Welcomed in nicely car parking very tight Food in restaurant outstanding - superb taste and good value Room excellent - better than last time I stayed -chose a better room ! On the negative then someone else parked selfishly in the carpark making it extremely precarious to get out - should have been stopped and was charged at dinner for something i didn't have - only noticed today

Clear communication on location and parking prior to arrival. Th staff were friendly and quick to show me to my room, which was much bigger than I expected. It could do with a lick of paint but at 6ft5" the shower head was plenty high enough although doors were a little low and be careful of the large chandelier in the middle of the room. I dined in the restaurant and the food was amazing, overall I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic visit & thoroughly enjoyed my time spent there. Staff were attentive, caring & couldn’t do enough. A great business trip and I would recommend anyone working in the area for a few days to stay here. - however. The car parking at the rear was very tight and due to my early starts it wasn’t helped by other staff/residents blocking my vehicle in plus the rear car park is difficult to reverse into made worse if you have a larger vehicle.

The property only has a very small car park (3 cars) which was problematic. The shower in the room was broken and the shower head un-adjustable so it sprayed water directly in your face. The bed was very good as was the restaurant although we were not aware that there was only a continental breakfast on offer

Great stay at Caravelli. Room was beautiful and food in the restaurant excellent. Continental breakfast in the morning was good. Rooms are above a restaurant so no check in area per se. friendly staff and onsite parking. Great central location for visiting son at uni.

Lovely hotel with rooms above an Italian restaurant within walking distance of Loughborough town centre. Staff were also lovely and very helpful and welcoming. Meal in the restaurant was also lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Very tight parking space but ok, stayed in the Huntingdon room, which only has a slated blind in window, there was a curtain rail but No curtains therefore light shined through all night from the building nearby, the room adjacent has some sort of water issue bubbling constantly, So overall had very little sleep. Will not return!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. It’s a small room but only because it’s a historic beautiful building. It had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant. The food was superb. Good price too. Highly recommended. 👍

The room was in good condition, the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. However the heating in the room did not work the first night, there was plumbing pipes going through the room which made sounds all night, and there was a green fire exit sign inside the room, which was lit all night.

Very friendly Italian restaurant with rooms. The room was comfortable and a good size, but was adjacent to the toilets the restaurant guests used. I came out of my room a couple of times just as men were coming out the gents which was a bit off putting. The room was clean and comfortable if a tiny bit dated. The food and the service in the restaurant was very good although i was a bit sad to find myself eating alone for most of my meal in the annex as the restaurant was I assume full. My biggest complaint was that the music while dining in the annex was very loud, but I felt a bit too embarrassed to ask them to turn it down, two ladies were also eventually shown to a table near me and did ask. It was a lot more bearable then. Breakfast was a continental buffet whcih was fresh and very nice. Overall a very nice place to stay and very easy with the restaurant downstairs.

Brilliant breakfast, the best continental I have had. Great choice and service Bed was comfortable, room cosy, and plenty of self service tea n coffee options. Only problem in the room was that the tv remote would not control the tv, so had to go to the tv to change channel's etc.. I did teport this but nothing was done!

I had the small double business room, the bed and pillows were to hard for me and the emergency exit light in the room omits light all night so the room isn’t dark. The room was extremely hot but to be honest it was a hot day so all in all a very bad night’s sleep

I was in Loughborough for work, so needed something at short notice - Caravelli fit the bill perfectly. Walking in the place smelled amazing - the benefits of being attached to a fantastic restaurant. The staff were very helpful, and explained everything really well. I was shocked when I got to my room - it was HUGE, with a real fireplace. Far from the usual bookings I would usually make. The bed was big and comfortable, and the room was warm. I didn't have breakfast, as I had to leave early, but again - looked amazing. I'll definitely be back

Arrived late in the day and the hosts were very welcoming and we settled in quickly. Very nice and spacious room and we were accommodated for food in the restaurant without any fuss at all.

Couldn't get in - flight was delayed and unable to get any response from number on booking to advise I would need a late check in. Ended up stranded in town having to find a hotel that caters for business

A wonderful place to stay, old world charm but still comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We also ate dinner two nights in the restaurant and that was top notch. I don't have a negative.

Clear communication on location and parking prior to arrival. Th staff were friendly and quick to show me to my room, which was much bigger than I expected. It could do with a lick of paint but at 6ft5" the shower head was plenty high enough although doors were a little low and be careful of the large chandelier in the middle of the room. I dined in the restaurant and the food was amazing, overall I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely atmospheric room. Good size. Modern ensuite with good quality towels. Nice toiletries. Big comfortable bed. Reasonable tea/coffee tray (I always mean to remember to take extra tea bags!!!) Good continental breakfast included with option to pay for cooked. Small parking for free which was a bonus. Well positioned to walk into town. Warm and pleasant staff without being crowding. Would stay again.

Great stay at Caravelli. Room was beautiful and food in the restaurant excellent. Continental breakfast in the morning was good. Rooms are above a restaurant so no check in area per se. friendly staff and onsite parking. Great central location for visiting son at uni.

Lovely hotel with rooms above an Italian restaurant within walking distance of Loughborough town centre. Staff were also lovely and very helpful and welcoming. Meal in the restaurant was also lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. It’s a small room but only because it’s a historic beautiful building. It had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant. The food was superb. Good price too. Highly recommended. 👍

Last minute booking, and there was only 1 room available. It was a gorgeous room, with luxurious features, including a 4 poster bed, and free standing bath. The restaurant is an authentic Italian and the menu was sublime, which oozed quality - both in the ingredients and presentation, all served very attentively. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of continental options too, a full English was an optional extra.

Brilliant breakfast, the best continental I have had. Great choice and service Bed was comfortable, room cosy, and plenty of self service tea n coffee options. Only problem in the room was that the tv remote would not control the tv, so had to go to the tv to change channel's etc.. I did teport this but nothing was done!

A wonderful place to stay, old world charm but still comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We also ate dinner two nights in the restaurant and that was top notch. I don't have a negative.

The property only has a very small car park (3 cars) which was problematic. The shower in the room was broken and the shower head un-adjustable so it sprayed water directly in your face. The bed was very good as was the restaurant although we were not aware that there was only a continental breakfast on offer

Carpets are dirty and my room was next to the toilet and directly above the restaurant so very noisy, the bathroom is very dark, if you want a restful night's sleep this place isn't for you. Breakfast was a continental and they should make this clear when they advertise free breakfast, location is good but I won't visit again

Good alternative to characterless chain hotels. Good value for money, run by very helpful real Italian family. Free parking on site. Would definitely go back if in Loughborough again.

Hotel does have some parking but the majority of parking is either on street or at NCP near Tesco. Decent pubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel restaurant which looked good
