Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich Hotel is definitely a luxury hotel in a German way. As soon as you approach the hotel, you notice the luxurious cars, the classy and well-dressed patrons, and the extremely professional staff outside. The hotel is situated on a very exclusive strip and is surrounded by high-end luxury fashion shops. The lobby is very impressive and boasts a wonderful upscale ambience. Well-off, opulent Germans and monied foreigners sip wine in the gracious lobby. Definitely a special experience.

Perfect location, very friendly staff. Property seemed a bit outdated, furniture chopped, old bath robes, some towels need to be thrown away, limited package of toiletries. Very nice hotel overall. A little disappointing that the “view” out of the windows was an inner rooftop area of blank walls. Also, small things such as a cheap coffee maker in the room and no shower lotion soap, just bar soap. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the lobby is very nice.

We had the most wonderful stay at Kempinski Munich! The hotel was simply gorgeous! Breakfast was served at the most beautiful setting and the food was top notch. We also loved the Jahreszeiten Bar, it made us feel like we were in some glamorous 1920's bar and that Charles Chaplin could walk in at any moment. Our room was lovely (they even provided rubber ducks for the bathtub, which was a first for us) and since the temperature was about 33C outside I can't say enough how nice it was to have a really good air-conditioning in the room. And finally the staff. They were so kind and thoughtful and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Special thanks to Pia Scholz and Melanie Bauer from Guest Service. We won't stay anywhere else when visiting Munich, that's for sure.

El servicio al cliente es extraordinario, la recámara de mis hijos tenía un problema con una ventana y los cambiaron inmediatamente de habitación. Nos apoyaron para dar seguimiento de unos aretes olvidados en Finlandia y una maleta que no llegó a München. Personal amable y atento que hacen la gran diferencia! El hotel muy cómodo aunque no sabíamos que la alberca estaba en mantenimiento y no pudimos utilizarla. Regresaremos sin duda a este hotel!!

We absolutely love the hotel! The only down side was that so do many other people apparently. The lobby bar was always crowded as well as the hotel bar. Whenever we asked if there was seating, they said we needed to reserve a spot. But there were conflicting answers whenever we tried to request a spot. Others however seemed to come and sit right down without waitstaff assigning spots. Disappointed in the handling of seating. I felt that hotel guests should be given priority.

Vier Zimmer für die Familie gebucht, fünfstelliger Betrag bezahlt – aber vier Tage lang blieben gebrauchte Gläser im Zimmer, Teppich voller Fussel. Ab 7 Uhr morgens Baggerlärm vor den Fenstern. Top-Lage, aber Service und Sauberkeit absolut kein Kempinski-Niveau.

La Tv dovrebbe proporre app direttamente senza dover condividere con cellulare rete Wi-Fi un po lenta. Per il resto tutto perfetto

Had lovely check in. Our 2 rooms were interconnected but took hours & multiple requests to have connecting doors opened. Multiple bad customer service experiences especially with bar staff in the evening. Room was small but ok. Housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was additional €45pp and not v good except for inlet station. At Check out had been billed for car parking & they kept asking was I sure I didn’t park…. Very sure, we had no car! A lot of € spent but not great experience unfortunately.

Beim Einchecken wurde uns ein Schlüssel für ein Zimmer gegeben, dass noch belegt war. Das darf natürlich nicht passieren. Die Entschuldigung des Mitarbeiters war leider etwas dürftig, ich hätte da zumindest ein kostenloses Upgrade oder einen Drink an der Bar erwartet. Beim Check out mussten wir über zehn Minuten auf unser Auto warten, weil die Mitarbeiter mit einer Grossfamilie beschäftigt war und keine Zeit für uns fanden. Unser Zimmer war sicherlich mal sehr schön, aber leider etwas abgewohnt.

Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel in toller Lage. Dennoch gab es ein paar Punkte, die durchaus negativ waren. Zimmer: recht klein und etwas verlebt. Fast durchgehend Abflussgeräusche aus dem Badezimmer. Hotelpersonal: sehr unterschiedlich - wir haben sowohl, sehr schöne, aber leider ebenso negativen Erfahrungen gemacht, sodass wir eher mit gemischten Gefühlen abgereist sind. Gerade auf diesem Sterneniveau haben wir da doch mehr erwartet und auch so in vergleichbaren Häusern noch nicht erlebt. Hervorzuheben ist sicherlich der Barbereich. Vor allem das Team war super! Absolute Wohlfühlatmosphäre.

Stayed in one of the upgraded, renovated rooms. Room was nice and spacious. So was the bathroom. However, it seems like they forgot about the WC; it was literally pushed back behind the door! Obviously, with no privacy, no bidet or a washlet in place! ….cramped up foyer by the way!

I booked a better room which I thought would have a couch, instead there was just a single chair. In my opinion it is over priced but I guess people are willing to pay. The pillows are down, you need to stack them four high to get any support but that's Europe for you. The location is great, service is good, rooms are quiet. My biggest complaint is the cost, I'll pick a different time of year to visit Munich next time.

The hotel is situated in an ideal location. The staff are friendly and work to meet your needs. The hotel rooms are a bit older and some of the amenities do not work the way they should. I would still recommend this hotel but know that there are opportunities for upgrades and improvements.

