Bed was comfortable and room pleasantly presented. Table and chairs and kitchenette useful. African book very enlightening. What looked like complimentary snacks and drinks next to kettle were chargeable and it should have been more obvious that it was a mini bar system. Frontage was uninviting and parking cramped and not enough spaces for every guest car.

A really calm, peaceful place with the unusual benefit of a microwave and fridge in the good-sized room. Because of its position on a main road, getting into and out of the parking area sometimes requires patience, particularly if someone is coming out of the car-parking just as you're trying to turn into it, but that was a minor issue.

One of the best B&B rooms I have stayed in. Room size was BIG! Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully provided. The whole place was aesthetically decorated yet very practical - could not fault it. Limited parking on site, but more off-road parking available on side road. We had to leave early, so did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Overall 5 stars and highly recommended!

Location handy to the city centre. Free parking available. Rooms a good size. Pillows and bed linen dated/old and need replacing. Assistance from reception limited - they are not in attendance in the evening. I requested our bathroom towels to be replaced during our stay and they weren't. This property is more of a guest house than a hotel.

Exceptionally comfortable and peaceful spot north of the city, with gracious staff and focus on inner peace. Spa bath supplies are a nice touch. The only downside is accessibility- lots of stairs and no elevator.

Staff and location are wonderful. Parking was great, the ensuite bathroom is extremely clean (new construction?). Lots of road noise from room facing the street, as well as neighboring rooms, but what can you do, its expected. Bed is on the firmer side. all in all an excellent stay.

We had such a lovely stay at the Marlborough House Hotel. The room was clean and staff were very kind. Our room had a large bathtub which was fantastic. The hotel is a bit outside Oxford city center, but it was easy to jump on the bus and get into town. If we return to Oxford in the future we will definitely be staying again!

Very clean and comfy bed! Slept well. Nice location. Polite helpful professional service. Would have been useful to have toaster & hob in kitchen and space / sink a bit small. Shame hospitality food and drinks not included in price of accommodation at £129 for one night.

We were in a bit of a rush when we arrived, and our hostess responded by booking us in super quick - and ordering a taxi as requested. We were in one of the Blenheim Rooms on Blenheim Drive - quite spacious. It was perfect for us.

We had such a lovely stay at the Marlborough House Hotel. The room was clean and staff were very kind. Our room had a large bathtub which was fantastic. Lovely clean spacious room with added benefit of fridge and microwave. Very convenient location and nice comfy bed. Enjoyed the continental breakfast which was delivered to our room. Loved the himalayan salt lamp! Hosts friendly and helpful. Would have preferred bath sheet rather than rather small towels provided. Excellent otherwise!

Pretty old building with spacious and clean rooms. Staff is friendly and helps if immediately when needed. Location is 10 minutes away from Oxford City center when going by bus. Bus stop is right outside the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marlborough House Hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the kitchenette and bathroom are clean and well appointed, the wi-fi works well and the presence of a ceiling fan was especially appreciated on hot summer days. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs, as some rooms face the road and a pedestrian crossing that frequently beeps. But this is a small niggle in view of the convenient location near Summertown, the availability of free parking, and the warm and cooperative attitude of the staff. Highly recommended and will stay again.

This is a lovely place to stay - we have used Marlborough many times whilst our daughter has been at University. All aspects of the accommodation are great and it is very easy to get into the centre of Oxford from here.
