Was ok but the pool was close for repair

The rooms are all renovated. Bathroom shower heads should be cleaned better. And the pool is getting renovated witch is closed. Witch they shpild of said on the website before checking in.

My sister in law got stuck in the elevator and the call button didn’t work and said the line wasn’t in service. she was stuck in it at least twenty minutes without her phone as she left it behind. Other people staying at the hotel heard her yelling and grabbed people from the front desk who finally got her out.

Clean updated room. Staff excellent! Nice job on the renovations will be nice when the pool area is updated otherwise everything was great wings and onion rings from the lounge next-door or excellent also

The property is under renovations which is fine however I wasn’t aware of it at the time of booking. The facilities are being updated, rooms are great for an overnight stay, breakfast was limited and there were many flies in the baking, fitness center not operational. I would stay again for the price for a night only.

Parking is sketchy and didn’t feel safe

Lets look at this from a value for money perspective. The rate per night is cheap. The rooms have been renovated. The pool still isnt working & the oitside needs a facelift. But for a 2 star hotel at the rate I got it, I cant complain. Got a room at the end of the hallway so we appreciated the privacy. Two things to work on. Vending & ice you have to go to the main lobby area for. Also, the breakfast was very minimal. It was fabulous when the restaurant was open.

The lobby has been renovated, but the rest of the hotel was in poor condition. There was no hot breakfast as promised, and the eating room was subpar. The pool was closed as well, which didn’t bother me, but would certainly have been an issue for people with children. The hotel is in serious need of maintenance and upkeep - old carpeting, paint chips, and just repair everywhere,

It was advertised that the hotel has pool but it wasn't accessible due to renovation. I was only notified about it during online check in which is few hours before I got to the hotel. Otherwise, i could have booked a different hotel as my toddler was looking forward to the pool. The breakfast is loaded with store bought bread and sweet stuff due to renovation as well of the kitchen.

I checked myself in through the online service, and when I arrived at the front desk I received very prompt, courteous, and professional service. However, we booked here for the pool and there was no mention that it was out of service which was disappointing, but otherwise the staff is great and they do what they can to make your experience enjoyable

The room was terrible no lock on the door bathroom door broken, handle on shower door broken, phone doesn’t work microwave broken. The sheet on the bed were clean but badly stained (I hope) no alarm clock no lamps of any kind …

The room was okay. Comfortable bed however blood stained sheets. Yuck!!! Only 2 small pot lights above beds … no lights over doorway, no lights in corner by fridge, no lamps …. Only one small garbage can in bathroom…. Should have a garbage can in the room by fridge. Breakfast was horrible. Stale AND visible mold, coughed on cheese buns. Dried out everything …in bags …. DVERYONE puts there hands in to get. Poor breakfast all around. But this was a very inexpensive stay …. So up get what you pay for. Staff was courteous, kind and helpful. This place used to offer a nice hot breakfast in the attached restaurant…. Which is now under construction. That’s why we went back … but no hot breakfast anymore.

Extremely disappointing stay. The room was old, unclean, and my daughter even found bed bugs in the bed. She had to leave immediately and move to another hotel. The surrounding area also felt very unsafe. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Covered in bed bug bites and welts

The room was dirty, holes in the walls, stained rug! Could not get the heat working in the room. Lots of hallway noise, doors slamming all night. People screaming had to go down and place a complaint as it was after 2am and needed to sleep. Definitely not going to stay there again.

Room appeared to be recently renovated, it appeared ok, hallways dismal, all doors with paint missing. Saw garbage on third floor outside of rooms on Friday still there when I left Sunday. Breakfast deal was absolutely garbage. To much to say but not even individual peanut butters, but a 750 gram jar that half empty with a fork jammed in. The last day I go to grab my backpack off dresser housing tv and a mouse runs out, really left there feeling dirty. Cheap yeah but if I had any info that this place was this gross I would have paid up.