Ok so I checked in with my sister. We were greeted with an average response . The room given had zero view and felt like a jail. The second room given was dark and dingy , a bit outdated but we took it. Next morning my sister’s back was gone b/c the mattress was very bad( all springy no memory foam) definitely not for a 5 star standard. Eventually lights were fixed next morning but we both were so harassed and annoyed. The hotel gave us free breakfast for 3 mornings out of 5 but no discount or voucher of any sort. In short , location is ideal but hotel is not up to par for a 5 star hotel.
Ok so I checked in with my sister. We were greeted with an average response . The room given had zero view and felt like a jail. The second room given was dark and dingy , a bit outdated but we took it. Next morning my sister’s back was gone b/c the mattress was very bad( all springy no memory foam) definitely not for a 5 star standard. This is a beautiful high-end hotel. There were expensive luxury cars parked outside and dropping guests off all the time. Most guests looked like a million bucks! When we arrived after an overnight flight from Toronto, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that our room was ready and that we had received a complementary room upgrade. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and faced a very quiet side street. The bathroom only had a single sink which we are not used to, but the heated floors and fancy bidet toilet made up for it! The bed was very comfortable. The room came with robes and slippers. I recommend getting the breakfast included with your stay. It was excellent & included tattinger champagne! There was also a warming oven for fresh croissants, chocolate croissants and some other breads. There were traditional German breakfast items such as sausages, but also things like smoked salmon. There were made to order eggs, some of which came with caviar! This was definitely one of the nicest hotel breakfasts we have had. The hotel is located on a street with all of the high-end stores. It is also a three minute walk from the famous Haufbrauhause and less than a five minute walk to the Marienplatz and Virtuelmarkt. We walked everywhere and felt safe all the time. The hotel is also conveniently located to public transportation. For instance, we took the train to see the BMW Welt. And we took the train on our own to Dachau concentration camp. All very easy.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski München. Hotel is in a prime location with many shopping and restaurant options. Hotel and amenities are five star. Breakfast is an experience I would not pass up. Hotel staff helped however they could. Very helpful and accommodating. Room was quite spacious with an excellent shower. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

El servicio al cliente es extraordinario, la recámara de mis hijos tenía un problema con una ventana y los cambiaron inmediatamente de habitación. Nos apoyaron para dar seguimiento de unos aretes olvidados en Finlandia y una maleta que no llegó a München. Personal amable y atento que hacen la gran diferencia! El hotel muy cómodo aunque no sabíamos que la alberca estaba en mantenimiento y no pudimos utilizarla. Regresaremos sin duda a este hotel!!

This was our third time at this Hotel and again we were not disappointed. The location of the Hotel is perfect for getting around Munich. There is so much to see and do locally and you can travel quite easily to other cities. On this occasion, we travelled to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest with Get Your Guide. This was a trip not to be missed. The best part of our stay in Munich is the Hotel. The Staff are professional and extremely helpful. The breakfasts are amazing and the Staff are very attentive nothing is too much of a bother for them. We have stayed in the same room, although on different floors, on each of our visits. The Housekeepers do a wonderful job. On this occasion we got to know Karlo Zupanic from the Concierge team, who provided us with expert knowledge on where to visit and every day made sure to ask if we needed any assistance, which we did. Also at Reception we would like to mention Francesca and Pia who were both so helpful in arranging our trip to Nuremberg. We also would like to mention Omabi who is always there to welcome you when coming and going from the Hotel. We hope to visit again in the very near future.

Had lovely check in. Our 2 rooms were interconnected but took hours & multiple requests to have connecting doors opened. Multiple bad customer service experiences especially with bar staff in the evening. Room was small but ok. Housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was additional €45pp and not v good except for inlet station. At Check out had been billed for car parking & they kept asking was I sure I didn’t park…. Very sure, we had no car! A lot of € spent but not great experience unfortunately.

This property does not provide Five Star service nor understands the meaning of it. At check-in. They stated our room was ready, but needed to be approved by the manager. They asked that we sit in the lobby. After 15 min, we decided to have lunch in lobby. 30 min later, we did not hear from the front desk. We went up to the same clerk and she was confused. A five star resort, would have found us when the room was ready and brought us the keys. And had the luggage sent to our room. We ate at the lobby and bar on 3 different occasions. The wait staff wall by you and do not even acknowledge your presence. It's like a hunting game to get their attention. I blame the management for not teaching them what 5 star service is. Try the Mandarin Oriental.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr, und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Diesmal aber nicht. Grund: wir haben exzipiert das Zimmer im 1. Etage gebucht da ich kein Fahrstuhl benutze. Es wurde aber uns im 5. Etage zugewiesen. Erst nach Nachfragen bekamen wir eines wie gewünscht. Das Frühstück mussten wir 30 min. warten bis alles bestellte auf dem Tisch war und mehrere male nachfragen. Beim Checkout haben wir es gesagt aber es wurde gar nicht darauf eingegangen nur genickt. Das Gepäck einladen im Auto war auch nicht sehr freundlich, auch mussten wir noch um ein Mineralwasser bitten. Alles in allem diesmal enttäuschend

I was there for a funeral from my best friend, unfortunately when I arrived at the funeral I noticed I left my wallet on the bed at the hotel … but I didn’t want to leave the church and come back to the hotel … I stayed for the eulogy and after lunch back to the hotel … to my surprise the wallet was still on the bed but some cash was taken … if you take it at least take all not just some … and it left a bad taste in my mouth … I didn’t complain because I felt it was my fault anyway leaving it out in the bed …. But I was still annoyed … what is 300 Dollars to me .. actually small change … would I stay again at the hotel … na …thanks

Unfortunately we asked for two separate rooms in our reservation but ended up with a king size bed. The room was very small considering the cost of almost 600 euros a night. Additionally, the front desk guy told us we were getting an amazing room but it turns out it was on first floor with windows opening to an internal gray patio. No natural sunlight. Unfortunately we asked for two separate rooms in our reservation but ended up with a king size bed. The room was very small considering the cost of almost 600 euros a night. Additionally, the front desk guy told us we were getting an amazing room but it turns out it was on first floor with windows opening to an internal gray patio. No natural sunlight.
