Good location. Very friendly reception staff. Good size room and very comfortable bed. Room a little tired and pool and sauna a big disappointment. You need to walk along a busy road to access a public gym. Pool and rooms very cold. Whole facility a bit scruffy and poorly laid out. Not worth the amount we paid.

It was good.big pull was the pool but not clear it was part of a members club. Pool was dirty and hard to get a swim in between classes etc. also a member was not happy I was there with my two children and voiced it. Not a pleasant experience

Spacious room for the 4 of us. Executive lounge was part of the main restaurant. Wasn’t sure at first, but it actually works very well. Seperate area cordoned off with help yourself food, cooked in the restaurant, and beer, wine and soft drinks. Lots of attentive staff as well. Free access to the gym and pool next door, and they were very welcoming of hotel guests.

After a hiccup relating to the air conditioning, or lack of it on our arrival and a subsequent 3 hour wait to be reallocated to another room our 8 day stay was faultless. Staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was pleasurable. Room was large and clean with a plentiful supply of teas/towels each day. We would probably return to London by car in future however after a disappointing train journey to and from Cardiff - cancelled outbound train so a delay in reaching Paddington followed by the return home train having no catering facilities. The daily parking charge at the Marriott in Maida Vale being the only thing stopping us staying there again. A pity.

Property is not family friendly, it does not have a gym or swimming pool. they have an external gym, block or so a way to be used, very old gyms, swimming pool enclosed within a rook, very low ceiling. Overall very good and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Good location away from the busy downtown area. Elevators are a little slow and one of the three was broken down for our entire stay.

Lots of stuff were broken. There was no shower floor but only a really narrow bathtub with a broken shower head. Plus, the pull out couch bed was broken as a spring popped off. Place felt outdated and needs a makeover. And they charged 40 pounds a night for parking in a really narrow and cramped space. In addition, you can’t use your key card to buzz into the hotel nor the parking garage. You have to call the front desk each time. This is very cumbersome. The food was decent, but overall, it was a poor experience. I was expecting much better from a Marriot in London

Enjoyed the overnight stay, good staff, bar and food, clean room, easy train link to Wembley Stadium. Shame the car park was full on arrival with no way to pre-book a space. We did find free parking close by thanks to the hotel front Desk

I stayed here for 1 night with my family, whilst enjoying some of Londons tourist attractions. Lovely clean hotel, only a 5 minute walk from the tube station. Our train arrived early but we were still able to check in to our room. This made a huge difference, thank you for accommodating us. Our room was very spacious with 2 double beds. Breakfast was also very nice and set us up for a day of sightseeing around London. I travel to London a lot for work and I would 100% stay at this hotel again.

Very nice stay, with helpful front desk staff. Room was very comfortable and clean. My one issue would be that the lounge for Bonvoy members was not well maintained. My colleagues and I stayed a week and each time we went there would be yogurt but no bowls, wine but no glasses, a certain food gone but not replenished, etc. My colleagues have stayed here many times and say that this is always the case. Maybe a short staffing problem. However, everything else was great.

It took over 15mins to be attended to during check-in. Granted the receptionists were busy but it shouldn't have taken so long. I found the room easily and it was clean. The trash of the previous occupant hadn't been emptied. Though it goes without saying that the room was previously occupied, an unemptied trash can is a rude reminder of this.

The hotel it self is really nice, room was comfy and decorated well. However there was a black waste pipe that was visible in my room. This had water running through presumably form the rooms above from about 4am. This woke me up and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I raised my concerns with management at the check out desk, they didn’t seen overly bothered and said they would investigate. I let them listen to a sound recording on my phone to assist in my explanation. I offered them my email address, they weren’t sure why they would need that. I said so they could follow up, so they handed me a scrap of paper and I wrote down my email address. For £260 for one night I’d have expected a lot better.