Rooms were dirty. Bedding was dirty and lack of towels in room. Room was not cleaned the next day and when asked housekeeping for some towels they were rude when answered. Got some finally later that night when we asked the front desk. Also the breakfast room was small and equipment dirty and lack of food options. Just went out and got our own breakfast. Overall a not so good experience and will never stay there again

Our room had hundreds of bed bugs. When we asked the front desk person to change the room, he said there is nothing he could do. It was the most disappointing and unsafe hotel ever

Cockroaches (4 that we could see). 2 that climbed on body and 2 on the wall in broad daylight! Yikes

Condom paper, hairs and stains in a supposedly clean room is a no go even for a two star hotel

We phoned the motel to book a room, but they said they had none available, yet we were able to book a room with them through Expedia. The front desk man answered all my questions, but never a smile. Room had fridge, microwave, coffee machine, wardrobe, desk, but not tub only a shower. The room was very well lit, with lots of ceiling lights, but there were no bedside lamps, so you had to find your way to the bed once you turned out the lights. They had a full length mirror, which was fully lit around the edges, but the bed was right in front of it, so it was kind of useless to see any part of your body below your thigh. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. The breakfast was in a meeting room, not a formal breakfast room. There were ants crawling on the food tables and ant traps on the floor under the tables. The breakfast consisted of bags of bread or bagels with no tongs, packaged muffins and other carbs, cardboard containers of apple and pineapple juice, apples, oranges, bananas, jars of peanut butter and strawberry jam - crumbs all over the tables. I'm pretty sure I know what the health inspector would say about this breakfast.

Looks to be recently renovated, comfy bed, bathroom is nicely done; friendly staff, and a basic breakfast was included. Good value for the price.

The room was newly renovated and done well. However, the website advertised the bed as a queen, but in reality it was a double bed, so uncomfortable for 2 people.

Quiet for the most part until a dog wouldn't stop barking.

Room was extremely hot, A/C could not keep up. The beds where very uncomfortable.. Will not stay again.

Friendly and fast check in. Pillows too tall for my preference. Ran shower for over 10 minutes and never got water hot enough to shower in. Less than lukewarm. Yes, I know how to operate that style of faucet.

More pillows in room, only 3 in room for 4 people. Having lamps by bed. Asked for a wake up call but not given cause no phone in room. Missed having a restaurant in same hotel

Shower had freezing cold water but yet the sink had hot. 2 days spent there and never became warmer.

Charged twice. One on the credit card I booked with and then again on the card for security and said it will be refunded but never did so been weeks since I’m waiting

Had to constantly look for staff. Waited over 20 minutes for someone to check in and noticed the ther guests were also waiting. Rude and not very helpful. Breakfast was very poor and unsanitary and area not very clean. Would not recommend

I had booked this room for my parents who are in their 80’s and was disappointed to find out the restaurant was under renovations and was told by the front desk that I should informed hotels.com they didn’t update their website to reflect this. I booked it out of convenience for my elderly parents so they wouldn’t have to drive to eat their meals. Although the room and bathroom was clean and modernized, the toilet continued to run all night for 3 nights. In addition, the grounds around the building weren’t maintained. My 83 year old father tripped on a piece of rebar sticking out of the sidewalk and did a face plant on the ground. When I mentioned this to the front desk, nobody including the hotel manager went to check on my father. Poor customer care at this hotel. The room was average but the beds weren’t comfortable and the hallway wasn’t vacuumed daily. Very disappointed and wouldn’t not recommend this hotel to anyone. Maintenance was very quick to go and cut the rebar so no one else got hurt. It’s evident that the staff and manager is inexperienced in dealing with customer complaints and doesn’t worry about the wellbeing of their customers.

Where do I even start. Booked 3 rooms for my staff for a trade show, a total of 12 nights. 5 nights in and haven’t had my room cleaned or new bedding and towels yet. The breakfast is just pastry’s and toast with cereal if there’s any milk. Coffee’s cold and no cream for it. I left the passes to the trade show for one of my staff at the front desk and they lost them. It’s been an embarrassment to have my team there.

