The hotel is very quaint and in a great location. I especially loved the elevator. The staff was excellent! My only complaint with my stay was that there was no air conditioning and the window only opened a crack. Because it was summer, it was stifling hot.

This room type is on an upper floor so you have a nice view and very little noise. No A/C, but there is a ceiling fan and the evenings are quite cool in late June/early July. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay here!

It was mid summer in Munich and we discovered only in the hotel that it does not have ACs. In the description here on Expedia there is no a single word that the hotel does NOT have AC. It was 2 awful sleepless nights. Additionallly: the hotel is very outdated and its rating on Expedia does not fit to the reality.

Loved the location of this hotel! Extremely quiet street but minutes from everything you need. We had a bunk bed “train” room. Beds were a bit hard and more hooks to hang up things would be useful as floor space is tight. But it worked and the location and friendly staff more than made up for any room shortcomings. Also excellent shower and hot water.

This is a very cute hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is located just out side the old town of Munich so it's perfect, close but not so close you have to deal with the noise and crowds.

The breakfast was nice but pretty expensive for what was on offer. The staff was very helpful and even allowed us to check in early because our room was ready and this was hugely appreciated. The Small fridge in the room was so helpful! Location was amazing. The only limitation of our particular room was that there was no air-conditioning but it is fair given that we paid a very inexpensive price in the summer months. This also worked out quite fine in the end because it was not too hot, and they gave us a nice fan which made a big difference. I would go back especially since there are dedicated gluten-free restaurants nearby, Marienplatz and subway, are just five minute walk.

This is a good hotel in the old town of Munich. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, and the location was excellent. The hotel's train theme is quite charming. Will definitely recommend.

This is a good hotel in the old town of Munich. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, and the location was excellent. The hotel's train theme is quite charming. Will definitely recommend.

Nice location on a quiet street within walking distance of Marianplatz and lots of shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. The room was a little small but typical of European hotels. There was a carafe for boiling water and a few teabags included. Disappointed that no coffee was included. Had to pay for coffee from the front desk.
