Wir haben das Hotel gewählt, weil wir in der Muffathalle ein Konzert besucht haben. Diese ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Auch die Altstadt ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet und sauber. Das Musikkonzept ist witzig. Gutes Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal.

We were very welcomed to the hotel. The staff staid overtime to help us park the car and guide us to the room. IT is a relatively small and quiet hotel close to the park. I believe will go there often.

I LOVED staying at this hotel. We were lucky enough to get a room with air conditioning. It's a beautiful hotel with a great theme. The staff was PHENOMENAL, answering any questions we had and storing all of our luggage for us on our last day (we were traveling in a group of 12). The rooms are nice and there is an elevator. We were even allowed to play cards in the lobby bar in the evenings. There is a tram stop about 500 feet away so it's easy to get around in the city.

We really liked this hotel. The decor was cool, the rooms were comfortable and the front desk staff was excellent. The only negative I can say about this property concerns the bar /breakfast service area. We went in for a drink at the bar one evening and there was only 1 bartender to service the entire room (dinner & bar service). He was friendly but overwhelmed and the service ended up being slow. He was very apologetic. We checked out early on a Saturday morning (before breakfast was to be served). The front desk clerk suggested that we could grab a coffee from the bar & maybe a muffin to eat before we left … we went in to the bar/restaurant and the staff working there was very irritated with us for coming in and wasn’t interested in serving us. She never “warmed up” to us, even after the Front Desk Clerk came in to talk to her in our before. Overall, I would recommend this hotel & would return but likely wouldn’t go in to the bar / restaurant.

We travel a lot, Germany was not necessarily the easiest to find small properties with reasonable prices. Many businesses had intentionally inflated their rates because of Oktoberfest. As fun and festive Oktoberfest is to experience, the event is located in a large outside space that you need to find your way to, and navigate through thousands of festival goers and probably get discouraged from paying for overpriced food and beer, especially when it’s next to impossible to enter a bier garten. Despite all that, Design-Hotel JAMS was a property worth the time researching. Barely a 10 walk from the subway, barely a 15 minute walk to Altstadt… the hotel sits on an arm of a circle that you can walk an entire 360 degrees and back to the hotel with endless things to admire, appreciate, dine, and enjoy and realize you may not even need transportation if you take your time to stroll through this historic beautiful part of the city. The hotel was all around cute, clean, and the staff “uber” friendly as well as friendly. The quality put into the hotel from the rooms to the restaurant is mentally satisfying which is why we prefer to research boutique hotels versus large properties where we find we are just another reservation. The breakfast was hand crafted from the endless coffee options, to the cheeses, cured meats, breads, and individually made omelettes. If we find our way ever back to Munich, JAMS is a hotel we’d be happy to spend time at again. Thank you team at JAMS!

Fantastic hotel. Very comfortable. All staff including front desk, at breakfast, and evening bar staff very welcoming and friendly. Beds very comfortable. Room very clean and spacious. Good lighting in the room. Would definitely want to stay again.

Amazing location- very walkable. Super clean and nice rooms. Amazing service!!! Staff are super nice and accomodating. You do hear some noise from other rooms and i wished there was a gym, but overall, its a fantatic hotel. Would definitely stay again just because the service was so good.

We came for the week and booked a comfort suite. We found the service to be very good. The breakfast staff was amazing and very friendly. There’s an extensive continental breakfast with a variety of speciality coffees that they make on demand. They’ll also provide cooked eggs and juice if requested. The breakfast area is also comfortable. Our room was spacious but we learned after we booked that although the website still says free mini-bar they had discounted this service. Biggest concern was that there was no AC even though the website stated it which caused us to be very warm on some nights. When asked, the clerk said the compressor wasn’t working. There was no AC all week. So while the service was solid, we would not return due to the items listed above.

I had two rooms. One for my parents and one for my sibling and me. The heating didn’t work and we needed to order a heater to the room. The toilet is a closet and is really small. The rooms didn’t have a tea or coffee machine which is standard even in a motel. The breakfast didn’t have a lot of options in the morning. Note- the shower is not exactly private so let’s say this hotel is not family friendly. Staff was helpful, the issue is the hotel and the amenities itself.

A fantastic off the walls hotel with really nice staff members as well as a great location. The biggest downside was that there was no A/C which was absolutely brutal in the summer as an American. To their credit they did have a portable A/C unit but it just did not hold up in the heat.

The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The bar and the restaurant area are really nice. However, the room was incredibly hot and the portable AC was not sufficient enough to cool it down which can be a pain when traveling with a small kid. Everything else was great.

Fantastic hotel. Very comfortable. All staff including front desk, at breakfast, and evening bar staff very welcoming and friendly. Beds very comfortable. Room very clean and spacious. Good lighting in the room. Would definitely want to stay again.

We were standing in front of closed doors in the middle of the night (3AM). The hotel didn’t inform us that they have no reception and a passcode is needed. I called the service hotline which didn’t give us the code and said we will be called Back. This never happened. It was freezing outside and we had to wait 3 hours in front of the closed door.

