Hotel is clean. Nicely appointed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast buffet. It is on a main street with a nearby bar. Noisy at night. Also, rooms are not air conditioned and no fan. We kept opening the door to get air circulation. It was hot when we were there so room was hot. I would stay there again if in Munich except maybe not in summertime.

O hotel é relativamente perto aos pontos turisticos, não tem estacionamento, a rua é muito movimentada, dificultando acesso ao hotal, caso tenha que descarregar malas de um carro (taxi ou uber).

This hotel earns five stars as a three star hotel. Overall, it is small and located in the center of Munich, but it is in a crowded and slightly rough area filled with a lot of construction and large mix of local residence. Judith at the front desk was extremely helpful on many levels. She really helped boost the score. The area is walkable and accessible to a lot of things such as transportation and shopping for basic goods and groceries, things like that. Walking a bit farther, you can reach higher end shops and services. There is a parking garage beneath it, which is convenient because other parking in the area would be very difficult. The breakfast was really nice, and while simple, had healthy options and was delicious. The rooms are simple and efficient, and can be a little noisy if you are above the street… Which tends to get a bit raucous on the weekends, especially on weekends.

Excellent location between the hauptbahnhof and altstadt. All of the construction, which you have no control over. You may also want to check the elevator too. It has a bit of a bungy affect when stopping.

Muito boa, hotel confortavel, com ar condicionado, boa localização, facil acesso a pé aos principais pontos turisticos, facil acesso a transporte publico, varios restaurantes e mercados nas redondezas. Unico detalhe que quando chegamos ao hotel Wallis fomos informados que não ficariamos hospedados nele mas num hotel parceiro proximo hotel Prasident. Quando chegamos não havia lugar para parar o carro para descarregar as malas, tivemos que estacionar na rua proximo ao hotel e andar com as malas até o hotel. O estacionamento indicado pelo hotel com desconto fica a uns dois quarteiroes de distancia, só complica se tiver que ir com malas e tem que validar o ticket e pagar a cada vez que sai do estacionamento, sem contato com pessoas somente nas maquinas.

Great hotel, walkable to the old city where most of the touristy places are. Our quad room was large and comfortable. They have a/c in the rooms, which none of our other European lodging did. We were really grateful for that since it was hot out. The area seemed questionable at first, but we didn't have any issues.

Das Hotel ist etwas älter, aber sehr zentral gelegen. Gegenüber vom Deutschen Theater. In 10-15 Gehmin. Ist man im schönen Zentrum von München. Wir hatten im 7. Stock das Familienzimmer. Es war ok und sauber. Geputzt wurde nur auf Wunsch, Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt, dafür Handtücher gewechselt welche wir nicht mal benutzt hatten. Getränke inkl. Kaffee sind im Zimmer kostenpflichtig. Die Betten waren alt und die Matrazen ein wenig durchgelegen. Am Abend kann es teilweise laut sein von draussen wenn man das Fenster offen hat. Frühstück Buffet hat es eine gute Auswahl ein bisschen von allem, hat für uns gepasst. Das Personal war nett und freundlich, ausser eine Dame am letzten Tag. Im grossen und ganzen ist das Hotel ok für einen Städtetrip und nicht zu viel für ein Hotelbezahlen will.

Temmeligt slidt hotel, i et ikke så rart kvarter. Mine børn fandt et sexlegetøj inder sengen, det siger vel nok om rengøringsniveauet. Lagnerne var plettede, og puderne klumpede.

Decent price and near to old town. The hotel and area around it is a bit run down. The street is LOUD! The bathtub in my room was really dirty when I checked in. Staff were a bit unfriendly but not rude. Not the worst or best, just okay.

素晴らしい滞在でした。 夜行バスで朝7時過ぎにミュンヘンに到着し、荷物預かりのお願いとお手洗いをお借りしに伺ったのですが、快くご対応くださり、すぐにお部屋を用意してチェックインさせてくださいました！ シャワーを浴びて休むことができたので本当にありがたかったです。 1人でシングルのお部屋を予約していたのですが、ダブルベッド＋ソファベッドの広い部屋をご用意していただきました。 建物は古いですが、清潔です。 水回りの設備は新しくとても気持ちよく滞在できました。 受付の方もお掃除の方もみなさんとても親切でした。 周囲には真夜中過ぎまで営業しているお店が多く、音楽が部屋まで聞こえます。 アダルトなお店も多いので、家族連れやゆっくり休みたい方、高級感を求める方には向かないかもしれません。 人出がある分治安の面では安心でした。夏場はテラス席で食事をしている方も多く、帰宅が夜中になってしまっても嫌な感じはしませんでした。 フロントで鍵を見せるよう声をかけられ、部外者が入ってこないように対策されていることもわかりました。 このお値段でこのクオリティ、立地ならとても満足です。またミュンヘンに滞在する際はリピートしたいです。 親切で丁寧なご対応ありがとうございました！

Everything was clean. The toilet seat cover was losing. The receptionist girl called Amanda’s? She was working on the 10th Jan till 11 pm and again working in the morning when checking out. She was very kind and sweet. I wanted to have a hot drink after coming back late and she had given me a kettle and tea. It felt good after long day in the cold as I was at Zugspitze.