I checked in to be told that I had been upgraded to the top suite in the hotel and breakfast included! When I got to the room it was essentially the same as I had booked and I had already paid for breakfast! The room was actually a disabled room and the shower height was around 5 ft and I am 6 ft 1in. The showered floor was uneven and the bathroom flooded when taking a shower. I complained but they were not too bothered. If I had been told I had a disabled room and would not be able to enjoy a normal shower than I would not have accepted. Plus it was definitely NOT and upgrade.

The Marriott Hotel Maide Vale is in a great location three stops from the Paddington Hotel near Abbey Road. What I appreciated is that the rooms are nice and spacious and not the tiny little spots around Paddington station. Our room was well designed and we appreciated having the fridge as there are a number of grocery stores within walking distance as well as restaurants. The staff were always very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place and glad I found it.

The staff was fantastic. Front desk staff was very accommodating. They booked us early morning transport and transport to Heathrow for very reasonable prices. Having worked in the hospitality business for over 20 years I can appreciate how hard all of the staff worked for a 5 star stay for my daughter and myself. Train station and subway only two blocks away was a bonus. Room service was also very good.

I called the receptionist next day after waking up in the morning to inform them my mattress was damaged. The right side of the mattress was damaged and bent inwards which caused me severe backache after sleeping during the night because the mattress was uneven. The management promised the issue will be resolved and mattress will be changed. Despite repeated requests, the management failed to address the issue and I had to sleep on the same mattress the next night which was extremely uncomfortable.

The service was great. Friendly staff. When we asked for item for the room they quickly delivered them. Rooms were nice with the most comfortable beds. Easy travel from the Tube to the city.

It took over 15mins to be attended to during check-in. Granted the receptionists were busy but it shouldn't have taken so long. I found the room easily and it was clean. The trash of the previous occupant hadn't been emptied. Though it goes without saying that the room was previously occupied, an unemptied trash can is a rude reminder of this.

Stayed 3 nights at Marriott Maida Vale. Basic hotel in an offbeat location in London. While accessible by tube and bus, its far from all the major sites in London. Also area near Killburn park seemed a bit dodgy. Room was basic and comfortable. Price did'nt include breakfast so we had to go out to Starbucks nearby which was nice to have. Would not stay at this Marriott again. One in Canary Wharf is much nicer and new.

The Marriott Hotel Maide Vale is in a great location three stops from the Paddington Hotel near Abbey Road. What I appreciated is that the rooms are nice and spacious and not the tiny little spots around Paddington station. Our room was well designed and we appreciated having the fridge as there are a number of grocery stores within walking distance as well as restaurants. The staff were always very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place and glad I found it.

This hotel is in an excellent location, only 2 blocks from the Tube station. The rooms are comfortable and the daily housekeeping service was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 12 nights in August and it felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was clean and our room was very spacious with all the amenities one could hope for. Carluccios breakfast was really nice and plentiful. The staff are a credit to the company, all we encountered were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Oumaima in particular was wonderful, When we arrived she could see that I was feeling hot and before she even dealt with me went and got me a bottle of water to ease my thirst. She really made us feel special and extremely welcome. The location of the hotel is not where we would normally have placed ourselves but will certainly be back again for future visits to the Capital. Thank you to Oumaima and the rest of the Team fur making our stay so wonderful.

Very nice stay, with helpful front desk staff. Room was very comfortable and clean. My one issue would be that the lounge for Bonvoy members was not well maintained. My colleagues and I stayed a week and each time we went there would be yogurt but no bowls, wine but no glasses, a certain food gone but not replenished, etc. My colleagues have stayed here many times and say that this is always the case. Maybe a short staffing problem. However, everything else was great.

After traveling extensively it was a relief to get some rest in the Marriott before heading home. Room was great as expected with all amenities and buffet hit the mark. Close to some great parks and the area has a good suburban/ city vibe. Cabs were an issue but the staff did their best at all times.

My only issue what the little cartons of milk for tea were probably stored somewhere warm and caused the milk to curdle. When I asked for more milk to be brought to the room the milks were bought in a container that was warm and appeared dirty on the outside so I was unable to have adequate amountbof hot beverage as required. This put me off having my full breakfast and would the breakfast payment refunded.
