Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket

We have the beach front cottage which was very nice, located in the centre of all facilities easy to access. Pool is large. I booked half board however they don’t provide free drinks with food not even water which was disappointing

El hotel es bonito y el personal muy amable. Está a pie de playa aunque la playa es muy rocosa, no se puede nadar pero buena para snorkel. Los detalles del hotel el baño tenía partes sin acabar que se ven de una remodelación y la vista de la habitación muy probablemente no se la de las fotos, ya que solo las frontales tienen la vista que ofrecen en la fotos

The resort is beautiful, pool area is huge and stunning. However this does not translate to the rooms, as our room felt very old, dated, and in need of refurbishment. Gym was also very very limited. Breakfast was nice with many options but quality could be improved. Service was excellent. One thing that really bothered us: we were put in the 6th floor, and the only way to go up and down during the day is with a funicular. There are 2 funiculars however during our stay almost aways only one was operating. We had to wait for very long periods of time (often 10-15 minutes!!!!) just to get from our room to the lobby area. That wea very annoying.

Overall a great hotel for kids. It has beautiful gardens and a fantastic pool. The property is a bit dated (30 y.o) and the staff is extremely slow (~1h check in). Location is in-between Patong and Kamala so you can easily grab between each in ~10min for meals and beach. Good value for money.

We stayed inna lagoon access room, and everything was great. The pool is wonderful, and we can’t wait to visit again!