Rezeption war nicht besetzt (Krankheit) Küchenkraft musste Service übernehmen. Küchenkraft Laila war top! Kompliment ohne sie könnte man das Hotel zumachen!!! Familien Suite hat den Namen nicht verdient. Schmutzig, renovierungsbedürftig. Farbe blättert von den Wänden, drübergestrichen, Bodenleisten liegen auf dem Boden. Laminatbiden hebt sich und hat offene/ poröse Stellen. Sofa das zum Schlafsofa umfunktioniert wurde ist aus Kunstleder und der komplette Bezug löst sich auf und bröselt. Auflagen drübergelegt und Spannbetttuch in Schwarz ( graue Haare drauf) drüber zum verdecken. Dann das weiße Laken drauf und fertig ist das Gästebett. Frechheit! Fernsehbuchse wackelt, Fernsehen nicht möglich ( laut Nachwächter im ganzen Hotel nicht) Steckdosen gehen nicht. Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer ohne Kaffeekapseln, Milch, Zucker Schmutziges Geschirr. Nichtraucherhotel auf dem Balkon liegen Kippen verstreut und Kronenkorken, Sektkorken sowie wachsendes Unkraut. Das war nicht einladend!!!

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden durch die Gastgeberin. Zimmer und Bad sehr sehr sauber, Zimmer mit Balkon und sehr bequeme Betten war Super. Das Frühstück war fantastisch es hat an nichts gefehlt, sehr sehr grosse Auswahl und Super schön präsentiert. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, zu Fuss erreicht man die U Bahn in 3 Minuten, sowie die Einkaufsmeile mit vielen Geschäften (Fussgängerzone). Herzlichen Dank an die Gastgeberin wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. !!!DANKE!!!

Frühstück Buffet hat es eine gute Auswahl ein bisschen von allem, hat für uns gepasst. Das Personal war nett und freundlich, ausser eine Dame am letzten Tag. Im grossen und ganzen ist das Hotel ok für einen Städtetrip und nicht zu viel für ein Hotelbezahlen will.

Very old furniture, hotel, everything. Water does not flush in the toilet. Bed uncomfortable. TV does not work. Crowded reception area. Staff start knocking at doors early in the morning. Only good thing is the location, but there are other better hotels in that area. Way too expensive for the service and comfort they provide. Avoid this hotel.

Overall, it is small and located in the center of Munich, but it is in a crowded and slightly rough area filled with a lot of construction and large mix of local residence. Judith at the front desk was extremely helpful on many levels. She really helped boost the score. The area is walkable and accessible to a lot of things such as transportation and shopping for basic goods and groceries, things like that. Walking a bit farther, you can reach higher end shops and services. There is a parking garage beneath it, which is convenient because other parking in the area would be very difficult. The breakfast was really nice, and while simple, had healthy options and was delicious. The rooms are simple and efficient, and can be a little noisy if you are above the street… Which tends to get a bit raucous on the weekends, especially on weekends.

Great hotel, walkable to the old city where most of the touristy places are. Our quad room was large and comfortable. They have a/c in the rooms, which none of our other European lodging did. We were really grateful for that since it was hot out. The area seemed questionable at first, but we didn't have any issues.

オクトーバーフェスト最終日を含んだ4泊でしたので、街全体が通常とは異なった状態での評価になります。 宿泊費もオクトーバーフェスト価格？でとても高額でしたので、他の時期での宿泊なら評価がもっと高いかもしれません。 酔って大盛り上がりの大勢の人々をかき分けて、中央駅からナビに任せて、至る所が工事中の道を10分弱歩き、雨の夜にホテルに到着した時は周辺の様子がわからず少し心細かったのですが、翌朝、晴れて明るくなってみると、ベランダもあり、カールスプラッツにほど近い、とても便利な立地であることがわかりました。 ベットボードの幅の半分、とても幅の狭いシングルサイズのベットマットに少し戸惑いましたが、疲れて眠るだけだったので問題はありませんでした。 もし、セミダブルのベットだったら、クローゼットやテーブルを使うには狭かったのかもしれません。 一度朝食をいただきましたが、朝食内容を含め、紹介されているフロントの写真よりも、とてもアットホームな印象です。 長さは十分ですが幅の狭い浴槽でした。 しかし、日本人としては湯舟に浸かることで一日の疲れが取れて助かりました。 ミニバーと称して冷蔵庫には瓶のコーラやビール等が満杯ですがポットの類はありません。 4泊中、毎日部屋もきれいに清掃されていました。 一つだけ困ったのは鍵です。 欧州のホテルではありがちですが、鍵穴に入れて右に回して押し開けるというもので、回し過ぎてしまうのか、1回ではうまくいかず毎回苦労しました。 また、外出時に鍵を預けるのは、ホテル側は管理しやすいのでしょうが、私のような一人客だと、ちょっとだけ外出することを躊躇してしまいますね。

