Room we were given had three lights but only one had a light bulb in it…….TV didn’t work……told the front desk when we left for our outing for the day. Came back at 10pm……they gave us a different room. Lights had light bulbs and TV worked but phones didn’t. Pool was green and yucky looking. Said it was closed on the day we arrived for maintenance….next day still green and yucky!

I was told by an agent on their 800 number that breakfast is free, upon check in was then told it's not free. The air conditioner was loud and tried turning it down that didn't work. Also, there is only 1 mirror in the room, which located in the washroom. And no elevators for my senior parents as well.

Nice pool, was warm even on a cold night. We’ve stayed here before and the room upgrades are very nice. Not perfect but for the price point it is great. Clean beds. Found a few things that weren’t clean, spot on the floor when we had to move the bedside table to reach the plug, what looked like a pee stain on the shower curtain or at least something else that was very yellow. Things that could be easily missed. Floors left a brownish stain on our socks. NBD, wear socks. Other main touch areas were all clean.

This place is part way through an absolute mess of a renovation. Door to my room wouldn't completely latch (at least the safety latch actually worked) There were exposed wires on the light in the bathroom and the hall looked like no one had realized drop cloths existed. Don't get me started on the service at the restaurant. Attempted to inform staff while i was checking out and they didn't even say anything. No sorry... Just blew right by it. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Bullet holes in the wall where the pictures were over the , had no grab rails in shower ,mold in caulking around tub, curtains that didnt fit patio door ,ripped had to use garbage can and chair to hold curtains back, no instuction on wifi tv, fridge,, no cups in bathroom . The hall to room was not vacuumed once in my four night stay. The door to the outside had a crack head in first room beside entrance and garbage cans overflowing and all kinds of garbage in parking lot.

I stayed for one night with my family as all the neighbouring hotels were fully booked, and we were absolutely disgusted and disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in our room. There were food crumbs and hair under the beds, dirt in the lamps, and large stains on the walls. The room clearly needs a thorough deep clean, and the walls need scrubbing and repainting. The bathroom was just as bad. There was hair stuck to the shower walls and brown stains on the shower curtain. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable, and we will never stay here again.

The room with dirty. Bathroom vent was furry with years of dust. Floor was not swept and strands of hair still by the tub. Only 2 bath towels provided - no hand towels or wash cloths. Only half of the main door lock was there. Patio door didn’t lock properly. Walls were dirty. Only 1 coffee package provided plus an empty package. The contents of the package were still in the coffee maker. All the front desk clerk could say was “sorry”.

Avoid at all costs! I booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for a night because we were staying late in London and the photos in the ad weren’t too bad. Big mistake!!! The photos of the rooms are absolutely not at all what you get. The hotel is run down, smells bad, has garbage left everywhere. The carpet in the hallway is stained, ripped and covered in dirt/trash. The rooms are disgusting! The bathroom walls were falling apart, there was a huge hole under the light fixture, there was mold in the shower and there were long thick black hairs all over the place. The furniture in the room was old, broken or dirty. We didn’t sit on the couch or chair nor did we use any of the dressers. We extensively checked the bed for stains, bed bugs or anything else that could have been left behind. Luckily the bed was semi okay enough to sleep for a few hours. We left as soon as we got up. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Worst hotel I have ever been and and would not recommend, please go somewhere else. This hotel needs a lot of work and repairs before anyone should stay there.

We also needed a toilet plunger and had to ask three times for that. Mold on bathroom ceiling that was just painted over. The air conditioning was so loud and rattled all night! The hallways were filthy too. I honestly should have left and asked for my money back. Will it stay here again.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke, the common areas were littered with discarded cigarettes butts, uncollected garbage bags were left as well as beer cans, there was visible dirt on appliances and various surfaces (including the toilet, which was dirty upon arrival), there was mold all throughout the shower and shampoo and conditioner dispenser, and the drain in the shower was so clogged with hair that the water wouldn’t drain. Additionally, the photos on the website are not a true reflection of the hotel and need to be updated. The photos may look nice, but I can assure you it’s not. Overall, terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend.

