It was good experience staying except there was no air conditioning and fridge in the room.

Outside temp was 85 F and there was no AC in the room. Just a fan that just blew the 85 degree air around. It was like sleeping in a steam room.

Gute hotel, recht zentral gelegen, gut zu erreichen mit ÖV, vis a vis ist auch ein Parkhaus, hilfreich personal beantwortet fragen. Zimmer war gross und sehr sauber. Frühstück ist erst ab 7:00 (sehr strickt!) falls man eine sitzung hat am 8:00 ist es etwas knapp. Das Peruanische restaurant am abend war sehr gut, ist zu empfehlen!

Breakfast was very good. The receptionist needed 45 minutes for our check-in. The next morning he asked us, what we did pay to him. Completely crazzy staff. No air conditioning. We had 33 C in the room. Such an experience never more again.

Bathtub was an antique-like taking a shower in the sink. No A/C. Only highlight was breakfast.

Our main issue was that the hotel and our room were very hot. Portable AC units were provided but were quite noisy. Additionally, lighting in the room was limited. Lastly, the curtains did not cover the bedroom window fully.

Everything goes smoothly specially with the luggage storage. The only downside is no air conditioner.

Hotel was ideal for what we wanted, room sufficient and breakfast was good. Staff friendly check-in and out was easy. Only downside was general cleanliness and condition of room, but dated and could do with an upgrade.

We have stayed here twice. The rooms are clean and nice. I would give it 5 stars but our shower had black spots in the sealant along the base, looks very unsightly and the shower glass door wouldn't slide closed without having to physically lift the thing up as you slide it, a pain in the butt. Otherwise we like staying here because it is very convenient to the river and bridges, not too expensive (for Switzerland), the front desk is great and the breakfast is very good! I will stay again :)

Had to leave as the property was way below expectations. The fans were blowing dirt, I have a video, when the cleaning person came to clean the fans, there was a lot of dust that were taken out. the room was small and old and , the bathroom was old, the bathtub unsafe to use

The hotel is walkable from Luzern train station, and the price seems to be reasonable when i booked the room. But the room is small, noisy, and not clean. I noticed a few tiny black dots on the bed after the shower. When I squeezed one, it was juicy and had red stain on my fingers. I freaked out, searched thoroughly around the bed (but didn’t find more), and contacted the front desk. It was late in the evening and the staff changed the sheets and bedding for me. We slept one night there and checked out first thing in the morning, even though we paid for two nights of stay. Never again in this hotel.

Smutsigt och nedgånget hotell som skulle behöva en totalrenovering. Som exempel var toaletten väldigt smutsigt med avföring kvar i toaletten och allmänt smutsigt på olika ställen. Lägg där till en incheckning som tog mer än 45 minuter. Det ska sägas att jag visste att detta var något av en budgetbokning, men detta var ett boende som det är skamfullt att ta betalt för.

Rooms are way to small, showers were extremely small and no air. Only a fan in the room. Breakfast was good. Location was also good.

Room was so small. Bed was banged up and scratched. Set up for breakfast was loud each morning. Garbage dumpsters out our window made room smelly. But staff were friendly and breakfast very good.

Location was good except that there is a bar directly across the street and at 1am the patrons stand outside and talk very loudly. I requested 3 bed; one was a sofa bed that was broken. The man at the front desk was going to send someone but never showed. Next day housekeeping put the broken pieces back and pretended all was ok. The bed was horribly uncomfortable with most of the slats broken or missing. The other beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. Breakfast was good and i liked the location- other than the bar of course. I can also say that it was hot,and the fans provided were decent. However, i would strongly suggest that if you are visiting Lucerne in summer you should pay more for a hotel with AC.

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms were extremely cramped. We booked a room for four people, but two of us were expected to share a sofa bed. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, with hard springs that made it impossible to rest properly. Housekeeping was almost non-existent. There was no room service at al!! Only towel changes. Basic necessities like toilet tissue were not replenished, which was unacceptable. The shower water pressure was incredibly weak. Given the cold weather, the slow and barely warm shower made the experience even worse. Breakfast was very basic and limited. The spread consisted of eggs, hotdogs, bread, a small salad bar, and orange juice. Definitely not worth looking forward to. The front desk service was also poor. We arrived at 11 a.m and the lobby was empty for an hour as we settled down. We were informed that check-in would be at 3 p.m., which was fine. We left our luggage, went out, and returned at 3 p.m. However, the staff did not attend to us immediately and served other guests first. When she finally attended to us, she requested passport details and proceeded with paperwork for all 10 of us, which took an additional 30 minutes. This was frustrating, especially since we had already completed online check-in and were required to repeat the process manually. Overall, this hotel is not suitable for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The service, facilities, and overall experience were ver

The staff was pleasant, the room was clean. No air-conditioning and the fan did not work. Luckily, we were on the 2nd floor and we could open the window. Pictures online did not match the actual rooms. Shower was a tiny corner, half size tub. The room was very tiny compared to photos. One of our rooms backed up to the alley, which had a trash dumpster outside the window. This caused the room to smell. Overall, I would not recommend. The city of Lucerne is beautiful. There is a great little bar across the street which was quite fun.