I LOVED staying at this hotel. We were lucky enough to get a room with air conditioning. It's a beautiful hotel with a great theme. The staff was PHENOMENAL, answering any questions we had and storing all of our luggage for us on our last day (we were traveling in a group of 12). The rooms are nice and there is an elevator. We were even allowed to play cards in the lobby bar in the evenings. There is a tram stop about 500 feet away so it's easy to get around in the city.

We really liked this hotel. The decor was cool, the rooms were comfortable and the front desk staff was excellent. The only negative I can say about this property concerns the bar /breakfast service area. We went in for a drink at the bar one evening and there was only 1 bartender to service the entire room (dinner & bar service). He was friendly but overwhelmed and the service ended up being slow. He was very apologetic. We checked out early on a Saturday morning (before breakfast was to be served). The front desk clerk suggested that we could grab a coffee from the bar & maybe a muffin to eat before we left … we went in to the bar/restaurant and the staff working there was very irritated with us for coming in and wasn’t interested in serving us. She never “warmed up” to us, even after the Front Desk Clerk came in to talk to her in our before. Overall, I would recommend this hotel & would return but likely wouldn’t go in to the bar / restaurant.

The JAMS hotel is a great find and i will continue to stay thete due to it's excellent staff, great breakfast, funky, fun atmosphere, and proximity to a major SBAHN. I must say this boutique hotel hits a 5star on everything and once again the staff are the bes- bar none.

We travel a lot, Germany was not necessarily the easiest to find small properties with reasonable prices. Many businesses had intentionally inflated their rates because of Oktoberfest. As fun and festive Oktoberfest is to experience, the event is located in a large outside space that you need to find your way to, and navigate through thousands of festival goers and probably get discouraged from paying for overpriced food and beer, especially when it’s next to impossible to enter a bier garten. Despite all that, Design-Hotel JAMS was a property worth the time researching. Barely a 10 walk from the subway, barely a 15 minute walk to Altstadt… the hotel sits on an arm of a circle that you can walk an entire 360 degrees and back to the hotel with endless things to admire, appreciate, dine, and enjoy and realize you may not even need transportation if you take your time to stroll through this historic beautiful part of the city. The hotel was all around cute, clean, and the staff “uber” friendly as well as friendly. The quality put into the hotel from the rooms to the restaurant is mentally satisfying which is why we prefer to research boutique hotels versus large properties where we find we are just another reservation. The breakfast was hand crafted from the endless coffee options, to the cheeses, cured meats, breads, and individually made omelettes. If we find our way ever back to Munich, JAMS is a hotel we’d be happy to spend time at again. Thank you team at JAMS!

Great location, close to transportation and restaurants. Staff was super friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. Rooms were a good size. Was a little warm in the room but we were able to open the window. I would stay again.

We came for the week and booked a comfort suite. We found the service to be very good. The breakfast staff was amazing and very friendly. There’s an extensive continental breakfast with a variety of speciality coffees that they make on demand. They’ll also provide cooked eggs and juice if requested. The breakfast area is also comfortable. Our room was spacious but we learned after we booked that although the website still says free mini-bar they had discounted this service. Biggest concern was that there was no AC even though the website stated it which caused us to be very warm on some nights. When asked, the clerk said the compressor wasn’t working. There was no AC all week. So while the service was solid, we would not return due to the items listed above.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het hotel Jams in München! Het enige dat we misten was een airco (aangezien het erg warm was toen wij er waren). Verder was alles heerlijk! Goede bedden, lekkere douche, heerlijk ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel en het hotel lag in een heel gezellige buurt op een kwartiertje lopen van het centrum van de stad. We hebben ook nog heerlijk even op het terras gezeten. Top!

Luktet mugg på rommet,våre klær fikk denne lukta etter å ha hengt. Vannglassene hadde tannkrem rester og ble ikke byttet ut. Ingen stoler på rommet. Bra plassering av selve hotellet, rolige omgivelser og en fin gåtur ned til sentrum.

The hotel was advertised as being Wheelchair Accessibile which was important for our stay as my wife uses a wheelchair. We did also indicate as part of the booking we required step free access from the street to the room, although we did not receive a message in response from the hotel we did not consider this an issue as we had been clear with our requirements. Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by two steps from the street to the reception, after struggling to lift my wife up the two steps to the entrance we were greated by a member of staff on reception who seemed to find our struggle amusing judging by the snigger on his expression. We did check in but only so we had somewhere to sit for an hour whilst we found another hotel to book which was fully accessible. I appreciate that from a Hotels.com point of view accessible may not include step free access from the street to the room, but I feel as though the Design Hotel could have averted this situation if they had bothered to reply to our message upon booking. I can only infer that the staff of the Design Hotel group just don’t care about their guests and find it unnecessary to respond to their messages.

We did check in but only so we had somewhere to sit for an hour whilst we found another hotel to book which was fully accessible. I appreciate that from a Hotels.com point of view accessible may not include step free access from the street to the room, but I feel as though the Design Hotel could have averted this situation if they had bothered to reply to our message upon booking. I can only infer that the staff of the Design Hotel group just don’t care about their guests and find it unnecessary to respond to their messages.