Was just “okay”, price was decent. In room A/C did NOT work which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. Balcony but no chairs. Could use a facelift. Close to many restaurants and easy access from Hwy.

While the parking was easily accesible to the room, the lot was showing the distress of age as was the building exterior. The room had been painted by an amateur, the sink was cracked and the tub surround sealant was amateurishly repaired. On a good note the room was quiet because it was on the back away from traffic and the mattress was very comfortable.

This hotel was great for a one night just sleep (sort of) place. It is an old hotel. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. Coffee maker worked as did the mini fridge. There was a bath tub that held the water but no grab bard if you needed an accessible room. Bed comfy lots of pillows. Yet the room i had was not upkept. The smoke detector was held together with duct tape, the adjoining door had pieces taken out of the wood, the walls had nail and screw holes, dirty paint, the main drape covering the patio door was torn and did not hang properly, poor lighting, the bedside lamp was missing the screw to hold on the lamp shade in place, the bedside lamp outlet to plug in your charger did not work, had to pull out the night stand to plug into the wall, this area had not been cleaned in decades, the phone had no contact information so if an emergency and someone had to call for help stating where they were the entire area was blank. The room i had was 134 so near an exit/entrance that slammed into the wee hours of the morning. Tried to cover the noise with the air conditioning unit but it was so old it was like having a motor boat in the room. This place has been a staple in London for years The restaurant the Knotty Pine has been a place my family have eaten in for decades. Kudos to the staff, property management needs to do some work.

The building is under cosmetic reno's - so our room had been reno'd, but there was a lot of residual dust - the tub was coated in a thin layer of dust. Also, the plugs on the table lamps don't work - no place to charge a phone nearby. The faucet in the bathroom was reversed- so the cold side was warm, and the hot side was cold. The water was barely warm in the shower as well.

Location is good, close the the highway and mall. The rooms are very dated though, and the walls are paper thin. You can basically hear the conversation of the people next to you. They have a nice pool area, but things are pretty sad and run down.

This stay was terrible there were no towels in the room, we stayed for 4 days without room service. Everytime we would ask they will say we don’t have staff for it and we will tell someone to come after 6PM and no one will even come after 6PM. I am kindly asking for my refund, when l went to ask at the front desk they said they would have done it but we booked via third party so we have to ask you guys to refund. The supervisor of the hotel was very nice and that’s all.

Everytime we would ask they will say we don’t have staff for it and we will tell someone to come after 6PM and no one will even come after 6PM. I am kindly asking for my refund, when l went to ask at the front desk they said they would have done it but we booked via third party so we have to ask you guys to refund. The supervisor of the hotel was very nice and that’s all.

The check in staff was great. Friendly and efficient. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable the hallway, however, looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. There were bits of paper and other detritus all over. Not a good look.

check in was slow. Stayed 2 nights - 2 adults. 1 small bath towel each, 1 hand towel & 1 facecloth to share. No room service after first night! Had to ask for more towels, coffee, cups. Cleaning lady said no to towels, but did give us more coffee & cups. Halls were really dirty, carpets, doors, walls-looks like the carpets had not been vacuumed for a month. Tub backed up! Plumber cleared the drain of 'guk'! Our keys didn't work after the first night. I complained about this and how unhappy we were about the room - not one word back from the people at the front desk!!! Seemed like they didn't care! They sent a plumber and more towels! Bed & room were tidy, furniture in poor condition. However, would not recommend this place - they need to clean it up and make some serious repairs & provide better basic amenities!