The facility seemed very old and wasnt maintained well. The beds were uncomfortable and as pur room was closer to the road very noisy.

Decent hotel, good price. Clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff (very helpful with explaining Lucerne pass, providing power adapters, luggage storage) Good location, walking distance from Old Town and very easy (and regular) buses to Lucerne train station. Would recommend!

Checked in with a gentleman who was very cordial and helped us stow our bags to wait until the 3:00 pm check in. I don’t recall his name because no one offers names or wear name tags. Rooms do not have air conditioning but do have fans which “can circulate air”. We checked out Sunday morning at 7:00 am to make the 15 minute walk to the train station. No one at the desk and there was a barricade pulled down in front of the desk. Upon arrival at the station, I realized I accidentally left my camera and charging cord pack behind on the desk in our room. I knew it as soon as we got on the train. I attempted to call the hotel…no answer. I finally got ahold of them at 12 noon when we reached Heidelberg. I was told they would check my room, “please call back in five minutes.” I did, I spoke with an entirely different person 7 minutes later. He informed me his associate was still checking. He came back and told me nothing was in the room and it was now clean. I offered a reward for its return and explained that it’s return would be appreciated if it was found. I said I’d call back in the morning to check after the cleaning staff returned. We placed at least 6 calls for my personal phone which went unanswered. It’s my error, I left it behind and that’s on me. But I knew exactly where I left it and knew it in 20 minutes. Watch your belongings it would seem this place may be run by less than reputable people. 1 star, if I could give a zero, I would.

깨끗한 객실이었고 무엇보다 직원이 엄청 친절했습니다..햇반 데울려고 전자레인지 있는지 물었는데, 호텔 내에 없어서 옆 레스트랑에 가서 직접 데워다 줬어요.

The staff went far and beyond to make our stay really enjoyable and unforgettable. The hotel is very nice and very close to the old city.

Ich kam vor der Zeit zum Check-in an, aber das Hotel war zu. Keine Erreichbarkeit vorhanden. Ich musste ein anderes Hotel suchen. Keine Reaktionen auf meine Mails. Am Telefon wurde mir dann eine Rückerstattung versprochen, die ich bis heute nicht erhalten habe.

Good location but terrible property . If you come here in summer, you will have a heat stroke . There are no ACs and the fan is useless . Also there is no one at the reception from 8pm - 8 am . So if you end up in a problem or need something - good luck

Walking distance to many attractions. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The room was on busy street so it was noisy.

The hotel is nice , although the bathroom is very small abd if you have any difficulty getting on a high step tub do not stay there. The location is great abd very walkable and the bus stop is very near by. The staff is great.

A very expensive room even for Luzerne. Fan in bathroom very noisy. Good size room and at time of booking only one available. Should have booked flexible rate as cheaper rooms available later. Lesson learned. Breakfast good and plentiful. Easy walk from station.

Located within 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. Family room met our needs, balcony access was nice.

We had a really positive stay here! The staff provided exceptional customer service so friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean and simple, with two fans provided, though it still got a bit warm at night. The TV wasn’t working, but we didn’t end up needing it. Breakfast was enjoyable and so tasty with lot of options available, and the location and steps to old town and the famous bridge it was just excellent with shops, train station and attractions nearby. Overall, an amazing hotel for the price and location definitely recommend for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay! You get a lot more than what you would expect!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Frühstück war gut. Das Zimmer selbst war leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise kaput, so ließ sich die Balkontür nicht ganz schließen, eine Lampe war kaputt und der Wasserdruck war gering. Dafür war die Lage super.

Breakfast good, but one staff member rushed us while the other was much friendlier. Restaurant was overpriced for what it was. Room had unplugged light that took a day to figure out and the safe was broken. Otherwise, nice hotel.

My family spent 6 weeks in Europe traveling through Greece, Italy, and Switzerland and this is the worse hotel we’ve stayed by far. Room was dirty upon arrival—pee on toilet seat, foot print on bed sheet, and hairs in shower. Bath towels were also small. Property does not have air conditioning but do provide a fan for use in room. Lobby, rooms, restaurants were too hot to enjoy stay. Many guests left room doors opened to help with air circulation but this did little to help cool rooms down. Additionally, property is located across the street to bar, which occasionally played loud music until midnight. Breakfast was terrible—quality of food was poor with limited selections and variety of foods.

Great location but very, very simple and the main photo that caused us to book the hotel could not be found. There’s supposedly was Peruvian cuisine, but they were not open. Do not miss the covered Woodbridge down on the lake. That was definitely the highlight of the whole town. Food was amazing at the Rathouse.

Hotel was within 10 minutes distance from train station and we could walk to all the attractions in Lucerne by foot although you can board buses in zone 10 for free when the hotel registers you. Excellent breakfast. My only complaint is the TV was mounted high up touching ceiling so you could only watch it lying down unless you want a sore neck.
