Room was very clean and nice, the staff was very friendly and very nice. I’m still irritated with having to go to either Idyllwild or 22nd St. to do my laundry. As a business traveler, I do my laundry on the road and this is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that has not had a guest laundry option. If anyone knows the city, they know that on a Saturday night after dark, either one of those locations are not ideal for anyone to be at. So something to consider for your guests. And if you’re wondering, I didn’t go to the 22nd St. location. There was a laundromat there that was very busy and very bright so I didn’t feel too uncomfortable.

The room was clean and adequate. The first morning I had breakfast, it was cold. The eggs were hard because they had been sitting there a long time. The bank machine in the lobby did not work. The vending machine did not work. I went to the front desk for a pen and was told there were none for the guests. On my last morning there was no buffet. I wanted some pancakes with sausage. I was told I couldn’t have sausages because it wasn’t part of the pancake meal. Not very accommodating. Considering I was not being charged I should have been accommodated

It was ok. I’d stay again if it was just an over night. Lack of pool or hot tub is a turn off. It fell a bit old school but for the price it was clean and the staff were professional.

Found bed bugs on my pillow and sheets. They moved me to a different room and comped me a breakfast for moving me. I am covered in bites and have photos and pictures of the bed bugs but received an email from them taking zero accountability for having bed bugs.

Stay was short and sweet, and positive all around. It was easy to check in and get to my room. The room was a little small, but enough for the night and sufficient for 1 person. Will stay again if needed.

Old worn out hotel. stained hallway carpets worn out rooms with worn out old room furnishings. Old worn out bathroom with flickering lighting and noisy worn out bathroom fan. lamp next to bed shade crooked due to wall lamp fixture being broken. Cords to both phone charger and lap top kept falling out of wall receptacles due to them being so over used and worn out. chair for desk bolts loose and chair lopsided. I could go on and on. this hotel needs severe updating.

Great for a short term stay. Staff were very nice and inviting. The room (premier standard) is small, but it has everything you need, and the bedding was very clean. The walls seem very thin and not sound proof by any means. Only complaint would be the pillows. They were very uncomfortable. Other than that this is a bit of a hidden gem I would say!

The room was nice and clean. The only thing that I didnt like was that I never received a wake up call. I woke up 20 minutes before my cab came. Had to dress up quickly and didnt even have a chance to wash up and get downstairs to checkout. The gentleman told me he wasn't told to make call for a wake up. The night before when i checked in, she accepted my debit card for the 250.00 damage deposit because i did have enough money on my Credit card. So the next morning that same gentleman who didnt do the wake up call, didnt know how to manually put the 250.00 back on to debit card. So he called a co-worker at home to find out how to do it. I asked for my breakfast sandwich to take along but i didnt get a chance to eat because i ran out of time and couldn't go through security. I was so thankfrul that cab driver waited almost 20 minutes for me. The waiter was awesome and the steak sandwich i ordered was made to perfection. I complemented the Lady cook personally. Thats all i have to say

Terrible experience at Heritage Inn Saskatoon — especially with the Operations Manager, April Vademoro. I had been staying at Heritage Inn Saskatoon from May 20, 2025, with a reservation until June 14, 2025. The purpose of our extended stay was because my wife is pregnant, with a due date of June 4, 2025. As of June 9, we were still waiting for the birth of our baby — a very sensitive and stressful time for our family. During breakfast on June 9, I found a hair in my food. I was polite about it, simply informing the staff so they could be more careful. I also asked for 6 coffee cups, as they are supposed to be provided daily, but was told I would have to pay for them — which was unreasonable given our booking. When I asked to speak with the manager, April Vademoro arrived. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she told me, "You don’t have to stay — you can check out today," knowing that my pregnant wife was 5 days overdue. We were effectively pushed out of the hotel at a very critical time and had to find emergency accommodation elsewhere. This was incredibly stressful and humiliating, especially coming from a hotel manager. Overall, this was the worst service I have experienced in any hotel. I would strongly caution others — especially families and those needing a supportive, professional environment — to think twice before staying here.

When I asked to speak with the manager, April Vademoro arrived. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she told me, "You don’t have to stay — you can check out today," knowing that my pregnant wife was 5 days overdue. We were effectively pushed out of the hotel at a very critical time and had to find emergency accommodation elsewhere. This was incredibly stressful and humiliating, especially coming from a hotel manager. Overall, this was the worst service I have experienced in any hotel. I would strongly caution others — especially families and those needing a supportive, professional environment — to think twice before staying here.

Room clean, staff super nice. Don’t appreciate the $250 damage dep being refunded until days later. That’s not right. Understand why there is a damage dep but not refunding as soon as room verified in good order should be after room is checked and should be checked at check out. But the room area is quiet and very nice lady checked me in.

We were very disturbed to learn that this hotel has locked out its employees for more than two years, and is using scab labour to run the hotel while it locks out its workers. We spoke with the very kind and professional locked out staff on the picket line outside the parking lot and learned how little staff are paid, or the strong arm tactics of the hotel owners. We will never stay at this hotel again until it ends the lock out and comes to a fair collective agreement that pays at least a living wage to its staff.

If it wasn't already paid for I would not have stayed. There is a union lock out at the hotel. If I had known I would not have booked. Many of the staff on shift are new to Canada and have been told if they join the strike they could be deported. Rate was ok. Room was hot and the temperature control did not work.

The front desk weren’t the greatest. My students who were down for the weekend mentioned they had a terrible time with front desk communication. Repetitive requests by the front desk, then students would accommodate only for the front desk to again, not take the propped information down that they said they needed. This causing frustration and then avoiding the front desk all together. One experience was over the phone, Friday evening. Around 9pm. The front desk guy talking soooo fast then you could hear his cell phone in the background ringing and he was more interested to get off the phone to go to his cell phone. Then went describing an issue with reservations he was too lazy to help. Because of the cell phone going off. Disappointed in the service which is the absolute most important experience of the stay is the front desk staff. Beginning to end. I won’t be using this property again for my next group of students.