This place is part way through an absolute mess of a renovation. Door to my room wouldn't completely latch (at least the safety latch actually worked) There were exposed wires on the light in the bathroom and the hall looked like no one had realized drop cloths existed. Don't get me started on the service at the restaurant. Attempted to inform staff while i was checking out and they didn't even say anything. No sorry... Just blew right by it. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Dirty! No towels in room. All three (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) were all empty. Asked four times for towels to be brought. We also needed a toilet plunger and had to ask three times for that. Mold on bathroom ceiling that was just painted over. The air conditioning was so loud and rattled all night! The hallways were filthy too. I honestly should have left and asked for my money back. Will it stay here again.

Definitely wouldn’t stay again. Seemed like some unsavoury people around. The room was so dated and didn’t seem very clean. We slept in our clothes on top of the covers. While I know that it was a cheap room I expected it to be a little bit better. The staff seemed nice though

Gentleman at the front desk was fantastic, friendly, quick and efficient. The hotel is in a great location. Hotel is average, rooms need updating such as paint and basic maintenance. I stayed 1 night, was more than sufficient for a 1 night stay.

The Hotel is conveniently located close to White Oaks mall with easy bus transport to town. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed . Wifi is also reliable . The bathroom is adequate. However there is no complimentary breakfast and no hot water kettle but the unit is equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. Problem … the door to the unit was mis -aligned …a challenge to open and close . Another door I tried posed a similar problem . The shower head needs some CLR or a new head. The tub faucet is loose and hard to lift up to turn to shower mode. Pillows too hard. The vent that blows air needs cleaning. Restaurant was excellent.

Its all you need, a bed for the night and pool to cool off. Great breakfast thats well priced (separate from the hotel). Friendly staff and clean rooms. Between 75 and 100 dollars a night depending on time of year and length of your stay

I did not like the prepardness of the room for two guests. There was only one coffee cup and sugar/ milk for one cup only. We were given two medium bath towels and had to ask for extra towels. The bathroom, in particular, is overdue for an upgrade, especially the door. No bathroom fan. Mould in bathtub corner grout. Online the Knotty Pine restaurant shows a dinner menu. Found out that it is not open for dinner eating. On the plus side, we ate breakfast there, which was satisfying and had good service.

The front desk representatives were friendly and helpful. The hotel was under construction when I stayed there. There is no breakfast included however, there is a restaurant on site. The parking area is congested, but taking into consideration the location of the property, it is in a busy area of London. Shopping for food and other goods is very close. There is a television that did not work. I must say the bed was comfortable, and Walmart was across the street.

This hotel is in need of major renovations. It is worn down, the room doors don't close properly, my faucet was very loose. I asked twice for garbage removal and finally just left it in the hallway. A request for a room refresh was also not met. Paint is in very poor condition everywhere. Maybe time to tear down and rebuild.

There was no couch or a chair beside the office chair my wife had to sit on our cooler we asked for a chair & they said they see what they can do which was nothing.The room look nothing like the picture.The King Suite LOL & no wash cloths. The beb was very good bathroom was clean

We ran out of there quickly as this is not a safe place to stay!! The only positive thing about the hotel is that it is located across the street from the mall and gives access to a lot of feed spots. My family did not stay here! When we attempted to check-in (3:15pm), we were told that our room was not ready. We returned around 6pm to a room that dirty. The headboard had fingerprints all over it, the vent was black with mold,dust, paint was peeling off the walls, and the bathroom had visible lots of mold all around it- tub, sink, blow dryer, etc. When we attempted to turn on the lamp in the room, it knocked out the power to the air conditioner. We alerted the front desk attendant and he was kind and offered for us to check out (2) other rooms. While the other rooms were cleaner- they both also had mold, hairs, chipped paint, ac was on but room was still hot. While in the lobby we noticed a square in the ceiling right outside of the restaurant area and above the steps that had been previously repaired- this 2x2 area had black and green mold all over it. We pointed this out to the attendant as well. Honestly this hotel should be shut down, all the walls and flooring ripped up and a complete renovations. This is very unsafe for people to not only stay in but also breathing in the mold spurs. So many people will be sick just staying there.
