Alberca muy fria

Solo tuve un pequeño inconveniente, el elevador se descompuso. Lo bueno es que hay dos, pero el otro solo llega hasta el piso 6 y yo me hospedé en el 7

todo muy bien, salvo que el agua de la alberca esta un poco fría y tenían descompuesto un elevador

La alberca NO TIENE CALEFACCIÓN; está helada los niños no pudieron nadar.

No me gustó el estacionamiento, no le dan preferencia a los huéspedes, Y te envían a un estacionamiento,desde el cuál debes caminar con tus maletas.

Bien en general, sistema de ascensor antiguo y insuficiente por el tamaño del hotel. Saludos

Escogí ese hotel por la alberca y resulta que estaba fuera de servicio, sería bueno que mencionaran eso antes del check in para buscar otras opciones.

Es muy agradable el lugar. La habitación muy cómoda y buena atención. La comida rica. Muy cerca del centro de Oaxaca. El agua de la alberca es helada. A pesar de ser verano estaba muy fría, y el tiempo que atienden los meseros en el área se alberca. El agua más templada o con calefacción sería ideal, así como dar tiempos de entrega

Every staff member at Hotel Fortin were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, well maintained and very comfortable. The restaurant had delicious breakfast and dinner items at a very reasonable price. Lastly the location of the hotel was close to all major attractions while still being quiet at nighttime. Overall amazing experience and highly recommend.

La habitación muy cómoda, sábanas limpias y cama confortable, únicamente percibí un poco de polvo en el piso. El pasillo también un poco polvoso. Todo lo demás super bien!! el personal muy atento y amable. Sí me volvería a hospedar en el Hotel Fortín Plaza! Además está a unos pasos de la Guelaguetza!

Los baños estaban sucios les falta una limpieza profunda

se dejaron las toallas para que no se lavaran y las revolvieron, éramos 2 compañeras de trabajo; además no barrieron la habitación, había cabellos

Falta mayor limpieza en las habitaciones,y mejorarvel tendido de las camas.

Falta de higiene en la habitacion, el baño y rompería. No cambiaron las sabanas

Muy bien cuidado el hotel. El restaurante muy rico. La habitación muy limpia, se puede ir caminando al centro en 15-20 minutos.

The hotel was in a perfect location. It was close to El Mercado and El Zocalo. The staff was very attentive and polite. Unfortunately, the WiFi in the hotel was not working for the 4 out of the 5 days we were there and they did not want to issue any kind of refund. The tv runs on WiFi, therefore there was no tv or internet available. We notified the staff and their response to this issue was that it was an out sourced service and they had no control of it. There was no kid of credit issued. I thought that was completely unfair. I will not be staying there next time.

The hotel doesn't have wifi in rooms which is absolutely ridiculous these days. Other than that, it is a decent place to crash.

LA HABITACION YA UN POCO VIEJA

Muy bien el hotel Solo que queda en avenida y si hay mucho ruido de camiones y carros así q si buscan descansar no lo recomiendo

La habitación deja entrar mucho ruido, tanto de los cuartos al rededor como del exterior. También, no sé que tan común sea, pero había gente trabajando a las 3 de la mañana con herramientas muy ruidosas, no pude identificar si era afuera o dentro del hotel.

Very nice spacious room

The hotel itself is a decent place to crash but it is missing wifi in rooms which is absolutely unacceptable these days. Had I known, I would have never stayed here.

The worst service ever. Not a friendly nor clean place. The room was not comfortable. Noisy bad service. Never to be back in this hotel. The place Oaxaca is beautiful. I had a coffee machine and nothing to prepare the coffee. Very lousy service. They said my taxi to the airport was going to be one amount and I was overcharged. No upgrade was offered. The room was only cleansed once. You could see it in the floor. Not happy at all.

El recepcionista de la mañana muy grosero y con pésima actitud le pedimos guardar por favor nuestro equipaje y lo hace con total desgano muy mala bienvenida.

Excelente hotel, las camas más cómodas que he probado en mi perra vida. La atención en todo momento excelente, el restaurant es riquísimo y muy económico, servicio e instalaciones de calidad. Definitivamente volveré de nuevo cuando tenga posibilidad.