Good rates, clean rooms and comfy beds, great breakfast (you have to select the rate that includes breakfast, it's worth it) and generally speaking, we had a good stay. The area didn't feel 100% safe, but there's nothing they can do, actually, they have security people on the property, something we really appreciated.

Property was in a quiet area. Staff was nice and they actually had stairs I could use as I do not use elevators. Only thing I did not like was only one point of entry. No back door. I would stay again.

The room was clean but dated. We just needed some where clean and cheap to stay for a couple of nights and this was the perfect place. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in, lobby is clean, open and light. Rooms are small, smaller than I was expecting but adequate. We have a microwave and fridge which was great. We added on the breakfast for a minimal fee and had the buffet breakfast. It was quick, easy and hot. Eggs, bacon, French toast, hash browns, toast available. Next day we had pancakes and sausage substituted. No complaints. I did read The rooms do not get cleaned everyday and are set to being cleaned every 3 days if you have a longer stay, so I can definitely see the need to ask for house keeping or new towels. On the map it seems “across the city” from where we needed to be but it was a quick 10min drive around and super easy to get back and forth for our locations. Other than that, we were pleased with our stay, it was exactly what we needed.

Very friendly front-desk staff. Nice hot-bfst buffet included. Friendly restaurant staff, with a great music playlist. Nice beds. Lots of parking. Very quiet. Will definately stay here again.

Hotel room was excellent. Staff at check in & out were awesome I didn’t care for the dinner I had chicken was tough, vegetables were soggy but mashed potatoes were good. No cocktails as the bar wasn't open.

Everything was amazing - especially the persons behind the desk. I had an issue with my iphone and they didn't stop helping until it was fixed. One issue tho was the 5.00 Buffet Breakfast I had in the morning. I do not drink coffee or tea, never had a cup in my life. I was shocked to find no juice of no kind - I had to ask where it was, thinking I didn't see it. Server said juice does not come with the Buffet, but he did give me a juice box. Man oh Man Heritage Inn, U can do better!!! Now I don't normally complain, but the hashbrowns were pretty much hard & burnt, the pancakes were hard and rubbery, with only sugary syrup to put on - and I am diabetic. The bacon was great and the eggs, well I don't normally like that kind - out of the carton. So to say it bluntly, I was very dissapointed!! Prob the worst Continental Breakfast I have ever hard at a hotel. I was reading reviews a few days ago and so many were unhappy with the breakfast, if I would have known that there was no juice, fruit, yogurt, toast etc I would have just ordered a meal of choice. Not sure if I will be back if looking for a continental breakfast. At least U could haver a pitcher of juice set out. Please do better!!!!!!!!

Not a terrible spot to stay at, very noisy with lots of kids in the lobby. The free hot breakfast is what i look forward too however be forwarned the food is garage. Typical buffet style hot breakdast. The eggs where served in a hot dish with a plastic bag lining the actual dish. Eggs where soaking in water.sausage was had a grey hue to them... not sure what to make of that! Oh and if you want a glass of orange juice to wash down your terrible breakfast its extra! I guess they figure kids will drink coffee or water.

The rooms were small which is doable but the bathroom was super small and not near enough shampoo conditioner or soap especially when they didn’t clean our room at all during our 2 night stay. The breakfast was really bad it was cool, eggs were crusty, bacon was under cooked, and no fruit or yogurt or even toast available, no juice either just water.

The hotel was okay. I was surprised that for over an hour they (the staff) let a what looked like a homeless person lay stretched out in a chair in the main lobby of the hotel. I even approached the one staff member at the desk and said “ do you really think this is appropriate to have this happening in your lobby? She said that four staff members have approached him and he won’t move. I suggested to call the local police. She informed me that he had a room there. I suggested that she contact the MANAGER WHO WAS CONVENIENTLY OFF that day. I said, believe me he will thank you for calling him rather than see photos of this in the local paper. Not the kind of advertising a hotel needs !!!! She did call and promptly took the phone over to the man and held it to his ear. She took the phone away then left him and went behind the counter. He swiftly got up and went over to her and reamed her out. She went into the back room till he left. Other than that the breakfast was great! The staff was great. The room was a match box but bed was great. We will stay again. Very close to the airport ( 5 minutes) 😊

Staff was welcoming and helpful, room was clean and cool, beds were small but comfy, (we were 3 adults and booked a double bed room so this was expected) air conditioning worked well, fridge was cold and we kept food from our cooler overnight for our trip, ice was provided at the front desk, breakfast was a buffet style hot breakfast which was included in our stay! Overall this was a great stay for a quick stop on our travels through Sask!

Was offered SANDWICHES BEEF< TURKEY< HAM. Out of beef for spouse. Got me a Ham & Cheese on brown bread which I do not eat. This is not breakfast. No eggs, bacon. sausage etc. Go a Child's bag lunch. Sandwich 1 slice ham & 1 slice cheese. Better you had told us no breakfast then charge us for a $5 bag LUNCH. We would of been happy to know NO BREAKFAST. Charge less. We really loved everything about the place till this. It was disgusting . Was travelling to Ontario & wanted A GOOD START TO THE DAY. I was so impressed with everything to now I would not stay again. We were driving back never to be that way again so wanted to treat ourselves & stay somewhere nice with good food. Sorry don't do bag lunch for breakfast. Yogurt, coffee, bagel, cream cheese. So many times that are breakfast foods. Who ever thought of lunch sandwiches did not care about the customers. Paid for a meal we did not get.
