A estadia foi de 2 noites

Loved this hotel always went with friends. Unfortunately due to the lifts broken ( for a year ) it took me 20 min to get from floor 6 as the only lift working was always full when it got to my floor . I did walk the stairs when I could but with cases and in a swimming costume wasn’t possible ! Also I had always had a twin room which was three time as big as the one given . As it was my sons wedding we needed space and the room was small no draws 1 wardrobe no hanging space for coats etc.

The staff were very helpful and polite. The communal areas were excellent with plenty of space. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. However, the fact the lifts weren’t working is a major negative especially for guests with mobility issues. The quality of the room for the price was poor. Flaking paint on the bathroom ceiling. Shower screen leaked causing the floor to be very wet. The toilet is in the wrong position. Mattress was far too soft and felt like springs had gone. Lack of decaf drinks in room. We stayed in a Premier plus room for quarter of the price and the room was so much better appointed. To have no accessible rooms is unacceptable- some people cannot physically climb into a bath. Food and dirty dishes were left for over 12 hours by the lift. Not appealing for guests to have to pass each time they used the lift. Your staff are definitely your best asset and they shouldn’t have to deal so many complaints due to poor facilities. Even one of your staff agreed when I brought it up.

It's disappointing to have to make a negative review on an otherwise better than average hotel. Currently, both main lifts are out of service. Guests have to reach eight bedroom floors via 1 small service lift and to access this through staff areas/corridors. My gripe was about just how satisfactory these arrangements were. To me, they were not. Detritus of all types was evident, dirty linen, loaded trays, food waste, and all kinds on 'non guest friendly' clutter. Guests are expected to walk through this on the way to their room with family members/luggage etc. The GM's message to team members somewhat at odds with the reality of the situation - and in a premium hotel.
