We recently stayed at the Prinzeregent for 4 nights for the Octoberfest in 2 suites. After 4 days the best compliment I can provide is we have booked again for next year. The location is a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the s line and a further 20 mins to the city centre. The rooms are quiet, the breakfast excellent with plenty of choice. The bar offers a good selection but sometimes have a little patience if they are bust and the honesty bar a nice touch if you are late back . The staff are friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.

The staff were very courteous, the restaurant patio was lovely and relaxing, the breakfast buffet was excellent with the best choice of tea I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and the shower was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. And although initially there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, once I asked at the front desk, they gave me a kettle and a whole tray of goodies. It was also very easy to get into Old Town Munich via the train.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great shuttle for local area to get to office or convention center. Good food at restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, and nice bar. Very convenient to metro train stop to get to downtown.

Insgesamt schönes und ruhiges Hotel mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Leider war die Sauna außer Betrieb, und bei der Buchung war es nicht erkennbar, mir wurde trotz Hinweis auch kein Ausgleich angeboten. Zufällig entdeckt: Wasser und Kaffee zur Selbstbedienung während des Tages; ein Hinweis darauf beim Check in fehlte jedoch. Service im Restaurant: ich hatte mit Freunden reserviert im Aussenbereich. Bei aufziehendem Regen fragten wir nach einem Tisch unter dem Dach, was uns nicht gewährt wurde, obwohl ausreichend Platz verfügbar war. Nachfragen zum Nachbestellen von Getränken blieben ganz aus. Beim Frühstück leider kein frisches Obst, fokussiert eher auf Wurst, Käse und Müsli.

In der Nähe der Messe gelegen ist dieses Hotel natürlich nicht super zentral, aber mit der S Bahn ist man gerade mal in 15min am Marienplatz. Tolle, große Zimmer, sauber, super freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, parken vor der Tür. Hat wesentlich mehr Seele als die meisten Hotelketten rund um die Messe.

This property is beautiful, elegant, and surpassed expectation. Our family of four had two adjoining rooms that were spacious and very clean and gave us a lovely respite during our travels. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved this hotel! The room was large, very clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were so polite and helpful. The restaurant is excellent. The neighborhood is very quiet. The hotel is a block and a half from the Riem rail station, walkable in a few minutes. Trains run regularly and it is only 15 minutes to Marienplatz. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering a stay!

Das Hotel befindet sich in ca. 5 Gehminuten Entfernung von der S-Bahn-Station "Riem". Die Bahnanbindungen Richtung Innenstadt und Richtung Therme Erding sind hervorragend. Unser Zimmer war ausgesprochen sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Weder von der Umgebung noch von anderen Gästen im Hotel war etwas zu hören; wir konnten daher ausgezeichnet schlafen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Service war makellos. Besonders gut hat uns das Essen im Restaurant "Der Biermann" gefallen, welches im Hotel liegt. Exzellente Speisen, hervorragender Service. Das Hotel ist ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen.

Stilvolles sauberes und ruhiges Zimmer. Das Abendessen im Restaurant Biermann war hervorragend. Das Frühstücksbuffet bekommt von mir ein „exzellent“. Sehr freundliches Personal überall im Haus. Hier wird der Gast noch als Gast geschätzt. Fairer Preis für ÜF. Wir kommen gern wieder! Danke.

A lovely hotel in a convenient area to explore Munich In the room we stayed in the WiFi was practically nonexistent. I did complain twice about the WiFi issues but still spent the rest of the holiday using my own data at my own expense

We loved our stay. The hotel is Munich's best kept secret. The Front Desk, Marco and Irma were great! Very helpful with providing travel information into the city! The interior of the hotel was very warm feeling! The room was very comfortable and big! The breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of delicious food. The dinner menu was great! Roberto was awesome! We felt like we were with family during our stay!!! What a great experience!!!

Staff are lovely and friendly. Room was quaint and good size. Food in restaurant is excellent. Beds very comfortable. Room very quiet and peaceful. Negatives are mainly room based. No water except 1 tiny bottle between 2 on day 1?? No shampoo or conditioner … not a fan of washing hair with shower gel! Paid nearly 400 euro a night as Adele concert so would have expected basics like this. 2 lights not working or AC but they did fix straight away. Overall though a lovely place and at their non inflated Adele rate nights very good value.

