or pool.

Everything is good about this hotel. Except the beds. We have been staying at this hotel for past several years. In 2023, they changed the mattress and now they are really firm (unlike any other hotel). Not sure why they changed it but beds are not very comfortable now.

The hotel was quiet considering its location, the rooms were nice & beds were comfortable. Nice breakfast included.. only thing I would say is that the rooms were very hot & we couldn’t lower the temperature below 19, we couldn’t have the air con on at night or window open as it would have kept the children awake.. Also, could have done with extra pillows- only 1 each provided- we did ask for another or a harder pillow but were told no..

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful during a stressful point of our vacation. Good location in a local neighborhood. They start you off with a hearty, hot breakfast. 20-40 mins by train/tube to anywhere your heart desires in the greater London area. Public car parking as well if you’ve got a vehicle, that ran us about 25 GBP for overnight parking. Can’t reiterate how great the staff were- from front desk to housekeeping to kitchen staff, all were helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area!

Public car parking as well if you’ve got a vehicle, that ran us about 25 GBP for overnight parking. Can’t reiterate how great the staff were- from front desk to housekeeping to kitchen staff, all were helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area!

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night and been absolutely delighted. Jacob at the check-in desk was brilliant, both friendly and professional, a real asset to the business. The room was clean, decent size and had a desk too.

Booked a week before arrival. Put on booking that needed a cot in the room. Called ahead that morning to make sure it would be in the room as we were arriving late. Was assured it would be. Checked in and asked if the cot was in the room. Told yes, he could see my note and that I had called so it would be in there. Went in the lift to the 4th floor. Really strong smell of cannabis on leaving the lift. Got to the room, no cot! Tried to call reception but numbers on the tag on the (filthy) phone have worn so couldn’t tell if I was ringing front desk. No answer. Went down, poor guy was very apologetic. The other went up to resolve the cannabis issue. Was told 15 mins for the cot. 35 mins later, still nothing so husband went down to chase. Was offered a free drink. Nice touch but just ensure the customers requests are read and actioned before they arrive. Finally got the cot. Went to the loo and the smell of urine in the bathroom was vile! By this point we were accepting that this was clearly the standard of hotel we had booked. Lesson learnt. Never again! No plugs by bedside tables. Lighting really poor in the room. Room was freezing. The property is clean, quiet and located close to the station. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. The room was spacious and quiet, however, was quite hot at night. They did provide a fan in the room which did help slightly. The hotel is located close to Heathrow so there was some daytime noise from the planes taking off, however, it wasn't disruptive at night. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast - nothing special but not terrible either. Would recommend but just beware of the A/C issue. It's not a make or break, just something to be aware of.

At first, I was worried that I might have chosen the wrong place because it seemed far from the Underground to central London. But surprisingly, the national rail station to Waterloo was only a 5-minute walk away, which made it a perfect choice for sightseeing in London. When I arrived, I got off at the nearest Piccadilly Line station and took a taxi to the hotel. On the way back, I went to Waterloo Station, left my luggage there, enjoyed some sightseeing, and then took the train to the airport from there. The price was reasonable, and the breakfast was standard. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting London for sightseeing.

Great staff and excellent breakfast! Unfortunately only the 44 bus can get to the location because of a bridge out. Also the entire area around it is under construction. Takes 45 mins or more to get to major attractions like Big Ben, Leicester, etc.. not many places to eat nearby except one nice little street with a few lunch places. We managed to get PHO right before it closed at 3pm for tea time.

We knew air con in hotel was broken when we booked and a fan was put in the room so that was ok. Water was extremely hot and difficult to get it to reduce in the shower. Breakfast was very poor, we went at 9:45 and a lot of items were no longer available. Very few staff on hand to help.

We had a great time here! Our room was super clean with everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't great but we got what we needed from it every morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed that for a stay of two night costing over £300 toilet paper in the bathroom was cheap and 1-ply expected a better quality for the price paid. Breakfast was good, unable to sample food in the evening as they stopped serving at 8pm would have been good if that was advertised.

Breakfast was simply terrible: undercooked bacon, anaemic sausages, overdone scrambled eggs, no juice glasses, no hash browns, one out of two coffee machines not working, etc. Staff tried hard, but were unable to save what was a pretty sub-par stay.

Hotel was fine. Nice staff. Location ok once we had figured out trains and buses as there is no tube station close by. However, we would think twice about staying here again due to the lack of breakfast items. We arrived 1 hour before the end of breakfast and both days many items had run out abd were intermittently refilled only only to instantly disappear again. We did not have a full breakfast either day. The juice was watered down and the coffee unpleasant

Room is clean. Hotel staff is very friendly. Location is good, close to the metro station and supermarkets. If the room has the street view, there is car noise even at night. Since the AC was not working at that time, we had to open the windows. Hotel staff was happy to give us a room located on the other side. Rooms are not newely decorated/renovated. One thing was interesting. There is no small fridge in the rooms. Normally, I would assume this as a regular amenity for all rooms. Maybe this is not common for hotels in London. Breakfast was not great but not bad either. It depends on your expectation. We are from Turkey. In Turkey, hotels provide more choices at breakfast. Again, another European customer might like it this way.

The Hotel is in an excellent location with Wandsworth train station with in a 2 minute walk, it is also next to the Thames where you can walk for miles, All the Hotel staff are VERY friendly and they keep it very clean

Had a lovely return stay at the holiday inn in Wandsworth. Have been to this hotel before and find it very convenient for visiting family. Myself and 2 kids in a room with a double and sofa bed. No complaints. Very comfortable. The air con was being upgraded which wasn’t ideal however this was communicated and we had a good fan in the room. Just wish it hadn’t been in a heat wave! Will definitely stay again. Thank you