This choice of stay was last minute as I was not planning on staying in Regina but driving conditions were poor & I chose to be safe for the night. Room was clean, comfortable and renovated. However I had to wait approx.15 mins for front desk man to return prior to checking-in. He seemed “annoyed” to check me in & just tossed me my room key. He did not tell me how to get to the elevators (hotel layout is confusing) I had to ask how to get to my room. He also did not mention the amenities of the motel or nearby attractions. He also did not tell me what time free breakfast was. Upon my arrival, I pre-booked and paid my stay through Expedia. However, when I was checking out of the hotel, I got a notification from my bank app on my phone that an additional charge was made to my card for a night stay. I did not receive a receipt for that charge. Note; this was not an incident charge that would be reimbursed. I asked for an explanation and he told me that he “didn’t understand”, even-though he could see on his end that I already paid through Expedia. I asked to speak to a manager but was told that a manager would not be in till Monday. I had to contact Expedia and my bank to explain the situation and get my money back for a night that I did not have booked which was frustrating. As a sole female traveler, I definitely feel like he tried to scam me. Will NOT stay here again because of this. Also noticeable “sketchy” people were seen hanging around the outside of the motel.

Had an issue with my room door not locking. I went to the front desk and they switched me right away. Great service.

Needing to make an early morning start for the airport, at check in, about 9 pm, i asked for a wake up call and a taxi to be called. There was no phone in the room but i was assured someone would come to my door at 3:45 am to make sure i was awake. No one came. The weather had got colder, so my room was on the cool side, bedding was thin and no extra blanket in the cupboards so i wore my coat and scarf to bed to warm up. The heating came on eventually and whirred undulating in the night. After very little sleep before a 24 hour journey, i was glad my own phone alarm woke me, proceeded to wander for some time with luggage to find the elevator, in long halllways and had forgotten which direction in the nondescript hallway -- no obvious sign indicating it -- a brown door like the room doors, with the number 3 on it and a small sign beside regarding fire safety. Upon finally arriving downstairs i politely explained that my request for wake up call had not happened, the elevator needed a clear sign, etc. And i found that the taxi had not been ordered because 'it would arrive in 2 minutes anyway '-- it was more like 8 or 10 minutes. Positives were that the bed was comfortable and the room clean and water was nice and hot and staff were friendly, despite mistakes. I won't be staying there again, though I'm not upset with anyone -- it's just that i needed a good sleep before a long journey and the safety net of a wake up call in case of oversleeping my own alarm. Thanks.

Pleasantly surprised. If I am ever back in Regina I would stay here again. Staff saw us leaving early before breakfast and told us to go in as they were setting up and grab something to eat before our long drive to Toronto.

It's a newly renovated hotel with decent rooms. I wouldn't recommend for families or stays longer than a night or two as the area seems a little unsafe. Quite a few homeless people hanging around the area.

All good. was outside building at night i didnt like it. I also had to park in the parking lot further away from the hotel at night. I was a little scared.

It’s a great location, and very convenient for local shopping. I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. The lobby and the rooms are great, but there were plenty of dubious people in and around the parking lot and it didn’t feel safe at all. We kept checking on our car as we heard some car alarm go off and dodgy guys next to it. Breakfast was terrible; the room was just horrible and instead of having small tables, they just joined them to make these big shared tables. Breakfast options were great if toast is what you’re after; don’t expect much more.

Propety was renovated throughout ...very quiet ...hall ways could use more air circulation ...stair wells somewhat dirty ..very scary sign outside about vehicle security ...i would say its a comfortable stay .

The restaurant wasn't ready during our stay. Unfortunate since our previous stay at another Travelodge had wonderful meals and an excellent breakfast service.

The continental breakfast was an embarrassment to me. Two different kinds of cereals, the milk/cream was in a mini fridge on the opposite corner of the room from the coffee, no signage on where they are! When I mentioned the juice ran out to the front desk staff, she didn't seem to care. I used the treadmill and there was orange peels in the water bottle holder. They looked like they have been there for a few days. Very disappointed.

Room was super clean! I have stayed at this hotel years ago and the new renovations are great. The bathroom had a lovely shower and was nicely renovated. The breakfast - cooked to order, at the Ricky's Cafe next door was a highlight and the main reason we will come back! My only complaint was that the cleaning staff were a little noisy early in the morning but otherwise we were super happy and will be back!