The hotel was at best average, nothing memorabele. Small TV on the room with only German stations and the shower was just terrible and resulted in getting the entire floor of the bathroom wet. Pillows and mattress are typically German, meaning flat and unsupportive. The kitchen closed in the evening at 20.30hr, so when you want to eat around 20.00hr, the food and service is just no good. No one was interested in us as guests, no one offered any refills and only came to our table to ask if we wanted dessert since the kitchen closed within 10 minutes. During lunch, same poor service and quality of food. The breakfast was better because you weren't depended on the staff and the coffee machine gave a decent coffee. I think the only 'VIP' service they gave us was a discount on the parking. Wouldn't stay again.

We loved our stay. The hotel is Munich's best kept secret. The Front Desk, Marco and Irma were great! Very helpful with providing travel information into the city! The interior of the hotel was very warm feeling! The room was very comfortable and big! The breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of delicious food. The dinner menu was great! Roberto was awesome! We felt like we were with family during our stay!!! What a great experience!!!

We went to see Adeke so for location it was great we walked there in about 10 mins easily found and very close to shopping centre too. However if you wanted to visit munich city it’s a few train stops away. Not the prettiest of areas but safe. Food was good in the hotel and staff were pleasant and happy to help.

We loved this hotel! The room was large, very clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were so polite and helpful. The restaurant is excellent. The neighborhood is very quiet. The hotel is a block and a half from the Riem rail station, walkable in a few minutes. Trains run regularly and it is only 15 minutes to Marienplatz. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering a stay!

The hotel was at best average, nothing memorabele. Small TV on the room with only German stations and the shower was just terrible and resulted in getting the entire floor of the bathroom wet. Pillows and mattress are typically German, meaning flat and unsupportive. The kitchen closed in the evening at 20.30hr, so when you want to eat around 20.00hr, the food and service is just no good. No one was interested in us as guests, no one offered any refills and only came to our table to ask if we wanted dessert since the kitchen closed within 10 minutes. During lunch, same poor service and quality of food. The breakfast was better because you weren't depended on the staff and the coffee machine gave a decent coffee. I think the only 'VIP' service they gave us was a discount on the parking. Wouldn't stay again.

The staff were very courteous, the restaurant patio was lovely and relaxing, the breakfast buffet was excellent with the best choice of tea I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and the shower was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. And although initially there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, once I asked at the front desk, they gave me a kettle and a whole tray of goodies. It was also very easy to get into Old Town Munich via the train.

Stilvolles sauberes und ruhiges Zimmer. Das Abendessen im Restaurant Biermann war hervorragend. Das Frühstücksbuffet bekommt von mir ein „exzellent“. Sehr freundliches Personal überall im Haus. Hier wird der Gast noch als Gast geschätzt. Fairer Preis für ÜF. Wir kommen gern wieder! Danke.

We had a fantastic stay!!! Such a cute place and the rooms and facilities are wonderful! The breakfast was the most fantastic experience and very much worth the fee to pay in advance and the convenience!!! We ate at the restaurant one evening also and it was delicious!!! Just outside of the busy Munich center of town and quiet. 10/10 would stay again!!!

We had a great night. The hotel operates with a quality that honestly I haven’t often experienced at this price point. We stayed in spacious suite, which was good for our family of four. The location was very convenient, with only a short walk to the S train into central Munich. The staff were very friendly and professional and definitely like a concierge offering assistance with the trains/tickets. Great breakfast - even weisswurst! Overall one word - quality. Would definitely stay here again.

Only downside was the “cheap” reminders by the ownership group not to take items (lotions bathsoaps and other things not nailed down) posted around the room. I get it…but… Be more classy..give the warning at check-in and then charge them if they take it. For as much as the room cost it felt like a budget hotel vibe posted on walls. Don’t need the explanation of “why” by management…just took away from the visual classiness of the hotel… I would return…would recommend.

Hotellet havde en rigtig god beliggenhed tæt på S-toget, hvilket gjorde det nemt at komme rundt i München. Morgenmaden var god, og personalet var venligt og hjælpsomt. Derudover havde hotellet gode og hyggelige faciliteter. Alt i alt et rigtig behageligt ophold.