I paid for a room with 2 double beds, but received a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. When I told this to the reception they first did not want to help me at all, only after a discussion they told me they would change the room the next day. I did not receive any refund or apology for getting a 3 person room while paying for a 4 person room. Furthermore, the view from the windows of the room was a wall.. No sunlight entered the room. Very very bad customer service. Some staff were very friendly, but a few receptionists ruined it with their bad attitude.

Staff is very friendly and responsive. The restaurant is very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Close enough to everything

A huge plus for this hotel is it's located adjacent to quiet Xochimilco, Oaxaca’s oldest neighborhood. The neighborhood is vibrant and charming with many excellent restaurants/cafes, murals, happenings, and historic aquaducts. This was a happy surprise and highlight of the location. A huge negative for this hotel is that it's located on Hwy 190, one of the busiest streets in Oaxaca, at a very pedestrian UNfriendly intersection. If you plan to walk everywhere, know you'll need to get your jaywalking/running chops on ASAP! (Pro-tip: walk north a block along Venus, and cross (carefully!) some distance away from the hotel intersection; head into Xochimilco via a smaller street parallel to Hwy 190. To get to the Centro, walk two blocks east to C. José López Alavez, turn right back toward Hwy 190 and come to a safe pedestrian-friendly cross-walk.) Note that accessible ramps/crosswalks are few and far between. The Xochimilco area is just across the street from the hotel; and the Centro area is a scenic 20-25 minutes. If you are able to easily navigate wildly uneven terrain/stairs/inclines, you will be fine walking everywhere/anywhere in sturdy shoes. For those who cannot, taxi rides to the Centro are generally less than 100 pesos (at the time of this review), to or from – the hotel will call one for you. The upper floor rooms (4+) offer lovely views. The staff is gracious, kind, and courteous. The breakfast buffet is decent, but repetitive.

Buen hotel tranquilo y bien ubicado ... Está cerca del centro pero no dentro de el por tanto es más tranquilo

The hotel was well placed. The only downside is being on the highway. (Unfortunately we were in the corner room). Otherwise the hotel was very good and the staff and cleanliness were great!

Good location

The hotel is built on a hill. Far away from the market place.

Hotel was a little further from the main attractions than I realized. It was also close to a nightclub, which was pretty loud on Friday and Saturday night. However, everything else with the hotel was quite nice.

en general el hotel cumple para una buena estancia, el personal siempre amable y atento Lamentablemente la alberca ya no es climatizada y yendo con niños es dificil con lo fria que está; también me llamó la atención que su restaurante, que antes me fascinaba, ya no me gustó, la comida sin sabor, las salsas sin el toque local que tanto me gustaba por lo demas, siempre recomendable una estancia ahí

The were repaving the street out front which made for a lot of noise and unpleasant smells in the pool area. Dining options were expensive for the quality. Not great selection. The staff was absolutely wonderful - friendly, helpful, smart. In fact I got into a slight altercation with a driver who tried to cut me off turning into the hotel, there was a minimal damage collision which was very annoying. I pulled into the parking area and the valet approached verified no damage before I could get shaken down, and sent the driver on his way. Nice.

Todo muy limpio, excelente atención del personal, solo el bufet del fin de semana con muy poca variedad y caro para lo que había en el área de comida. Nada variado. Menú a la carta bueno a buen precio.

The hotel was very nice and the location was walkable to beautiful neighborhoods like Xochimilco and Jalatlaco. The pool was fun for my little one and it was convenient to have a restaurant available. The view at the restaurant was also very nice. The only critique I’d give is that the service was incredibly slow. The restaurant, asking for any service like towels. Maybe they were short staffed the days I was there but other than that we really enjoyed staying there.

El Hotel muy bien, si me volvería a quedar ahí, sólo el Restaurante muy caro y la comida sin sabor congelada. Y aparte no salió un bicho en la sopa

My family loved the restaurant in the hotel! Amazing service and the food was delicious. The view of the city is nice too. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and our room was spacious and clean.