Rezeption war nicht besetzt (Krankheit) Küchenkraft musste Service übernehmen. Küchenkraft Laila war top! Kompliment ohne sie könnte man das Hotel zumachen!!! Familien Suite hat den Namen nicht verdient. Schmutzig, renovierungsbedürftig. Farbe blättert von den Wänden, drübergestrichen, Bodenleisten liegen auf dem Boden. Laminatbiden hebt sich und hat offene/ poröse Stellen. Sofa das zum Schlafsofa umfunktioniert wurde ist aus Kunstleder und der komplette Bezug löst sich auf und bröselt. Auflagen drübergelegt und Spannbetttuch in Schwarz ( graue Haare drauf) drüber zum verdecken. Dann das weiße Laken drauf und fertig ist das Gästebett. Frechheit! Fernsehbuchse wackelt, Fernsehen nicht möglich ( laut Nachwächter im ganzen Hotel nicht) Steckdosen gehen nicht. Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer ohne Kaffeekapseln, Milch, Zucker Schmutziges Geschirr. We were looking for a hotel close to the main train station and local transit stops, and a clean, comfortable, and affordable room. We found it at Hotel Wallis. The staff were friendly and helpful – especially Pasqualina who worked the evening shift and who we saw most often. She answered questions about how to get to different places, a Bavarian restaurant, and things to see. It’s close to many shops, restaurants and transit. Just watch out for the bicyclists – there are many, they are everywhere, and they ride fast!

Booked this hotel but when I arrived was told I was down the street at Hotel President. So had to drag my luggage down the street to the other location. Hotel was dated and room wasn't like pictures. It was run down and area had lots homeless people. Walking downtown was close though.

Conveniently located close to old town - which is lovely and a must see while you are there. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Our room was clean and comfortable. Was also within walking distance to Oktoberfest, which was our main reason for this visit.

Everything was clean. The toilet seat cover was losing. The receptionist girl called Amanda’s? She was working on the 10th Jan till 11 pm and again working in the morning when checking out. She was very kind and sweet. I wanted to have a hot drink after coming back late and she had given me a kettle and tea. It felt good after long day in the cold as I was at Zugspitze.

Excellent location between the hauptbahnhof and altstadt. All of the construction, which you have no control over. You may also want to check the elevator too. It has a bit of a bungy affect when stopping.

Hotel is clean. Nicely appointed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast buffet. It is on a main street with a nearby bar. Noisy at night. Also, rooms are not air conditioned and no fan. We kept opening the door to get air circulation. It was hot when we were there so room was hot. I would stay there again if in Munich except maybe not in summertime.

Nice hotel, and much better than expected for the price. A little dated but absolutely fine, staff super friendly, breakfast absolutely delicious. Location is great - a few people in these reviews made it sound like it was a poor location but it was absolutely fine, safe, lots of shops and businesses nearby, and only 10 mins walk to the Old Town. I very much recommend this place.

This hotel earns five stars as a three star hotel. Overall, it is small and located in the center of Munich, but it is in a crowded and slightly rough area filled with a lot of construction and large mix of local residence. Judith at the front desk was extremely helpful on many levels. She really helped boost the score. The area is walkable and accessible to a lot of things such as transportation and shopping for basic goods and groceries, things like that. Walking a bit farther, you can reach higher end shops and services. There is a parking garage beneath it, which is convenient because other parking in the area would be very difficult. The breakfast was really nice, and while simple, had healthy options and was delicious. The rooms are simple and efficient, and can be a little noisy if you are above the street… Which tends to get a bit raucous on the weekends, especially on weekends.

For the price it was ok. close to old town Munich. Neighborhood wasn't great (homeless, "rough" at night. Breakfast wasn't great.

Conveniently located close to old town - which is lovely and a must see while you are there. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Our room was clean and comfortable. Was also within walking distance to Oktoberfest, which was our main reason for this visit.

This is a very nice hotel near the old town and good communications. It was easy to get there to and from the airport with the train to Karlsplatz. The breakfast was very good and the room was clean and quiet. It took about 15 mins to walk to Marienplatz.

The experience was quite bad. The reception staff was unpolite. The hotel is in quite bad shape and there was a horrible accident at the hotel that my kids witnesses. Although that was of course not the hotels fault, the staff span the story and didn't tell the truth about what happened. We could not have happier getting out of there.

Excellent location and wonderful hospitality! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic—just a 5-6 minute walk to Munich’s historical sights, the tram, the main train station, and the city center. Our room was cleaned daily, and we didn't encounter a single issue during our stay. The breakfast was satisfying and definitely hit the spot. A special thanks to Ms. Şükriye, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist everyone. This hotel offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
