The staff were all phenomenal!! It was a last minute booking due to another one canceling on us; But we agree it was the best place we stayed the entire trip. Large dining room, very large buffet for breakfast. A separate bar with entertainment some nights. The rooms are clean, warm, updated and there is a pool. We highly recommend!!

A hotel with lots of character. Excellent free parking across the road. Staff at reception very friendly and personal - spent time explaining and showing us facilities. Dinner in restaurant was first class and reasonably priced. Also enjoyed breakfast. Couple of minor issues with bedroom which were corrected within minutes of them being reported.

This is a pleasant hotel. The town it was located in had few options to eat elsewhere. They were not open for lunch but we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. They cater to groups but they made sure to reserve us a table out of the way.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Balavil Hotel. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent and freshly cooked to order. Room was very clean and looked like the hotel has been refurbished and redecorated recently. Swimming pool was a welcome addition to the amenities.
