We booked this for my husband’s birthday as a 1-night stay, and lived the experience. Fiona at reception was kind enough to sort out extras from room to a free drink! We enjoyed the lunch at the Arch Bar, fresh food and great staff. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had some great fresh items e.g green smoothie. Overall, great property, location and staff.

I expected so much more! Slow check in, broken coffee machine in room, fraying materials and a dripping tap! The location is perfect but have stayed in far better hotels for half the price! Not sure I would give this one a second chance on my next visit down to London!

The shower was a complete disaster.... whee turning it on the water was spilling all over. When telling that at reception they were incapable to even say sorry not to mention solving the problem or compensating for it. UNNACCEPTABLE FOR A HOTEL OF THIS "THEORETIC" CATEGORY

This was an amazing hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. Taxis are easily accessible when needed. Big bus tour stop 1 is right up the street! Very clean, beautiful hotel!

Enjoyed every second of our visit to London. The hotel was great and everyone that worked there was extremely accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and room was impecable.

The service is always excellent from the staff. The only negative was the temperature of the rooms. They were freezing and the control thermostat made no difference. Even called the engineer and it made no change. This was the same in my colleagues room on a different floor. It was end of February we stayed.

Very enjoyable stay. Nice rooms, extremely comfortable. Courteous knowledgeable and professional staff. Nice comfortable king size beds incredible pillows. Location was perfect. Right on Hyde park. Wonderful vacation. I stay in hotels all over Europe. One of my favorites by far. What impressed me most was how quiet the rooms were!

Property is in beautiful part of town. Great shopping and good restaurants nearby. Unfortunately the only issue with the property is the bathrooms, they are microscopic. For such a high end property I would have thought more attention would have been given to the bathroom. I understand it’s London, but you need to be able to access the bathroom in a reasonable way. That said, property is clean and staff wonderful.

Great location to walk or tube around the city. Perfect for the concert we saw in Hyde Park. Staff was extremely attentive, helpful, and professional throughout. Room was too small for three to stay comfortably but it worked. I would stay there again.

Amazing stay and wow what incredible staff! The bellmen memorized our names and greeted us by hall name daily. The restaurants were amazing and the hotel was clean. Some of the rooms with interior views were small and left a lot to be desired. Make sure to get a room facing not inside the hotel. Amazing experience at Intercontinetal Hyde park London!

I arrived after booking a 180 pound airport transfer late in the evening with my young son. I was told that there was a problem with the electricity and that I would have to stay at another hotel that they had set up for us. My husband had confirmed the airport transfer a couple hours before and no one had mentioned that I would not be staying there that night. Also, no one at the hotel had made any attempts to contact me. I took a cab with our luggage to the other hotel- which was paid for by the intercontinental, but we were already exhausted and the whole process was frustrating. The next day I arrived and the same unapologetic desk clerk, Jorge, took my passport again to the back room and stayed an unusually long time there “checking with management” about my room. I spoke with two other desk clerks and asked what was taking so long and one said that they may not be able to give me a room. I explained to them my situation, that I was TOLD BY JORGE to return the next day and that I had already checked out of the other hotel with my luggage in tow. Jorge came back and did “graciously” grant us a room at the inn. I will never stay at this hotel again. I’m not sure how it was granted 5 stars; their customer service at the desk is atrocious and everything else was unremarkable.

Arrived at the hotel early morning, 8 am, with a room booked from the previous night, after a 14 hour flight. Room was not ready and I was asked to wait an hour to an hour and a half for housekeeping to clean the room. I canceled the entire reservation and walked across the street with my bags to the Four Seasons, where I immediately got a room and was not charged for the prior night. Admittedly, i have frequented the Four Seasons Park Lane and this was an attempt at testing another hotel. I will not be returning to the Intercontinental. Advice for others, don't change your standards as you can only be disappointed if you have expectations.

This was an amazing hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. Taxis are easily accessible when needed. Big bus tour stop 1 is right up the street! Very clean, beautiful hotel!

Great location to walk or tube around the city. Perfect for the concert we saw in Hyde Park. Staff was extremely attentive, helpful, and professional throughout. Room was too small for three to stay comfortably but it worked. I would stay there again.

Excellent hotel. Much better rates that some near by hotels. Perfect area- walking distance to many historical places, shopping and restaurants.

Location was clutch for a second time London tourist. My two and a half year old boy was made to feel like a Prince. Free cot. The breakfast buffet was wonderful too.

We booked this for my husband’s birthday as a 1-night stay, and lived the experience. Fiona at reception was kind enough to sort out extras from room to a free drink! We enjoyed the lunch at the Arch Bar, fresh food and great staff. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had some great fresh items e.g green smoothie. Overall, great property, location and staff.

Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms are a tight space and the breakfast area is very busy during peak hours which require a waiting queue.

Amazing stay and wow what incredible staff! The bellmen memorized our names and greeted us by hall name daily. The restaurants were amazing and the hotel was clean. Some of the rooms with interior views were small and left a lot to be desired. Make sure to get a room facing not inside the hotel. Amazing experience at Intercontinetal Hyde park London!

El hotel nos dejó una muy buena experiencia. La ubicación es excelente y el lobby es amplio, elegante y muy agradable. De las dos habitaciones que tuvimos, una era muy cómoda y espaciosa, pero la otra resultó bastante pequeña. Como único detalle adicional, durante el Mundial hubiera sido un gran plus contar con más televisiones en las áreas comunes para poder disfrutar de los partidos. Fuera de eso, todo estuvo muy bien y tuvimos una estancia muy agradable.

I was really, really disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of the room, especially given the supposed five stars of the hotel and the ridiculous $900/night I had to pay for my room. Dust on walls and air vents, suspicious brown stains on all the drapes, stains on the low quality bed sheets, and dated and well-worn furnishings. The air conditioning struggled in the admittedly unusually hot London temperatures wave during our trip but there was also a general mustiness to the air in the room which left us feeling stuffy and uncomfortable the whole trip. The front desk did try to offer me a lower room when I called and voiced my concerns but the hassle of repacking and relocating our family’s bags in the middle of our trip didn’t seem worth it. I would like to recognize the positive service from one of the concierge who did go out of his way to help us with some recommendations during our trip. It’s not a terrible property. The location was great and the rooms were generous in size, but at the peak prices we had to pay it definitely left us underwhelmed compared to other properties we’ve stayed at in London previously.
